I don't know, to me all of their music is most STARSET, each of their songs are uniquely crafted, but each give a certain undeniable vibe that is basically only one they can replicate, thats my honest opinion though lol
I can't even think about this song without crying. This album is a no skip, all fucking golden piece of work. Please never stop making music, unless the story gets finished.
@@BradyBaseball13 To explain it short: STARSET is more than a "normal band", they've created a whole cinematic universe with a lore, or background story behind it, their albums are concept albums you could say, they're trying to warn us also about what happens when today's and future technology will be misused by a few... I agree with the others. I first heard them when they were touring with Breaking Benjamin for their Transmissions album and I fell hard and fast. Enjoy the journey! They're fantastic. 😊😊😊
I know this song is about seperation and moving on from someone that was cherished prior, but this hit me more than I thought it would. Because that love can be the same with yourself, where you missed what was once a fairly simple and blissful life, but now you have to move on in a constant struggle to keep yourself afloat while finding a purpose, the only thing strong enough to fill that haunting void.
Hello man, I found you again jeje, I’ve seen that this song hits you different, and honestly, is one of my favorites of the album right now, it has grown on me more than I thought too
I feel you. This song touched me because I'm still getting over someone I used to love a lot, she was my first love and it's weird leaving her behind cause she was so important to me but she one day just changed and now she hate me... Is hard going when she is not by my side cause she was my inspiration but I guess if I really love her it's better for the two of us just leaving her behind. I'll be waiting for her forever even if she never forgive me and don't talk to me again in the future...
@@tsumutsumu7218 I felt just like you did once. Though that was a long time ago. Eventually I moved on, but it's strange, because I don't feel like the same person I was anymore either. Eventually I changed too. I don't love them, but I don't really love anyone. That's why that line in the song really hits me - "the death of emotion" I hope you're feeling a lot better now, and that you're not still waiting. It's a big world out there, don't waste your precious time on someone who doesn't value you.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention this, so I’ll say it myself: I think it’s very cool that, as a song that references either a metaphorical or literal death, the video uses abstract triangles/ wings as its header (most STARSET songs nowadays have image headers but shhh). The wings even flap once (shown as the two triangles merging) before taking off. Other than that, it’s beautiful. There’s almost an apathetic, slow tone to the track, befitting of someone unprepared to continue after such a tragedy, but keeps enough energy to denote struggle. With such good music I can only hope the band is taking enough breaks. Mental health is important! Don’t sacrifice yourselves for a product!
I've seen many be disappointed of how heavy the song starts only to soften after the guitar riff, but i think it expresses well the emotion the song conveys. Also, it was, in my opinion, nicely paired with Disappear, as in that song the primary feeling is grief after losing someone and the wish to cease to exist because of the pain. Then TEE follows with the heavy guitar riff in the beginning, which for me means the frustration stage in grieving, then followed by reflection and, finally, acceptance.
After cycling so many times, the Four Specialists increasingly feel the aftereffect of this song. In terms of melody, the "oh oh" part of the chorus is unusually low pitched, coupled with the 4163 trend, which sounds a sense of desolation and relief (without careful lyrics). Listening to it, there is an inexplicable feeling of returning to the late night cycle of the second expert, tears welling up
What stands out the most to me is obviously the pre-chorus/bridge, and the unique string action. I don't think that there's another hard-hitting Rock song that incorporates such hauntingly beautiful sounding strings, reminiscent of the wind and cracking doors.
It definitely is the most underrated track on the album for now, let's just hope it gets the popularity it deserves. This is the best from this album along with Icarus, Devolution and Something Wicked.

Damn, hitting a nerve here. Having discovered Starset with their debut album, I remember thinking what an utter shame it would be if they disappeared after that. Vessels not only alleviated my fear of Starset disappearing, but it proved that they were able to refine a style I had fallen in love with even further. I don't think I was ever this excited and euphoric about an album release, ever again.
