- It was a productive evening fishing the incoming tide at the Ocean City MD inlet. Not exactly the target species, but I did manage to catch a few larger sea bass that have made their way into the area.
Thanks as always for watching!

Bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work 😊
Yup. I didn't fish today, but I did go to work 😒
Thanks for another fishing video Jay!...Great content as always no matter the Bite!!! We will be down for a weekend in late November😃...If I see you at the Bulkhead I may just sit on You're bench and change my shoes!!!🤣🤣🤣
🤣 and don't forget to ask me 100 times if I caught anything!
Thanks for the fishing update buddy I will back down there next summer for sure
I was Tog fishing this past weekend. Crabs were the trick on the bulkhead. I was getting several 13" but my biggest was 15" i will try it again this weekend.
Thanks for the video!
Thanks! I was going to stop and get crabs too! But I was limited on time. Next time I'll be better prepared. You got some nice ones!
They were hungry!! lol Perfect way to spend a day. I'm envious. Too bad you have to endure the summer crowds.....but that's the trade-off. Enjoy Sunfest! Hoping to make it down for Winterfest.
The summer crowds aren't too bad....we just learn to do other things or go other places when the crowds are here. Winterfest is one of our favorites, can't wait to go this year and see whats different.
I wish I was still down there flounder fishing lol
I think it was the same sea bass. 😂😂
Felt like it! They were all clones...all the same size!
I fished the inlet during the cruse weekend. Caught lots of small sea bass and tog.
How big was the tog? I've had a few tog bites but haven't landed one yet this year.
About 12 inches.
The inlet closed for festivals? Wow that’s changed since I used to fish there with my boyfriend.
We fished by boat on the rocks, you’re land fishing. I was going to say what the heck? I bet my ex is out at the rocks lol.
Yeah that's the first time I've seen it closed for a month. Usually it's just a weekend here or there.
The water looks pretty. I know to some that would look dirty but that very clear. I miss going to the beach 😢
Crabs are a big problem stealing bait. They will even steal your gulp minnows.
Where do you park if you fish the inlet is it where all the meters are?
Yes, or when thr oceanic motel closes for the year I park over there.
@@ReelJayB do you know when their closed
@@larrysowada9905 no, sorry. I usually go to their website and see when they won't allow you to book anymore. I believe it's usually towards the end of October.
I believe oct. 23 is there last.@@larrysowada9905
Hey jay I am from saudi arabia and currently a college freshman, am planning on fishing in thanksgiving and I was considering MD, do you think fishing at november is any good where you are and if not, where do you recommend, I'd probably be doing the same kind of fishing you are doing in the video
Fishing is great in November. All around Ocean City near the inlet are great spots. Everything is based on water temperature which usually drops in mid December.
Another question, why don't you cast far? From what I can see there are only small fishes in that place but I don't think thats true, why not go for bigger fish?
In the spot I was in, the current runs pretty hard and there are a lot of rocks. If you can fast, you'll more than likely get snagged. I like to fish where the rocks are because those areas will hold fish. Check out my video tomorrow that comes out, you'll see some bigger fish.
How is it fishing if the 50 bridge? Do I need a license to fish on the pier? I forget how it works in Maryland.
50 bridge always has good action. You would need a license to fish there.
Question Jay, I am sltill confused on fishing laws. I know you need a license. But is it when your on a tourist boat or charter you don’t need one?
Correct. Charter boats you don't need one, they have a license that covers all onboard. The oceanic pier also does not require a license. There is also the 2nd-4th st bulkhead that doesn't require a license. All other areas you need a license. Even private boats, if they don't have a blanket license, you would be required to have one.
Thank you sir! You’re awesome.
Looked like you had a gorgeous day for fishing enjoy the fall fishing videos thanks for taking us along see Ya next video.
Thanks Chris! Next weeks fishing video is going to be a good one, I have to finish editing it but the fall bite had been great!
Looking forward it !!@@ReelJayB
Oh, by the way nice drone work! 👍
Hope I see you out fishing! Thank you for your service my friend. I appreciate you.
You sell sandfleas lmk asap
No sorry. Oceanic pier sells live ones, all tackle in west OC sells frozen ones.
Hey man, where's the best place to get a redfish at?
Off the beach or south jetty. I've seen a few puppy drum around oceanic pier too.
We don't get the big ones like in the bay by Crisfield.
Those sea bass seem like a pain in the ass huh?
The smaller ones are, the bigger ones are kind of fun sometimes. But for some reason they are THICK this year. Haven't seen them this bad.
@ReelJayB yeah that's all I see popping on ur lines....I want to see the trigger fish...never seen them b4! Was in town this past Friday was looking for u vlogging but no luck!
@@harold7017 I'm sure we'll run into eachother at some point! Friday/Saturday are my days I film, unless the weather is bad, then I'll be out Sundays. I can't wait for the tog to get here in full force!
