I know I've said this before, but it deserves a replay. You are a fantastic teacher!! Your explanations are clear and concise, making the process youre showing us possible, even when new to it. You are very talented, both at cake decorating and designing, and at teaching the knowledge and techniques. If you would, I'd love to see Stock or Sweet Pea flowers. Thanks so much for sharing. Great video!
Thank you so much, this means so much to me to read. I am just so pleased you enjoy the tutorials and find them easy to follow along. Also thank you for your suggestion, stocks and sweet peas always look so pretty x x
I love this one video. never knew how to make lilacsZ. They are such a wonderful spring flower. I had learned to make flowers with either buttercream or with meringue. Any flower you think of would be wonderful to see how to make with gum paste. It’s so wonderful that you make it so easy for us to do this with minimal tools. 🙂🙂
Hii.i was the first one to request. As you knw tht i m big big follower of yours. I made so nany edible roses from your tutorial. And its loved by all. Thnk u so much for taking my request into consideration.
Beautifully done as always. They are so gorgeous and realistic looking. You did such a great job demonstrating every stage. You are a natural born teacher. And you know I love the color and shading. When making these what is the difference between using fondant vs. sugar paste vs. gum paste? I just want to do you justice when I try to make them. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜
As far as I know sugar paste and fondant are the same. Gum paste however gets really hard and dries faster than fondant. You can also roll it out thiner, so it's perfect for making flowers. But you could also add tylose powder to fondant to make it dry out faster and harder. Hope that helps a bit.😊
Could you show us how to make decorative chocolate curls to drop on the cake or cupcakes? I saw someone take chocolate and draw a butterfly with it and it was supposed to harden and I could use as a topper but it didn’t work. Maybe you could show us?

So gorgeous! Thank you ❤ have you got any tutorials on how to make hollyhocks? New subscriber 😀
Lovely flowers, i would like to see some ponies.
Excellent tutorial, many thanks 😊 when you have wrapped the wires in florist tape, can you stick directly into your cake?
Hi Margot, Once you've wrapped them in floral tape you want to inset them into a flower pic before adding them into the cake.
