NetZero in the UK is not effective, or indeed in Germany. The mix has to be nuclear for baseload, and gas for peak shaving, with renewables say 10-20%. Politicians are great at destroying economies, jobs, wealth and stability, but as the man said - the laws of nature and physics are no respecter of politics.

With respect l think you misunderstand. Capital projects require capital amounts of cash, but only if declared profitable. There is no capital to spend on storage as it must go on exploration and development. Anyone outside of the energy market is unlikely to see commercial budgets for obvious reasons 👍
