A UK friend of mine was fined 1000 euros for speeding in Switzerland. Apparently, it's a special rate for foreigners. Locals pay 80 euros. Apart from that, I love the Thruxton R. Got to be the best looking motorcycle on the planet.

No special rate, just really really really strict law (which we, the people voted for unfortunately)
Do they still demand you pay the annual motorway tax even though you're just passing through? They sure used to be tough on tourists!
