I was truly not expecting a FNaF Essay video on the 2020-2021 FNaF Fangame I made when I was 16 lmao. But, I'd be lying if I said I haven't watched this video with a big, BIG smile from ear to ear.
I've always considered my game pretty niche and I was totally fine with it. The Coso's series was always meant to be pretty much just a test of my abilities to both draw, code, and to create a compelling narrative story, since it was my very first approach to making FNaF Fangames with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Developer. But seeing them be played by some people and seeing their experience with the game has always been a total pleasure, and not because I want people to make videos about my game specifically, but because I very much enjoy see what are people's different reaction to all of the endings and opinions towards the games itself.
I was really worried what you would think of the game, seeing that title's name really made me gulp haha. But I've watched your past reviews about FTaH and other games so I was sure what you would say would be the hard truth.
I'm both glad you enjoyed the game despite the flaws and bugs that I couldn't really prevent since Clickteam is a very unstable program. And I'm very glad you've given a very grounded opinion on each game and recommended them based on people's preferences.
Before I move on, I would like to say something about some statement you made about the game:
- You've got some release dates wrong lmao. The game has gone through multiple recodes and remakes so I don't blame you, especially the first and second game.
Coso 1 was released May 26th 2020, and the 2.0 update came in less than 2 years later.
Coso 2 was released July 21st 2020.
Coso 3 was released December 1st 2021.
- I am very sorry for the resolution issue you had to experience with the first game, and the scrolling issue (still related to the resolution) in the second game. The game's window resolution is 1280x720 since I have a laptop with a not so big screen. I figured you must have a very large monitor that somehow doesn't resize correctly once you boot up the game.
This is very weird, because the same fullscreen is applied to games such as Coso 3 and Cosonut 2, yet I haven't seen you having resolution problems with them. I'll make sure to check things out.
- I'm sad you didn't decide to finish the first game, as there's a cool secret bossfight you can unlock after beating night 6 that adds a bit more content and explains the lore :(.
- The Coso characters aren't really based on anything in particular. My idea was to make a simple fangame to then move on to more complex ideas. They're brown because the first thing that came up to my mind when making them was Freddy Fazbear, that's brown, so I decided to make them brown as well. Although people started calling them coconuts lmao. I embraced that joke and turned it into a spin off (The One Night with Cosonut series).
Also, "Coso" in my native language means "Thing", literally.
- The text on the newspaper of the second game is not written in spanish, it's italian (my language). But I don't blame you as always, they're pretty similiar and I get it's confusing.
- The movement of the animatronics aren't scripted. The movement is based on a counter that when reaches 0, they move forward. Pretty simple.
They have a range to choose from at the start of the night (for example: Coso has a range of 20 - 40) so they can't choose a number lower than 20 or higher than 40, so maybe it'll be 26, 30, 38, and then it starts to count down by 1 every second.
But I get what you're coming from: I made the range too narrow to have an impact on gameplay. I personally don't see what is wrong with it, but I understand your opinion.
- Finally, the wiki. As I said, this FNaF fangame is pretty niche and doesn't get the attention of big figures on the community. So almost nobody ever helps out adding information to the wiki. I myself have tried to do it on my own, but the sheer amount of work was really tiring. So I kinda gave up and update it when I feel like it. I just wish there were more people who would be willing to help out but it's fine.
And that's pretty much it. I'm sorry for this long wall of text kinda like the instruction of Post-Shift 2, but I really enjoy when people are willing to not only play my games, but also put thoughts and opinions into it.

Tbh I really don't understand why you called the series "Such a Ridiculous FNAF Fan Game Series" since it's pretty clear you liked it and I don't see how that title fits in?
But I digress. I just really want to thank you for the time you spent making a video about a game I really enjoyed making and plan to make a few more spin-offs in the future.

@@MidaGames_ Hey, I’m surprised you commented so soon! Usually creators don’t comment after at least a few days if I make a video on their game. I’m glad that you liked at least some of what you saw, and sorry about the title, for this one I couldn’t think of a creative title and was coming up with it last minute. The title isn’t meaning to be rude or demean the game, I just couldn’t think of any other adjectives. (The ridiculous part probably best ties with the ONWC series) regarding your corrections, I didn’t know about the timer mechanic you mentioned and I understand about the wiki stuff. Also, a few people were upset about release dates or me not mentioning everything, I don’t tend to mention every little details because sometimes it might just be seen as annoying and if people choose to check it out they’ll still have things to find. I’m also embarrassed I didn’t get the fact it was Italian, I don’t know very much of it and google translate had assumed it was Spanish. Im still happy with the video regardless of my errors but didn’t know about the FNAC Night 6 boss fight. I probably should’ve played it but now other people have a reason to try and beat it to show me up, ha.
I do hope you continue with game development if it’s a passion of yours and would like to see what you do next if you make something else. Also, don’t worry about the screen bugs I mentioned, they were played up for comedic effect to try and add a little humor, I understand it’s a click team thing not meshing well with my monitor. I still hope you enjoyed the video a little bit and wish you a nice day!

@@stressedskeleton6838 Another one, but you really need someone to read your scripts and make sure they're good, because some things like calling Italian "butchered Spanish", pronouncing "MidaGames" wrong, saying the wrong release dates for the remakes, some things that can make the game seem not that good like your issue with the fullscreen (which as far as I'm aware is a you thing lol), just on the whole a bunch of errors that could've been easily solved if you ask anyone knowledgeable on Five Nights with Coso to look over the script
And also the whole part after the 31:40 where you start saying the ending of FNaC 3 but don't show any footage and instead some recycled One Nights at Cosonut 2 gameplay is really odd and really drags it down a bunch
