A vehicle for something. Not sure what their game is, except they want to destabilize governments everywhere to advance their political aims. I don’t think they care about girls or women’s rights. I didn't think Farage made a habit of being in or around his constituency, much less his constituents, more interested in being a loudmouth on TV. Honestly I'm appalled that people are turning this into a left vs right political thing, altogether missing the point entirely, it isn't an issue of party politics it's a major issue of safeguarding children and the police as well as local councils entirely failing the people they're there to serve and classism seems largely to blame for the apathy from the authorities (to the point where I'm wondering whicn wrong posh girl has been targeted that we're even talking about it now honestly) neither sides hands are clean on the government's end, it has been known about since 1997 at least that's 27 years and it continues to this day, we have been through both labour and the conservatives governments in that time, neither did anything, both are deplorable for that, the fact that it's being boiled down to left vs right just shows that even now they don't actually give a scuttering fuck about the victims and are fully prioritising their careers still.

We need to tackle one of the biggest issues in all of this, which is the authorities responsible for pandering to race grifters need hauling over the coals, and maybe some of the countless funds by police and local authorities wasted on inclusion and diversity workshops or putting together Islamophobia weeks, might instead go towards holding people to account and ensuring it doesn't happen again. Also, rape by ethnicity against population off the back of this should become public information. % of white men committing rape by ethnicity is.......% of Pakistani men committing rape by ethnicity is........ Then we will see where this is more prevalent, and where we need to do the work. I'm afraid as we saw over 10 years ago, referring it to 'community leaders' to deliver sermons in the mosques simply isn't good enough. We aren't Sharia, our community leaders are the council and the Police. They need to deal with this appropriately. And if it turns out to be as big a problem as suspected, the immigration situation becomes even more apparent
It should be a public enquiry. All cases should be dealt to the end. Those people should be in prison or sent wherever they are from. They are young girls innocent and scared by these men.... How disgusting can it be???????

The abuse was uncovered whilst Labour was in power and they had 13 years to address prior to the Tories getting in. In addition most cases were in Labour council/Labour MP towns and cities and when a few decent MPs councillors tried to address they were sacked. For those blaming ALL of this appalling scandal on the Tories, seem to have conveniently forgotten that it was Labour that was in power during the time when one of the most notroius of the Pakistani rapes gangs that was active in Rotherham from 2002 to 2007 and claimed an estimated 1,400 girls, an was described by researcher Angie Heal, who was hired by local officials and warned them about the exploitation of children, has since described it as the "biggest child protection scandal in UK history". It is also notable that the vast majority of these rape gangs operate in areas that are run by labour councils, so labour should employ some inward reflection as opposed to trying to put all of the blame onto the Tories. On another point, it is deeply concerning that neither the PM Starmer or the leaders of the opposition parties attended this extremely important debate. They all need to start taking this scandal more seriously and providing real help to the victims and not just announcing yet another 'plan' which cost a fortune to produce and nobody bothers to read.
Most of the crimes were committed in labour areas & coveted up by labour politicians. Have you asked why Mp Shaun Hughes tries to stop an inquiry when he was a labour council leader?
@simondebeer9917 Wouldn't be the fact that rape gangs are generally linked to young Pakistani men, and 75% of young Islamic men vote labour? Surely not.........
Most MPs actually do stuff in and for their constituency, they have a schedule set weeks in advance to assign the days they will be in the house and those they will not. Typically they try to be there on Wednesdays for PMQs so the rest of the week it is normal for there to be a lot of empty seats especially if the planned debates today were not that important. The Home secretary and her opposite number plus a couple of other front benchers probably had to change schedule to be there because they had to, for others who didn't have to be there a schedule change would have been more destructive to their work (which could include local issues relating to child sex abuse) than not going.

2 minutes research to find a fact: Operation Stovewood: (Rotherham) Seven men jailed for a total of 106 years for sexually abusing two young girls in Rotherham.
The sentences were 14/6/15/24/24/13/9 years + 1 yr on licence. Fact.

We love you Jess. We know all that you have done. ❤ haters gonna hate. ❤❤❤
No we don't, we detest this horrible woman! She's out her depths!
The same Jess that won't do a proper investigation? Some of the councilors are in on it. So a good idea is to give the problem to the groomer to solve? Intelligent.
Corrupt Phillips resign 🤬🤬

@@KevinOlsen-q9l I don’t think you understand what corrupt means. how about we implement existing recommendations to protect kids & women?
Terrible actress sad faces definitely not convincing
Don't tell me this wasn't going on and being ignored long before the tories got in power
@@michaelmarshall9132 Since man walked uon the earth. Organised, in the 1960's through institution's. Not just Muslim gangs the elites were more sophisticated and had access to vulnerable children.
Every area affected by this under Labour leadership. Weird

Using so called threats as a way to deter from the fact that they let this happen is the labour way. Labour out NOW, Jess and Keir belong in prison
How do you work that one out!
Labour where not in power during the time in question. They are now dealing with the incompetent mess the Tories left during 14 years. Explain yourself.

