Set to Mack Wilberg’s stirring arrangement of the traditional Irish carol "The Wexford Carol,” the video alludes to imagery found in the trilogy of parables found in Luke 15; the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost or prodigal son.

Christmas Concert 2015
Love Love Love this video! The music is beautiful. The video makes me cry. Stirs my soul. I come back to this every year. "God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son"
BEAUTIFUL !! NOT A DRY EYE ! FROM, U.K. (2023).
I love how the video weaves the parables of the lost sheep, the piece of silver and the prodigal son all into one. Beautiful!
wish my 2 daughters who are both out of the home, and cannot stand each other would watch this video.
Time could help. Members of my family held grudges for decades but finally reconciled. There’s always hope.
All we can do is continue to love them and have hope and pray for them.
Wonderful music and video. Thank you.
I have to watch videos like this every so often. the world is a cold place and stuff like this helps to remind me what I am not doing. It also helps me to get on my knees and ask God to help me to be a better person and love others no matter what.
I don't know what this church of yours is really about... but your versions of christmas songs is just magical!!! Thank you!
This video is so appropriate to the Christmas season. This is why Jesus was born. To love, to forgive, to share. Beautifully done.
I’ve heard a few versions of this Celtic carol but to hear the Tabernacle Choir’s version brought me immense shivers, almost to the point of crying. So hauntingly beautiful and powerful!
My Irish heart was almost split in two as I recalled painful relationships, loss and yet the beauty of this version of that ancient Irish Carol had raised my spirit and encourages compassion and love.
couldn't keep my tears from falling.
Me neither!
The world needs this more than ever. I pray that the world will no longer seek to be divided but that we can come together through forgiveness and love. Great message and powerful music. What an incredible work of art. Thank You for putting this together.
The Carol is amazing, and it's hard to credit I only found it at Christmas 2018, having managed without it for so long. Surprisingly - given the separate subject matter - the film is a superb complement. And I amaze myself by NOT finding it over-slick and slushy at all, but rather supremely fundamental and meaningful and well-done. Cannot therefore manage this without a tear, and rightly so. Those Bible stories have their eternal power, and THANK GOD for that!
Beautiful Video ! The Wexford Carol, Beautifully Performed. Thank You For The Glorious Christmas Music, Mormon Tabernacle Choir ! 🎶
I didn't recognize all the symbols of Jesus's parables until my third time watching. Just beautiful!
This is a beautiful work of art. Thank you to all who were involved with it and thank you to our Savior for finding all who are lost and bringing them home!
Amen and Amen
Seek reconciliation, for life in this world is short, for our good God sent a blessed Messiah.....sweet Jesus Lord!
I really like how they worked the parable of the lost sheep and the lost coin into the beginning. :)
Don't forget the prodigal son.
The true meaning of Christmas.
These videos you do, that tell a story with the choir singing, are some of the most powerful and inspirational ones out there. Thank you, and please continue to do more!
When you experience the restoration of relationships from humbled hearts, then you truly will understand the meaning of “sweet Jesus” as proclaimed in the lyrics. Amen.
This hit me so hard. I love this song and the verse at the end.
Beautiful Irish carol !!
November 2020. Beautiful!
Precious. Thank you for this beautiful music and video. I love them. You captured the spirit of Christmas.
OK. Now I'm crying. Beautiful.
Hauntingly beautiful
I love the meaning to this video, especially the verse from Matthew 18:11.
Beautiful arrangement and inpiring words and video. Ive listened to it many times and just love it.
Perfect! I'm teaching the parable of the prodigal son tomorrow in Seminary and this is perfect!
Today was the first day of summer. Nevertheless, this video and messages are timeless. Very heart warming.
I love all the images !!! I think the purpose of the "American Dream" is to make those of us who don't have it feel bad about ourselves. This video is just gorgeous. Thanks!
Absolutely Beautiful!
I can't remember hearing any piece of music that affected me so deeply.
It's the film too. Paradoxically, the Prodigal Son does not really match with the Christmas story, except that it does. The Holy Spirit knows exactly what it is doing...
Have to appreciate all the work that goes into something like this. "Fantastic" is an understatement... Thumbs up!
Yet again, another wonderful video!
That little family with the two kids. They are my cousins!
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me
Beautiful
Beautiful Carol 😊 love this thank you ❤
What a World of Wonder this World Could Be, Glorious
Indeed, there is nothing more wondrous, more dignified, more manly, more human, more Godly, more paradise-like, than healing forgiveness and reconciliation. To take the step of love when every fibre of your being is telling you to keep going that conflict buried so deep, and so very JUSTIFIED and so very logically argued. What a miracle, then, when the Spirit comes down to us and teaches us how to overcome and get past ourselves. To at last let go of that screwed-up inner ball of sinful anger and resentment that has built the biggest edifice in our life and has become our reason and justification for being. It can be done - by you and I, by the leaders of the world, by all who hate and resent and are jealous. The way was shown to us, and is shown again so eloquently in this film - all we have to do is follow...
Love it.
So so so awesome!
Very touching. Thank you for sharing this.
Not watching the video - too enraptured in the exquisite beauty of the choir's rendition of this most beautiful Christmas hymn.
Love it! Thanks for sharing the really nice message of love. God bless you!
Beautiful !!
The prodigal son.
Beautiful
Tissue alert!
Thank you.
2/3 of a portion of a pie...I never caught that the first time I watched this. His inheritance if he were the older brother of 2 in ancient Israel.
And the brother had to buy pie because he'd already "spent" his. Wow.
Men... I'm thinking about my brother now.

Yes indeed.
We can do it.
wooooow que emocionante
Muito emocionantes !!!
At the end when the dad comes out to the older brother, the brother is eating .... humble pie.😆
Also it's only missing a single piece to contrast with the single piece the younger brother ate at the beginning.
Get your tissue ready.
Lovely! Wish there was a way to download video to show in SS class!
Can you bring your laptop to church and play it? if your ward has wifi?

Is that the guy from Board Shorts?
Try listen to Libera version of this song.
How
Thanks be to God, of course. You don't have to be a Mormon (I'm not). This music and message is for everyone, as is the Paraclete.
I think I would have been prettier if it were in Irish
