If you look at guys who have crazy verticals, they may have skinny lower legs but they have VERY big glute muscles. Unfortunately, you have to stare at their ass through their shorts to see it, so be careful about who's watching you do it.

i see what your saying, the majority of the vertical jump videos i've seen on youtube are with bent legs, so i got confused. i completely forgot they have to be straight legged. Is there a specific name for it then? and would you be able to estimate a vertical leap from a bent legged vertical?

we have WORLD ESKIMO-INDIAN OLYMPICS. and it IS offical records for kicking with one foot at 9ft 8in. thats in competition. there have been others to have gotten 10ft 4in. cuz us native rock like that! now in my video i kicked 8ft. but the way we do it is, we have to kick a ball suspended in the air. not some crazy kick with a board
hes talking about his running vertical... and hes 33 now he may not have a 56" vert now but maybe when he was younger and the clips when he has his afro he could fly over 50 when hes kicking as high as he can he has to get his leg up there as well as jump as high as possible... so don't expect that to be his maximum jump
