I want drone 😄 I used to watch all these vids and it would make me think drone was bad. Then I got an exhaust that got quiet after 55 and got jealous of guys going down the road with an exhaust you could hear. I switched to Magnaflow and love hearing my exhaust as I drive.
At least im not alone. Why would sombody not have the subtle Jet engine tone. I dont like the kitchen mixer and jetski sounds any ot he engines in the video make. Engines soiling their own vibration. To each their own though, of course, but to me they sound like their sound wave is all interfered with the engine rev sound and hence chopped up. Nothing better than one clear deep muuuuuuh like from a jet engine without any of the reving and howling, battering and rattling
Fit J pipes! Killed the drone in my Stroked 400 Mopar completely. Before, the drone was “Havana Syndrome” skull-crushing around the 2k rev range. Not nice at all. With open headers, also no drone, albeit it with louder sound across the rev and frequency range. The J pipes also smoothed out the sound without reducing the sounds you want to hear.
As one of the options, you recommend adding a pair of resonators so the vehicle would have 4 resonators, or do you place the oem resonators with high-quality aftermarket resonators?
I get a drone in my tuned GTI at 2250 but I love it. It is ridiculously loud, I guarantee you it is louder than any v8 you've ever heard. It idles at 84 decibels and it reaches 113 decibels at soft limiter (3200) so it easily breaks 130 on 7000 rpms
I have a 2020 GT PP1 6psd - corsa extreme w headers Catless. I personally love the fuck you sound corsa gives off 4K and up. If you like a more muscle sound I would agree and say borla.
Don't have headers yet but I have the mbrp active exhaust system and I am extremely satisfied with the sound. Loud but not too loud, inside sound is clean. 2020 pp1 6sp with active.
New 2022 Mach1 HP owner here. Im thinking about my Active Exhaust options to comply with racetracks that have noise restrictions. One of the options Im considering is replacing the stock resonator with two Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator bottles. Other option is keeping stock resonator and trying to fit regular Vibrant resonators behind it. Last option is an H-pipe combined with ultraquiet vibrants. Although I love the stock sound, I want to avoid getting kicked out of HPDE events when I use the Mach1 at W.O.T. Ive read that some M1 HP owners just pulled the AE fuse while the engine is running in AE quiet or normal mode, before pitting out on the track. Any suggestions?
I was thinking of mid-mounted Flowmaster 40s on a 2018 Mustang GT. I’m sure that will give a deep rumble, but would it also create drone due to being mid-mounted?
I have a 2019 f250 with the 6.2 V8 and i got a Flowmaster super 10 with mufflers and all resonators removed and i do get droning but honestly i love it 😅
Drone is not for these new car pups. Try running a 12:1 396 with single chamber race mufflers , no cats and long tubes that turn down before the rear axle....on the street. 1990's drone was awesome.
Best way to get rid of 'drone' is turn your radio on. YW lol
Fun game to play. Take a shot every time he says "drone"
you'll be dead by the end of the video
I'm sure people delete their back seat and do a muffler delete and proceed to cry about drone....
😅
Resonators prevent drone mufflers prevent sound

There's hearing your exhaust and There's drone, it vibrates right through your head.
Honestly. I love the way my WRX sounds/feels on cold starts and I wish I could get that all the way through the power band. 🤷🏼♀️

@@TeganCantEvenSame here 😂😅
The severity of drone varies. A little bit is alright, even desirable, but it’s easy to end up with awful drone when modifying exhaust systems.
kooks headers, magna flow res x pipe and borla s types is my setup and i love it
Any drone ?

So, going from stock resonators and adding 2 more resonators (4 total) is an option, or do you replace oem resonators with aftermarket resonators?
catless h pipe 4.6 3v with slp loudmouth muffler deletes and bbk shorty headers make the best music ever
Aways bet on Corsa extreme is the best sounding exhaust ever have it on my 15 gt an my lifted f150 coyote

Replacing mufflers with another set of resonators sound good on most cars
AWE touring best for no drone and sounds phenomenal.
I love drone!!
My 70 Chevelle droned. I loved it! I used to drone it on purpose.
Same here. Building another Essex V6 with dual in/out box.
That's when they knew how to make vehicles. They don't make them like they used to.

Which do you prefer? Corsa xtreme or Borla atak for a 2019 401a pp1 10r80 premium with active exhaust 🇺🇸
Borla if you want a deeper sound.....Corsa if you like it screaming
Borla

@@matrix_gaming5313 Jesus Christ that must be so loud....rip your neighbors 😂

Drone is my therapy
If I want the most drone, would a long straight pipe be best?
I tried the exhaust lottery with my mustang Ecoboost. They all drone, so I just went with the stock exhaust.
lmaoo😂

Love my drone. Currently building another 3.0 Essex V6 with a single dual in/out box for this reason. Most cars drones sound very annoying though.
I want my exhaust to drone. Says I.
I love the exhaust drone sound.
I love drone.
I Prefer to have drone
Question for the car community.....will egine drone be louder than turing my car stero system up
I bought a flowmaster outlaw duel and the drone is soooooo bad my card is a 2door bronco v6 😵💫
Does mbrp catback has drone?
Yes
I love drone haha. Helps me sleep.
I put aftermarket mufflers on my 2014 GT and when I put the stock mufflers back on I got drone. Anyone know how to fix this?
Stock mufflers works with resonator
Ultimately i wouldn’t care about drone or the exhaust humming same thing it’s just apart of modifying your exhaust
Roush resonator delete x-pipe and mufflers for me! 😂
I love aggressive drone.
I have always loved exhaust drone….
I kinda like the drone.
Apparently mine drones but it doesn’t bother me
The drone off my ZX6R is fucking wild. I can't stand it😂
I actually like drone.

bout add the mbrp axle back to go with my H pipe 😇
Soooooo pretty much,
you either prefer a stock Harley
-or-
a drag pipe’s no baffles Harley.
😅
Motorcycles don't drone because there's no cabin to resonate frequencys
Learned nothing other then "buy our shit"
the music on this video is more annoying than drine
I’ll take “drone” any day over that annoying dog bark rasp…
😡🤢🤮
After watching this video, I still don't know what drone is.
Edit: This video actually demonstrates drone: th-cam.com/video/ZrioaI1HcFQ/w-d-xo.html
