I admired the rack allowing for two extra tires. Good show. I think I'd want to go with pragmatic add ons such as emergency water containers. Emergency gasoline carriers. Pragmatic things. Forget about a car. Or a motorcycle.

zil 135 would surely be the best camper platform... but i do wonder why not more trucks have steering in front and aft axis like that one. it seems that does have some advantages that steering is the same just reversed and not like other 4 axis trucks where steering on 2 front axis is different

The amount of places you can’t go with a truck like this, it’s cool but impractical for world travel
Very inspirational, Hope they have a safe journey. I wonder if a smaller vehicle would be better though. When driving in the wilderness many of the roads are very narrow. A 4x4 van would be much more suitable in those conditions
4x4 mercedes benz sprinter converted in a motorhome would be a better option with 7 1/2 meters long and double tandem in the backs (3 wheels per side in line )and doesn't look like an american army truck left behind that can be used as target practice by an ex isis.
Nice one, pity the MAN truck dealership I visited here in South Africa was clueless about expedition chassis MAN trucks...