Labour are truly disgusting. This really is the last straw.
Labour have truly proved themselves incompetent.
An enquiry completely independent of the government needs to happen.
@@fil9982 already had one, what did the Torries do....nothing
@michealridgway7607 hold them all to account Labour, Conservative, CPS, police I don't care.
This is an utterly despicable crime and as a society if we leave any stones unturned it will be a stain on our society. The current enquiry has left many questions.
Conservatives have admitted action should have been taken which of course does not absolve them but at least shows a willingness to shine a light on this, why Labour (and certain Labour supporters) are supporting pedophiles is beyond me. As a Labour supporter (potentially an x Labour supporter now) I can only come to the conclusion that Labour are more keen to trade votes than to protect vulnerable children which is grotesque.
Maybe she should slate the rape gangs rather than covering them up
NHS queue jumping Jess thinks she did nothing wrong.
Because that's exactly what she did.Nothing.
Shame on her.
Odd title?
Jess philips slates the Tories condemnation of abuse?
WE need a National Public Enquiry that can genuinely investigate those police who ignored the victims, local enquiries can be manipulated, and pass responsibilities on to others, so only a full national enquiry will do.
I’d like to see you discuss this with Maggie Oliver publicly, she will put you straight and who let the children down.
Tommy pointed the corruption out too but ignored ..
labour has only now addressed this due to Elon musk calling it out.
I just pray you follow this through with action and justice.
The prisons are full?
What do you mean "only now" Andy Burnham ordered an inquiry in Oldham, Manchester and Rochdale years ago. It even resulted in new criminal investigations.
But what do facts matter?
.... this happened before labour was in power and was only brought up because of Kier Starmers' time in the CPS.
He did his part in trying to prosecute as many of those disgusting monsters as possible. A lie spreads faster than the truth. He isn't the reason why jimmy Saville got away with it for so long.
Misinformation is very easy to spread, especially with bots doubling down on the rhetoric.
Elon musk should stay the fuck out of politics.
@@Angel-j8e Tommy nearly collapsed a trial which would have set perpetrators free, he doesn’t give a monkey about victims. And unfortunately Maggie Oliver has after helping victims drank the far right cool aid. her last statements actually don’t make any kind of specific claims about Starmer’s conduct prosecuting gangs at all, that’s just been added by right media.. interesting that
So then get Tommy Robinson out of jail !!
Labour should be ashamed of themselves remember all this was done in labour run council areas .. no wonder people want a inquiry and labour dont .. anyone who calls this out they then call far right .. because thats all labour can do how about the tweet mo labour naz shah tweeted about these poor girls saying they should keep quiet for the sake of race relations.. labour through and through we don't want to lose the Muslim vote .. thankfully only a minority are at fault but im sure Muslims would like a public inquiry at least the decent people would!!!!!!
Tories could have held a national enquiry and they didn't. They didn't push through with any of the recommendations in the report. And you still blame Labour. Are you already forgetting that it was last year that race riots happened where Muslims and BAME and migrants were abused and attacked when they did nothing wrong? Stop reading GB News. Why do you love the Tories?
Exactly lefties think conservatives....
Labour run councillors
The worst case was never in Muslim areas it was in a predominately White area in a institution run by the state and covered up by the police. The elite want people like you to divide so they can rule.
Enquiry was completed in 2022
@pmyumjr not into all of the places that grooming happened or is still happening to why people have said this needs a proper enquiry not a selective one which was just done
This statement was by Yvette Cooper. I'm not sure Jess Phillips holding up a 'zero' hand sign is classed as slating.
Gordon brown started the cover up and so it continues
How so?
Labour also won’t do anything about this issue…hope I’m proven wrong.
Guess you didn’t watch the video where Yvette lays out exactly what they are doing. If you can’t be bothered to pay attention, keep your gob shut.
@ don’t be rude thank you, can’t blame people for having no trust in politicians, at this point it is only words but we will see…
Strange how all this happened in Labour areas and they never thought to do anything about it.
🤔
Mr can you give me the source for that information?
@ I can’t post links because TH-cam deletes them.
But there’s a map of about 50 towns and cities (all Labour) available where it all happened and the fact Labour are refusing an investigation. What more evidence do you need?
