I absolutely love Starset. So good taste! However, Starset is not metal at their absolute heaviest, and this is far from that. With that said, the way they blend styles is amazing, I agree.

You know, September 13th was the day my grandma passed and I was hoping to have something to turn it into a happy day, not a sad day, and between my absolute favorite band ever releasing the rest of the new album and having an actual first date planned I think it'll be a great day 😊 (and no I've never been on a date before)

Okay, I don't even know how to explain this, but I struggle with sensory issues, migraines, and depersonalization (usually as a reflexive response to sensory and/or emotional overload), and Starset's songs help with all of the above. They ground me, ease headaches, and help me think straight. How? I don't know, but I'm not about to mess with this system. [EDIT] All that to say, I feel like this track is going to become another go-to for grounding.

New tool is good. Is it lateralus or aenima, no. They're huge fans (esp danny) of king crimson. The new album (imo) is a step away from heavy, and instead in that direction. Give it a try

Literally woke and saw the had the new album out and started listening to straight through.
I love how the "You take take the pain away" bridge is in a 7/4 measure, it makes it feel incomplete and rushed in comparison to a 4/4, like at the last beat you're always pushed into the next phrase before it's actually time to do it.

Just finished listening to all of their music, my favourite track so far is 'Where the Skies End' and 'Faultline'!!! It was fun headbanging to their songs and hopefully more people will listen to the band one day.
You shouldve been there in the beginning, starset used to be really small (well obviously), theyre definetly already heading in that direction, but why dont you just recommend some of your friends starset? :)
