Hey, I'm the creator of this game, that was so cool! Thank you for taking the time to analyze it with so much depth, there's also a bonus game mode which basically just makes you hate Amy more.
Regarding the sequel, it's also made by me, the changes in studio name, branding, and presentation of the game basically came from what you noticed yourself, I don't really get a lot of coverage, more of a reason of why I really appreciate all the work you put into this, and my players who recommend my stuff even after so many years.
The sequel retains the grim dark storytelling of the first and the stealth is there, but it also has this outdoors city mode with the robot maids, while also trying to blend some fantasy sci fi into it, it's basically me trying to retain my old playerbase and catch new ones and maybe get noticed this time, I gotta admit I struggle balancing those.
You got it correctly when it comes to Arris and her father, they are similar, I tried to get players to really hate Mourne so they can have that uncomfortable truth moment like Arris in the docks when she realizes that.

I appreciate you commenting and I'm glad you liked it! Honestly your game is great, I loved playing through it and do intend to look at the sequel later. I'm glad I was spot on with the Mourne/Arris thing and I do hope that I end up enjoying the second game. I also wish you luck in any future games or projects you make.
Holy cow someone actually made a video about this, I'm a huge simp for this project and backed the kickstarter for the sequel, outside of the hardcore micro fanbase it didn't really get much attention, personally I believe its due to a bad presentation, I did express my feelings about this to the dev during the campaign, but these games get DEEP.
I won't give spoilers on the second but after you finish this, there's the other routes that branch a lot into these "what if" endings, some routes are similar to the main one and other vary tremendously and there's also the New Game+ with the origin of Eureka that makes you hate Amy even more but also get to know some bits of all the characters before the events of the game started, and there's...even...more...you NEVER finish with this thing.
Glad you also like the game, I did a recent stream of the second game. I personally had my own issues with it and don't think the sequel is a game I enjoy too much yet, but I hope it improves. I also think I did do the new game plus, or at least mentioned it in the video. Made this one a while back so memory is foggy

I’ll consider it. I looked into it but I’d probably wait a bit to decide if I want to play it. Not the biggest mech fan, but it being a horde shooter does seem interesting. If I do decide to do it, it wouldn’t be too soon considering some of the other stuff I already have. But I do have another mech-like game that I might put a poll for in the future

one of my fav rpg maker games, I think Eureka was wasted potential, she was reduced to sort of Arris' mirror character when she could've been so much more. she has the most interesting story with robots and clones where the other characters are just childhood friend 1 2 and 3.
So will you play Blue Archive and make a video about it?
Probably not, I looked into it and it just seemed like a turn based strategy mixed with about 3 other genres and on mobile. So probably not, considering it’s not exactly what I do
