Very happy to see that classic Bruce and Selina dynamic on screen, reminds me of Gotham or Batman year one, Colin Farrel looks amazing as Penguin to the point where you can’t even recognise him and I also like what they’re doing with Ridder. If you have time, "The Lighthouse" and "Good Time" both really convey Robert's range as an actor, which is very wide. He should have never been a type-cast heart-throb for 13 year olds.
There's nothing wrong with being a typecast heartthrob for 13-year-olds as long as it doesn't go on for too long. Look at DiCaprio. Same thing early on, ends up with an incredible career that's still got a lot left in it. This next year or so will be huge for Pattinson in terms of really breaking out of that in terms of the mainstream. Obviously he's done great stuff as you've mentioned in more indie movies but with Tenet and then this everyone will get a look at what the sparkly vampire boy has become.
The line “I am vengeance” is a nod to The Batman animated series where Batman squared off against the Scarecrow. It goes " I am vengeance! I am the night! I am Batman!”

Even if you aren't a Big Patterson fan check out some of the other movies he has done like "Remember Me" probably one of his best acting performances in my opinion. Ive been looking at some reactions to the trailer, just outta curiosity if people recognize the song. I was thrilled to detect the opening stark chords of Something in the Way open up this trailer. I could'nt believe it! The mournful tone of the song totally suits the darkness that the movie is portraying here,and the added instrumentation- the extra keyboards and percussion- really give the song itself a new sense of life. Id love to see people pick up on the song and see it soar in popularity again on account of the trailer. It would bring the band a whole new audience, especially people who just know the more popular songs.

Robert Pattinson is a very talented actor. You have to watch some of his more recent films to get a feel for his acting abilities: Good Time (2017), The Lighthouse (2019), Tenet (2020).
