- Update on converting my street twin to a street cup. Quick ride out over some twisties to test out tyres and shocks.

Good to catch up with you again on Sunday. The bike sounds lurrrvvvvly. Engine has a nice smooth sound as you drop the throttle. Twins rock.

Snoozer You’ll need the street cup seat in order to mount the cowl..

Happy to see you have some new stuff on your bike mine is still a bit rags and riches right now I will be replacing damaged parts that haven't been replaced yet

2WheelFreak I love the look of the Thruxton but it's too scrunched up for me. The Speed Twin though...mmm. Then again I'm not a fast rider so would probably be fine with a Street Twin and could hang onto my triple when I do feel like going fast. 🤔

2WheelFreak That would be ideal. I do like the triple but wish I had a "slower" bike too.
Nice work! Looks and sounds awesome! The mods you added don't make it look like a modified bike; but just a better, cooler looking bike. Thanks for the info on the tires. I have heard nothing good about the factory Pirellis.
bc67 Thanks bud! Yeh, the Pirelli’s were terrible, the bike completely changed with the ContiRoad Attack 3s, they have been superb in the wet and dry, well worth it, The rear shocks also really helped the handling. 👍
Bike is sounding really good mate and looking mint, that road is cracking for the first half but a little bit like a ploughed field as you get closer to muirkirk I find lol
Darkvisor 🤣🤣👍👍 Yep, it’s just as you pass the sign saying ‘welcome to Ayrshire’!! 🤣🤣 Famously Bad roads around that neck of the woods! But seems Ayrshire council has fixed large sections of it! 👍 Found a great couple of loops around there which are just great! Went round them today with OxideFX, will put a video up soon! Should come join me some time, either these loops or Tyndrum loop

Lot of parts from George, like on my own Street Cup ! I have to change the tires too, I don't like at all the Pirelli Sportcomp, I am not confident at all with those tires.
I'm planning to add those Ace bars but afraid it will be uncomfortable. Does the stock foot peg placement compliments well with the Ace bar or should I add a rear sets to help balance out. I'm 5,9 tall.
Wow! You nailed it with style. Ever considered an aluminum (then painted white) bullet fairing? Omega Racer makes a beautiful one.
I'm considering it for my street cup. Your bike looks so good with just the screen, you may not want to change (although I think the screen would look great w the fairing too.

Sal Sonic Thanks bud! Really pleased with the looks, love the crystal white.. I left the screen smoked glass as I sometimes change the seat to the flat brown bench seat. 👍

So sick. I been wanting that cafe racer seat for my white 2018 Triumph ST for a while. Where did you get yours??
I got the seat from triumph.. it’s the bullet seat from the street cup, you can buy at a dealer. It doesn’t come with the cowl though. I purchased a second hand street cup cowl (yellow) on eBay and had it painted crystal white to match.
Does the seat height increased compared to the stock seat?

The CNC round TEC bikes parts mirrors are definitively better that these one from Triumph, they are also much cheaper. This is not a street cup but a street twin you have.
MrToonfish I really like the Triumph mirrors! Yes, I know it’s a street twin, that’s what I bought. 🤔 I have changed the seat and handlebars to make the appearance ‘more like’ the street cup. The cup only comes in yellow or black, I decided to go with a white twin and change the look to match the cup. 👍
@@2WheelFreak I did the same on my street cup... Only yellow / silver and black / silver... As for any cars, I am not into two tones paint job, in fact I really hates that. Have changed the color of the tank and rear seat cover with a grey paint looking like a proper bike coming from the sixties ! :-) Ride safe.
