When my bhx2500 started bogging I just re-gapped the valves and that fixed it. So now I check the valve lash every Spring. Set it at 0.15mm or 0.006” on both sides when cold.

Hi there. When following your video I accidentally broke the choke gears by overtightening the screws. Is it okay to always leave the valve open considering the choke lever no longer works?

Big thumbs-up! You pulled through for me once again! Your older video where you changed a Tucumseh carb for an auger was the ticket for me. I bought the same cab replacement kit that you recommended and it worked well. It was a PITA to initially get it running correctly but after a few choice words, I was able to make correct adjustments to get the auger running but it smoked like hell-o. I never resolved the excessive smoking but the auger ran nice and strong. I guess the carb was running rich thus smoked like a damn diesel engine, ha 🤣. Anyways, thanks for your very informative videos. You keep bailing me out of costly repairs. Full-watch and have a fine week, my friend.👍🏽🤠 7/12/23

That's a four stroke engine, right? That fuel looked mixed.
