Goodness, goosebumps. What a preformance. I came here after listening to the recent Coldplay Xtra interview with Chris Martin and Jonny. They mentioned that Will wanted this song on the setlist. I heard it in live in Arizona November 26th 2008 (TH-camr, `breanchu` posted a video of the audio from it). Tonely it felt less serious, I recall Chris mentioning the town/state of the venue and incorporating into the song. I always viewed this song as a serious type song so it was a surprise back then when they messed with the lyrics. I feel it can't compare to this version. Maybe its the use of lighting onstage but I felt incredibly moved my this preformance. Thanks so much.

Even though it is Music of the Spheres (and I don't really like much of that album apart from Infinty Sign and Coloratura) they play a lot of their classic tracks like Yellow, Clocks, and Fix You. Politik was the opening track on Rush of Blood to The Head. Love the chord progression during the bridge section. Love the ending, straight to In My Place.

In my experience there. Doors opened around 5pm, there were two previous acts, the second of which was already quite famous (London Grammar) so people weren't leaving their spots as often to go and buy stuff etc. Then Coldolay began at around 8:30pm and lasted for about two hours. I hope you have a wonderful time too.
It was exactly the same at hampden a few weeks later with the fans.🙈🤷🏼♂️🤣 A great song to hear them play live again though, 🤔 providing you know it.🤣🤗🙌🏴
He doesnt have the same energy and force in his voice anymore... it pains me to see them grow old... what an amazing song, their 2003 perfomance of this song is one of the most powerful perfomances of any song ever...
