@@sameyeams Thank you! The William Shakespeare's Star Wars books were an inspiration, but I only had I and IV, and of course there is the popular conception how ye olde englishe is written. And of course, a lot of words made by Shakespeare are still in usage, even if some of them have become obscure. The world felt like it needed to be medievalized, and the word "Sith" is likely a reference to Cat Sidhe, so I used the contrast of christian civilization and pagan nature and mysticism that is all over Arthuriana. Unfortunately I could not make for a substitute for Darth Plagueis and the midichlorians. Too bad the word "Seidhe" turned out to be from Witcher. Oh well.
Of course, the first step was to copypaste the original dialogue, and merely to give it light touches. It's easy to do good work with such great source material.

Well battle over the croissant isn't actually 100% wrong because the croissant was made in Vienna to celebrate the victory over the Ottomans so it's only 99.998% inaccurate.
The best part was the opening sea battle where all the Galley's were shooting arrows at one another off the coast of the capital city. All the while Sir Kenobi and Sir Skywalker took a skiff to rescue the kidnaped Emperor from the clutches of Warlord Grievous!

*Middle English
Old English is more like Beowulf. It’s an entirely different language in itself, and not really something a modern English speaker will understand (unless they’re a scholar, and have learned it for scholarly purposes)
Middle English, what people are commenting in, is like late Medieval and Renaissance era King’s English (and therefore the early modern ancestor of modern Queen’s English). It is fairly easy to understand, provided you can get used to speaking and writing in iambic pentameter.

I forget the names of the forms specifically, but Obiwans was focused on defense and counters while Anakins was more about acrobatics and aggression
Honestly I imagined it to be more fitting because, this being medieval times, there obviously wouldnt be robotic prosthetics, so Anakin would in fact be one-handed, and therefore incapable of using a shield.

Basically Star Wars is just medieval times just in the future. Their is a reason why they are called Jed knights. In legends cannon Jedi used metal swords until the invention of the lightsaber.

Again, I appear to be the nitpicker of early modern English. It should be "not join them" in this case, as the Sith are inherently a plural noun (it is a group), thus thou shouldst use the second person plural (you/they/them) in reference to them, not the second person singular (thou/thy/thee).

I love the different tints in their blades that you put in, Kenobi's blade is much brighter while Anakin's blade is much darker, I thought that was a very subtle touch and I loved it

How awesome though, would it be for a Star Wars AU in a medieval-fantasy? Battle of Hoth in some sort of tundra, with weapons like trebuchets and battle rams instead of AT-ATs, the Force being a form of magic channeled by Knights of the light, and Paladins of the dark (Jedi and Sith). The Emperor being some sort of evil wizard, Vader being a scarred warrior wearing the armour to hide all of the injuries given by his original Knight master, etc. Grievous being some sort of resurrected abomination made by Count Dooku...fuck, that would be so god-damn awesome

The weapons they are holding in this artwork are incredibly fitting.
Obi-wan has a defensive style of fighting (Sword & Shield), while Anakin is more aggressive (Greatsword). Idk if it's intentional, but either way it's pretty neat.

I love the weapon choices for the characters here. The fighting style obi wan uses is very defensive, so the shield actually makes sense! While Anakin is all about that ATTACK
