I have been all over the Internet looking for this tutorial and soon as I stopped and got ready for bed this popped up,,, i .mean what are the odds,,, so tomorrow I finish the MacBook Air and all thanks go to you 👍👍😁😁🙌🙌
Found this out the hard way, the error you got at 5:55 is due to your time being incorrect. Cancel out of the install, click utilities then terminal. Type date then press return/enter. You'll notice your time and date is way off. You can correct the time on terminal using the date command. This saved me from the trouble you went through. Hope this helps someone else too
Pretty smart. Now if I may. I have a Mac 7.1 running Mac os El Capitan. Formatted the hard drive. During online installation says "a required download missing" any tips kindly
Yes guys it works on 2012 macbook pros A1298 w/ cd room Just do the internet recovery, it takes about 15 minutes and you get a copy of it downloaded from apple servers.
I have tried this with a usb stick and a sd card. I got to the point of rebooting my MacBook. When I power it on holding the Option button it just starts and doesn’t recognize either the USB/SD. 2010 MacBook Pro, new 1TB SSD currently running High Sierra on the old drive and it’s super slow. Any help is appreciated! TIA!
Actually it's super easy if only you do the internet recovery option, takes me about 15 mins to download and wala I have a copy downloaded to my new ssds on every macbook I buy and download
Hello! I’ve created bootable usb stick and for some reason, it’s not visible during the boot. I can see this in the disk utility, but not during booting. I did all the steps. Any help pls?
