Thank you so much for this !! Since moving here year round wanted to get back in to fishing with friends and family and they love the fishing here this gives me good insight where to go and what’s going on much appreciated !
No problem at all. Good luck out there, hope you and your friends catch a whole bunch! If you could, check back with me and let me know what you catch. Thanks for watching!
Please do a video on what type of rigging is good for OC fishing. Also what type of rod and line and weight. I’ve been going to OC since 1968. My dad and I used to fish the old remaining part of the RR bridge right off of stinky beach back in the 70’s. We used to catch flounder all day long. Then we fished the Rt. 50 bridge at night. We also would rent a boat from a marina where Hoopers is now, I believe the marina was called Tommy’s back then where Hoopers is now those condos off to the right. We would drift fish the thorofare. So I haven’t fished OC in years. Please do a video on the basic pole and rigging for OC fishing now. Thank you.
I'll see what I can do. Usually any of my fishing videos I show the rigs I use. Hopefully you'll get to fish there soon....the bite is heating up fast!
good stuff...my profile image is me fishing behind the coast guard station back in 1978. my first fish ever was a sea robin directly behind the coast guard standing on a bulkhead in 1977.
just there yesterday (June 5th) nd didnt catch anything went to the actual fishing pier nd paid $8 caught nothing and then went to the oceanic bait shop nd paid $10 caught nothing....This definitely helped a lot. Thanks so much
I have, but never caught anything. The only reason I left it out of the video is because it's too shallow over there. If you want try it, best shot would be high tide and cast far. It's a great spot for some crabbing.
HA! We all know it as Stinky Beach. Old history behind it and why it's called that (commercial fisherman would clean their catch there). Great spot to fish! Another one of my favorites is the Coast Guard station.
@@ReelJayB I ahead never fished that spot before I usually go to the sea wall or the lay pier. Those guys pissed me off last year so it's mostly been the wall and sunset beach
@@ReelJayB it's been a rough year from shore, no keeper fluke only a few period. I'm headed out there next week, gonna fish early but I don't like the odds with that hurricane pushing water into the inlet
Swim baits bouncing them on the bottom. I've had success with penny color gulp shrimp too. If you fish the coast guard station, bounce it along the sea wall on the left. Good luck!
@@plugcheckout807 flounder can be caught there....you'll see boats drifting by trying to catch them. Best rig to use is the Fish In OC deadly double. Can be found at all the local tackle shops. Pair it with a 1oz or 2oz bank sinker and 4" white or pink gulp mullet.
For some reason everyone feels the need to follow too close or pay more attention to the water than the car in front of them. Did you hear about the accident about a month ago where the guy jumped off the bridge to save a child?
Very helpful! Thanks
I’ll definitely check these spots out.

Staying at the Cambria next week!!

Very cool! The Coast Guard station is one of my favorite spots.

Going to try this out right now I will get back to you hopefully with pics
Heck yeah! Good luck!
So I got a small flounder and some croakers. That was on the beach on the other side of the coast guard’s dock
The small personal beach where those big houses are.
Thanks for the video. I been looking for spots to fish at down there
If you catch anything, let me know! Thanks for watching.
This really helps I’ve been looking for video like this for a while. I’m going down in two weeks I’ll let you know if I caught anything!!

Hopefully you'll catch something on your next trip! Try fresh squid, that's usually my go to bait. Good luck!
Ever do any fishing behind the Convention Center?

Bro lol "stinky beach" that's my favorite spot in OC especially for Tog I have always referred to it as Sunset beach.

@@Delmarvafishing The sea wall is good, I like that spot. Fishing spots from land can be tough....not much room on busy weekends.

@@ReelJayB What seawall are you talking about? Off of which street?
Have you fished that new Cambria Hotel spot yet?
Yup! Tog and stripers. Trying to get flounder.
Any reason that you didn't mention the two main piers (Oceanic and Boardwalk) in Ocean City? Is it because they aren't free?
Correct.
@@ReelJayB Thanks. I just came across your channel and immediately subscribed.
@@cgvoxakis Thanks Chris! I really appreciate it!! If you try any of those spots, let me know if you catch anything!
What do you recommend for stripers in ocean city I might try the coast station spot

COAST STATION I CAUGHT. 22 lb flounder there
Nice!!! How many inches?
@@ReelJayB BEEN A LONG TIME AGO
Thanks guess I'm not going to them spots anymore
Huh? They are all common spots...
I’d like your video but a few videos before I saw your one was a lady crashing so I got a little nervous with you talking, Recording on two lane 90
