    The Go has been my daily writer for almost 2 years now. It bounces around in my purse with my planner, has been packed along on road trips, and dropped several times on hard floors-still writes beautifully. I am planning on the stub nib next, just to try it out. I love this pen.

    I went to my pen shop and have decided to get the eco because of the looks, when i get there.. i ended up picking up the go one .. dont know why but the go actually looks nice in person than in pictures or videos.

    I currently own 3 TWSBI pens, 2 mini and 1 Vac mini. Wonderful pens! I opted for the smaller versions of TWSBIs as I find them aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to hold as I have small hands/fingers. There's some feedback but not enough to regret their purchase. I did crack the Vac mini (my careless use); however, I contacted TWSBI and was mailed a replacement part quickly. I would consider buying the Eco or Go if the length of the pen was shortened somewhat. As always Sal, thank you for the posting!

    I just recently bought the TWSBI GO and it took a bit to get use to. I didn't like it at first but now it is the one I carry in my purse for every day use. I have three TWSBI ECO which I love. I have small hands and they work fine for me. I don't write with them posted. I also have two Pilot Metropolitans.

    I have a few twsbis including 3 Ecos. The GO is a must have for me just from the point of that Spring - just a fun pen. Not all pens cost a fortune. Novelty feature of the spring appeals to me - broad nib or Stub.

    I have 2 Ecos black, 1 transparent blue, 1 Diamond 580 and the Go and i love each of them, they are the best pens you can get for that les money. Good Video.

      In mine a cup at a cafe would be about 6 bux a piece XD So 1 and 2/3 cup XD If you go to Ikea maybe 20 cups.

      The Go holds 1.1 ml. The Eco holds 1.5 ml.

    If the eco had a more rounded design for the cap and piston end I would be a huge fan. The Go is much more pleasant to look at and hold. At least for me. But I prefer the piston over the spring. So combining these two pens would really be great! Love using my eco but the Go is my go to over it. Used it for about a year now.

      Sal something about the girth and weight that I like when drawing. Also, I don’t get those snobby looks from others like I do when I have used more expensive pens. Eco looks more friendly, crayon like. Options are great and twisbi certainly has a great lineup. I do like my eco better than my 580.

    Thanks for doing the comparison.
    If aesthetics is the only difference aside from the easier nib changing on the eco, I'm cool with the go lol

      @@unsharpen do you draw with you fountain pens?
      I started drawing with a cheap one and it keeps clogging up.
      Idk if it's due to crap ink or a crap tip.
      Since I'll be getting only one I just had the thought about about buying different nib sizes.
      Do you think it's worth it to buy multiple pens over a long period for the different nib sizes or just getting one and buying different nibs to change them out?
      Changing the ink out isn't a really big deal for me.

    I think the GO actually fixes what the ECO "TRIES" to be.
    Had a bad experience with the ECO. Like the looks, but the pen keeps burping (maybe why my comment will be biased).
    Had a Vac Mini, nothing but good things to say to it (even though it easily cracked when I tightened the threads).
    What I mean by my first statement is that the GO is the definition of a good cheap FOUNTAIN pen.
    It's made out of plastic, hence no worries of scratching it. It is a push to uncap, which makes it easier to use it on the "go". It has an easy and cool filling system. You can wear it around your neck using a lanyard etc., and it's cheap as hell.
    What stays the same is the nib, which is quite reliable.
    I think that the GO is in a better place mainly because of the price range. At sub $20, you're looking at chinese pens like jinhao, hero, delike etc. who are also great, but TWSBI has good after market sales + good brand overall, so it basically has no competition there.
    ECO on the other hand, competes with FC / Lamy / etc., and to be honest the Loom beats them all to shame (It having a better nib + metal body).

    • @estoylaroca
      @estoylaroca 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Giordy Depends on where you buy it.
      Lamy here is like $30, while Loom is like $35.

    I have an Eco and I just got the Go. I don't think it's that ugly. I kinda like the look of it. But most importantly, the nib is nice and smooth just like the Eco. Only gripe is I can't seem to get the spring piston to draw a lot of ink into it. It doesn't even fill the chamber halfway, but maybe I'm not doing it right.

    I own and enjoy both of these pens. They are aesthetically polar opposites, but I find no need to compare them. I'd rather have a range of looks rather than all the same.

    • @ichirofakename
      @ichirofakename 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Now that I have some more experience, let me say that I love the Go's filling mechanism, which is by far the quickest I have. The Eco is a more attractive object of course, which will be of different values to different people. Quite minor for me. And through the miracle of TH-cam fountain pen videos, I learned you can put a Faber-Castell nib in the Eco, which I did and love.

    Gave the go a bit of a bash in, poor little thing, lol. They're both pretty good with similar ink capacities and I think the nibs are the same? The plastic on the go isn't as nice as the eco. Nice vid tho.

    These pens are made in China and the quality definitely reflects this. Love my Eco but I won't be buying Twsbis anymore. The price for the Go is completely unjustified. Very disappointed.

    my Twbsi Go feels like it bleeds out too much ink when writing. It might be the ink I'm using, maybe air getting in through the rear of the piston fill.. oh well 🫠
