As much as I absolutely adore this game, I've gotten overwhelmed and stuck in bottlenecks so many times it's gotten so frustrating. Absolutely looking forward to going back into it with a bit more understanding due to these videos
If not for my experience in Stardew, Factorio, Terraria and other resource management games, I don't think I would have lasted long with this one. Additionally, many quality of life improvements are needed to make the game less frustrating.
Agreed. I'm close to finishing the game storyline soon but there are points where things open up and i have and know what to do, then it turns into a "now what?", then it opens up again.
You are such a life saver. Your tutorials are very understandable and extremely helpful. A zombie/embalming tutorial would be such a help! I still can't figure out how to maximize zombies :(

I tried, I really did. I wanted to figure out everything in Graveyard Keeper for myself. But my lack of progress on alchemy was holding me back and I had to look outside of the game to find how it works. Thanks for this video. I don't like when games have core elements that can't be reasonably discovered in game. I've heard the term "Wiki game" used for games where there isn't enough info in game, and GK is definitely one of them. GK doesn't explain anything about alchemy (or most other systems), but I was able to figure out most of how it works. However, trial and error to discover recipes is awful. It didn't take long to realize that "goo" was the result of failure. This "mix until you find something valid" approach to alchemy worked in Morrowind back in 2004, but devs must know most players will just use the internet to find the valid combinations. There should be a more interesting method of learning the recipes. GK is fun, but I think the game's design is very awkward in a lot of areas.
i hope you update your tutorials because your explanation is so great and easy to understand. you're a lifesaver. auto sub. here are some tutorials that i suggest: money making (early/mid/endgame) where to find "infinite" resources church/graveyard autopsy/embalming/cremation ZOMBIEEEEEEES! where to buy every buyable stuff (also the base cost)/what every seller will buy from you essentials/tips in the game frontyard setup/suggestion also i dont recommend doing a tutorial for the game story coz it'll "ruin" the fun figuring it out. but that's just me. you do you. goodluck!

Zombie efficiency is essentially just a task of getting as many white skulls as possible, because red skulls don't negate their efficiency at all
