- Restoring my outdoor Greenhouse, showing you the plants that will go in it, and a SURPRISE unboxing from Ecuagenera.
Greenhouse purchased from Amazon app yrs ago.
Plant trays purchase from local Nursery.

You deserved those plants. You did an awesome job on that greenhouse. I like the way you put the trays over the wire that's cool don't have to worry about your plants falling. It was good to see your reaction on your new plants👍🤩

Great video Dave. Those tips were on time since I will be doing something similar next month with some of mine for the first time. Love the Amazon Sunset. I have ptsd from the last time I tried to import it but may do it again seeing yours. Hope all is well.
Can’t wait to see whatever setup you do! Yeah their imports are getting better, but most the time it ain’t worth the trouble to me. I’m sure your greenhouse or whatever you do will be a learning process for us all.

Nice imports! I grow most of my plants in semi hydro & they’re all outside. I just made swearers for the clear pots. The others are in aroid mix. I don’t use soil. I live in Georgia & if they can’t stand the heat…oh well😂🌱🥵. You did great with the greenhouse. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Oh nice, that’s good to know that semi hydro does well outdoors. I’ve had a couple that didn’t mind, but all my Anthurium weren’t havin’ it. I’m just like you, I’m not gonna compromise with plant care too much.

Thank you Justina. That storm set me back a lot. Even had to replace a roof at my other house. But everything is coming back together. Hope your Anthurium does well this season.
@@AroidDistrict Sorry to hear that! The mall roof caved in here and has been closed for 2 weeks so they can remove the snow.....cranes everywhere! The picnic tables in the back yard are fully covered with snow! Never has happened! It may not even be melted by June there is so much snow! Glad no one was hurt with that roof damage at your other house....glad you are recovering!

Cool greenhouse. The plant I want from Equagenera is Anthurium longissimilobum. I dont know how heat tolerant it is. I like to grow my plants on my porch in the summer.
Yeah I'm not sure on how heat tolerant that one is. Seem like most Anthurium will have trouble if it doesn't cool down during night time.
That sunset is gorgeous. I’ve imported two now and both came in dead.

I am enjoying your spring plant kick off video.
I am thinking since you have LA weather and a greenhouse, those big plants you have taken outside will never need to come back in the house? I ask that because they are this vaboom size now, after summer growth outside there will not be space inside your home for their return. Also what type of crane equipment would you need to lift the pots of the huge lush heavy plants that I anticipate you will get from the upcoming growth spurts , even if you somehow found space inside your home? Ah the trials and tribulations of being a Plant Whisperer!
LA is weird, most tropical plants won’t survive winter in a pot, has to be in-ground. But size is not an issue for bringing them in. I cut plants, sell locally or on Etsy when I don’t have room.

Thank you. No I don’t normally wet those coco coir poles that come in a package. Most climbing Philo will still root into them over time, if tied securely.

When we get bad winds (Santa Ana winds) how do you keep the greenhouse from taking off?
The Greenhouse is placed in the corner of two walls. South and West facing walls that are over 6ft. That prevents it from moving. Any West corners will prevent shorter greenhouses from moving.
