@the3piclion how far are you into the game progression wise? Going for a pvp curse before any of the others is definitely not impossible, but usually most people go for the other curses before going for skeleton or ghost curse. As someone who has grinded for the skeleton curse and has it, i can say it is a very painful endeavour which (even for an experienced double gunner) was full of agony and bs which may cause you to stop playing the game for a while if you aren’t well versed in combat. Every two fights you’ll play against a complete overmatch (mainly tsds or pvp curses) and about 1 in 20 is a fight you shouldn’t lose. So if you’re really dedicated, sure go for about 150 wins in pvp but i recommend considering getting these much easier curses first.
@@KirBYEonyt I also have the curse and yea it was a pain. The other thing that got me really discouraged is the amount of toxicity in the game. It's OK to sink however it's not ok to yell a slur or tell them to off themselves. Sure you will come across and I just got ensainly unlucky to fight these people all the time
Sunken curse is great for a lorehound like me. I enjoyed reading all the journals (with wiki help, of course), getting all the lore behind the sirens, and then I got to take my friends on a cool random journey and get them a sweet curse!

While i love playing sea of theives i find watching someone else play it can be quite boring but your narration and the way you make your videos is just so entertaining

Just got my sunken curse tonight, motivated by this video. I did it solo sloop, had to sink 2 player ships to do so, luckily I have some hourglass experience so I'm not bad at PVP (Lvl 47, so not close to the pvp curse). I even took on a duo reaper sloop right before the final shrine, and wiped them out. First time taking on a duo while solo, so I was proud of that win, and it made me feel like I really earned my first curse.
This curse was easy to get but I never knew how to get it. After getting it I can say it was worth it to find. Also love your videos, keep up the good work.👍
Sunken Sorrow fits my pirate perfectly, and I absolutely loved the journey to unlocking it (I started from never touching a shrine and did it all solo). The story laid out by all the journals was really cool, the Sunken Kingdom areas all look amazing and are really fun to complete imo, and that last voyage to find all the keys was so fun, especially when I saw the final key and immediately knew where to go, even without reading the description. It felt like a victory lap to collect the keys and open that final door. I didn't personally find the ending anticlimactic because I was invested in the story, and seeing what is in that final room and reading the last journal was really cool, I actually gasped when I saw it lol. Also, The Shrine of Ancient Tears is genuienly my favorite area in the game, the vibes are immaculate.

I got some amazing drip for this curse like actually works so well. All I’m saying is if you have the wicked web set and the purple hair dye or some pieces of the pirate legend set it goes perfectly with this curse. My first curse ever I love it. Mostly cause I don’t have the other ones so shhhh

The voyage sends you to 2 random islands and 3 shrines. The shrines are always the same and the last one is used twice. It would have been a little better if the 3 key shrines were randomized between all the shrines. The code phrase at Liars Backbone is in the journal that you have to read for the curse. Once you realize the code phrase, you have to look at the walls for the equivalent skelly code.

I did it solo, one of more tense session I ever had. Sure is kinda easy but if you chest get stolen you back to square one. The pvp ones you can fail and that still advances your milestones.
I solo slooped the asher curse last week, it took me 9 hours and I started to hate the game a little bit, but because of that I got 20 hours playtime xD

Little bit of help for others that don't have friends to watch the ship or don't want to watch the ship. If you bring the chest with you down into the shrine, you don't have to worry about your ship. You can get the new ship and come back and pick up the chest that way nobody can steal your progress
I’m one path away from getting the ashen curse. Glad I’m not the only one who sucks at those puzzles/traps. 😅 I really want the sunken sorrows curse but aside from gathering the rest of the journals or joining a crew who already has the quest, you have to worry about someone coming and stealing that chest and putting you to square one… Biggest reason why I don’t have what I feel is the coolest curse in the game (next to the Guardian Ghost curse but I’m a long ways off from getting that)!
When I was playing with a friend earlier we just chilled on an island for a majority of the session because for some unknown reason, phantoms, skellies, and crawlers were spawning virtually nonstop, letting my friend quickly grind out deeds for killing mass amounts of them

It’s been two weeks since Cliff has uploaded. I’ve gained the habit of not eating and I haven’t been sleeping for the last few days. I’ve gained over 50 pounds since he last posted this video. I sit and linger as I am constantly refreshing awaiting a new video to pop up. My mother is constantly yelling at me to go outside and start running cross country again. I know the Sunken Sorrow Curse isn't popular but it was my first curse and felt proud that I managed to do it since I had bullies chasing me across the map and still did it.
Me and my friend found a cheese to the ashen curse, you can all die and choose the different paths to get the journals even if your whole team is dead. The chest is only required once so we did that last.
Just did the Sunken Sorrow Curse with some friends and we had to get all the journals, damn this took freaking long. Together with the Voyage it took us around 5 hours to complete.
Getting the Sunken Curse is superior because it moves you one step closer to getting the myth, the legend, the pure beauty, the most gorgeous shipset to ever sailed the Sea of Thieves - The Sunken Kingdom Shipset. Argue with the wall

I really wish they would add a way for players to get the skeleton and ghost curses without pvp, I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it but it's just a lot slower. I'm glad I bought the Dark Warsmith from the Pirate Emporium because it is genuinely just better than the curse but it could be cool to have both as unlocks
But pvp is literally the point of the curse. It adds a cool achievement if you see someone with it, and if you just made it available by pve, it wouldn’t be impressive anymore

Got insane idea, what if u would stack rage chests on bottom of your ship. Than make a lot of holes and wenn it begins to sink water will be evaporated due to chests of rage, u need multiple to have almost no delay for temperature to rise and constantly evaporate coming water
I remember when I tried getting the sunken curse and at the first try I almost was at the end but some guy came out of nowhere, sink my ship and took the chest. I had 2 other tries of trying to get the curse and I finally got it after 3 times. Like that was the most longest and most annoying thing I did but it was worth it xd
I believe the Sunken curse spawns ocean crawlers when you dig up the chest so it's not totally random. I think the Sunken curse is the best looking

I encountered the Ashen puzzle on complete accident while just sailing around! Shows you how immersive this game is!

if you actually pay attention to the heart of fire tall tale, you notice that it is actually sick, but most people just rush it.

Got insane idea, what if u would stack rage chests on bottom of your ship. Than make a lot of holes and wenn it begins to sink water will be evaporated due to chests of rage, u need multiple to have almost no delay for temperature to rise and constantly evaporate coming water
I remember when I tried getting the sunken curse and at the first try I almost was at the end but some guy came out of nowhere, sink my ship and took the chest. I had 2 other tries of trying to get the curse and I finally got it after 3 times. Like that was the most longest and most annoying thing I did but it was worth it xd
