My mom died two years ago today. She said if you ever felt spiritually dry, buy a new Bible. It’s the easiest and exciting way to get back in the word. Even a study or book would help!

I work from home full time with both kids at home 24/7. I work really hard to be present, work, being a good wife, mother, make sure the house is in good condition for everyone. It feels good to hear someone acknowledge how hard that can be. I am blessed to be at home with my babies though
A prayer request I have is for my grandparents. One is in rehab from a broken and replaced hip, and now heart problems. And one just got back home from having a stent put into an artery near his heart (I think) and he’s at home doing really good! But on March 5th, he’s having another procedure done. I’m not 100% sure what that is going to consist of but praying for my grandma, we call her Nana, to know that food is fuel and that she needs to eat (because she’s having trouble with that too) to be able to get out of rehab and back at home safe and sound. And for my grandpa, we call him Papaw, to have a safe and easy surgery done on the 5th. Thank y’all so much to whoever reads this ❤ Jesus loves y’all!!
I have 4 kids, 17,15,12,10 and I want to just hug you! I can completely relate to your feelings of overthinking every single parenting moment and decision. BUT, the best thing God reminded me and continues to remind me is that it's a good thing that He loves our babies even more than us. We aren't perfect and He fills the gaps where we can't possibly be. Your babies will know you love them just like your parents weren't perfect, but you know they love you. What makes you who you are today is part of how you were raised but mostly b/c of who God is!! Trust Him to guide you thru each moment and love your babies, even when you fall short. ❤ You got this!!!! I'm almost 40 and I'm still learning. Lol
Could you please pray for me to be able to fully open my heart to God and invite Jesus in for a relationship. It’s something I’ve been struggling with lately and have been trying to really build a bond with God. But I didn’t grow up religious and it’s harder for me to really see what a life with Him in charge would be like.

All it takes is a “ mustard seed “ of faith ! It can be hard because He’s not physically responding when we talk to Him , but just have talks with Him ! We are His children and He loves when we come to Him ❤️
Once you make a commitment to faith, you will feel a sense of peace. Prayer can take the form of letting go of your problems mentally. Most of what we worry about never happens; the rest we can deal with by taking action. The Holy Spirit can be seen as you tuning into your subconscious mind. Any problem you let go of will be answered by you feeling at peace a few days later by the solution that springs to mind from your subconscious ❤

I was pregnant & going through postpartum the majority of 2023 up to now. Devin, you had said something about hoping that maybe a first time mom out there that was in the thick of it would benefit from hearing you share your story. I just want you to know how much your channel helped me through my entire pregnancy alone, & the journey of navigating PPD. The light the radiates from you, the way y’all are with each other, your presence was just so calming & almost comforting during that time. Your videos & your family played such a huge reason in me not feeling quite so alone, and definitely brought light & joy to my day everyday. They still do. When I’m in a spiritual dry season, I journal as a prayer to God and just let it all out and literally ask Him to help me and plant a seed in me of wanting to seek Him, wanting to read His word, wanting to pray because I don’t want it to feel like another CHORE, I want it to be a genuine relationship with him. So journaling, listening to worship music, and getting in the word regardless of my feelings

One of my favorite scriptures is 2 Corinthians 12:9 which reads “”And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.“
As a mom this verse stands out so much! Often times I fall into feeling like I’m not enough or not doing enough. But then this verse reminds me that it’s in those times when I can look for God and he will be there to bridge the gap!
I am a silent watcher haha. Always have been and was so excited when you announced a podcast. I have been watching over the last several weeks and have just really loved listening to yours and Hunters Convo’s as well as the others you have brought on about where they are at in their walk with God. Your comment about 35 minutes in about how God put time in place is so refreshing. I am a Sabbath keeper of Gods 7th day Sabbath. From Genesis all the way to the end of the Bible we have proof of Gods Holy Sabbath being kept as He commands us! Just thought would point this out as it was so nice to hear you say something that links God back to something Holy that he took the time out to create for man. Something that so many tend to look over. Also you will find His Sabbath day gives so much peace and much needed rest when surrendered too! I live a busy life as I have 3 children that all play sports, I help manage a family business, and try my best to be a Godly wife as I was called to be. It’s easy to find ourselves being pulled into the busyness of the world each and every week. If you find the time study up on what God has to say about His Sabbath Day. The much needed weekly rest and restoration He has created for us!

If I am feeling "spiritually dry," it helps me to reset by acknowledging that I haven't been putting my faith first. I know that I personally have to begin everyday in prayer and in the Word. Even if it's a few minutes of prayer and one verse...I also have devotion partners who consistently do devotions with me on the Bible app. ❤️

My husband and I also experienced a miscarriage on New Year’s Day of this year. We have one beautiful and healthy little boy that is almost three and are incredibly thankful for him, however, I found the miscarriage devastating. It definitely put me at the feet of Jesus which is the safest place to be. I am currently pregnant again, very early on, and would be so thankful for prayers of health over all the members of my family and especially my little boy and the tiny blueberry I’m praying has a heartbeat in my belly!

My prayer request would be a safe pregnancy and delivery for me and my baby. We are about the same when it comes to due dat I think. I am due July 10th with my first baby, and it's a boy.
