@@DoomNerd67200 At such an age..and after changing to a domestique role in jumbo visma...he wasn't given the opportunity to go full gas on TTs so that he saves his energy for the gc leader in grand tours. And the man did his job right through. always at the front of the peloton on the flats. sometimes even halfway up mountains. None of this sounds disappointing in any way
imagine Eddy Merx giving you an award and meeting him in person! they must be thrilled to be on the same stage as him. if it were me up there, i would be shaking to meet the man.

well, where's Tony's visor when he finished? he start with visor & finish without it😂😂 Anyway, Congratulation Tony Martin!
They had this retractable visor that you can hide into helmet when not needed. It will slide into the interior of their helmet so no worry on aero dynamic.
In an event where aero and time is everything, why have a beard?
Beard have the potential to smooth air-flow, thus making the rider more aerodynamic. It's been proven in the wind tunnel. No joke.
