  • My name is Ernst Wilhelm and I have decided, in light of my new course, PAC in Astrology to share some moments of an older course that I taught almost 8 years ago called "Lajjitaadi Avasthas - The Heart of Parashara" - which will serve as a basis for the understanding of this new course. You will find both courses and many many more by subscribing to my website at:
    www.astrology-videos.com/register
    In this video, we delve into the formation of the Lajjitaadi Avasthas, specifically focusing on the Lajjita Avastha, which refers to the ashamed state or condition of a planet. Shame is a troublesome emotion that can deeply affect an individual over time. It's important to understand that shame can manifest in various ways, including through shameful actions and wrongdoings. While it may not always result in severe external problems, it is always intensely felt by the person experiencing it.
    Join us as we explore how this painful avastha forms and its impact on individuals. We'll discuss how shame originates and why it tends to be deeply buried within a person. Discover more about this challenging aspect of astrology and gain insights into its effects.

    I have something similar but not equal in terms of planetary configuration. And I did lived shameful events. But i'm old. That happened until my first Saturn return. I also might have the other configuration too, because I found healing and health. Shame is a very difficult feeling indeed.

    I remember a line from the movie about the Shaolin Temple. The guy who had harressed the monks for years showed up, this time as a refugee searching for protection. Many of the monks wanted to take revenge, but the abbot - whatever that would be in a buddhist temple says something like: "He has been such a bad time that I wonder if he´s not close to a turn-around and about to become enlightened!"
    I have severe shaming in my chart and it has given me a hell of a ride in life. But it has also been a huge carrot for healing and spiritual work. Most times the extremely bad works in extremely bad ways, but it may also be the spring that you need to take a huge leap away from it. If you have shame in your chart and stop running away from it, but rather learn to embrace it, it may be a fantastic tool.

    Does this mean that there are only 4 planets that are capable of being shamed? As in, any planet that is not Sun, Saturn, or Mars, and therefore must be Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, and Moon? I have Saturn + Ketu in the 5th, and Rahu + Mars in the 11th. Does that qualify as shamed or is that something different?

    • @mattias5157
      @mattias5157 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      All the karakas - the physical planets from Sun to Saturn - can be shamed, also the cruel ones. The nodes can´t though. Saturn is shamed due to it´s conjunction in the 5th with Ketu. It´s the milder form of shaming though. There could be shaming going on due to shared lords, but from what I can see planets in the 5th and 11th never share lords. We are talking about the vedic system here, so whole houses, or rather the signs as "houses" in this case.

    • @Guard385
      @Guard385 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@mattias5157 Thank you for the thoughtful message! It is helpful to know the details surrounding the technicality of the avasthas as I have found them to be a bit more ambiguous and generalized in terms of what does and does not actually apply. Can I ask, what is the condition exactly in which the shared lords become applciable to lajjitadi avasthas? Does this mean that a planet can be shamed if its rasi shares the same lord as the sign in which Sun, Saturn, or Mars is also placed? My Saturn is in the 5th in Scorpio, and so does that mean that any planets in Aries are being shamed by extension?

    • @mattias5157
      @mattias5157 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@Guard385 I don´t think so when it comes to shaming due to being in the 5th house. When the nodes are involved, then yes. I don´t think this is mentioned in the classic texts though, it´s rather based on what Ernst discovered through his work on the Cards of Truth, I believe. In that system all the cusps and planets ruled by one planet are gathered at one place, and Ernst saw that there was no difference between being in the house or sharing lord. That is my understanding.

    Does the delighted avasta help fight against the shame with this avasta? My Moon & Mercury are both ashamed by the Sun in the 5th house of Cancer but they're also delighted when conjunct with the Sun. My moon has Shadbala strong enough to combat the shaming effects of the Sun but my Mercury doesn't... I don't know if the Shadbala is accurate though because I can't afford Kala software, so I use the default settings (with Tropical Ayanamsha) on Jagannatha Hora.

    I have a couple of questions. One is how do you calculate the # of the planet to see how shamed it is… I’m sorry I don’t know the name of what I’m trying to say.
    Second does a married man also get classified as psycho for sleeping around outside their marriage ?
    I have always suffered from guilt and shame, and I do have the sun in Aries conjunct Venus, but also Saturn the house starts out with Rahu and Mercury. I am the middle child of five and often felt stupid while speaking or trying to get my thoughts out. So I withdrew and that’s still my coping mechanism.

    • @mattias5157
      @mattias5157 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It´s based on ShadBala which takes a lot of calculation that is done by an astrology program having that function. One of the best on the market, if not the best, is the one that Ernst Wilhelm himself has developed together with his wife Srishta. Kala it´s called.
      And no, nor promiscuity nor infidelity are proves of being a psychopat, if that is what you mean but "psycho". On the contrary it´s a very normal behavior, even if the morality and sanity of it is questionable for obvious reasons.
      When you analize your chart, for this technique you must only considered full houses. So if you are an Aries ascendent, Aries is the first "house", or rather "rasi" as the vedic term is. Etc. Only conjunctions within the same signs for this technique, plus any other planet in another house sharing lord. Neptune, Uranus and Pluto don´t play any role for this technique neither. Scorpio is ruled by Mars, Aquarius by Saturn and Pisces by Jupiter.

      Basically in Shastras says any man who looks at other women with lust other than his wife is a paapi(sinner) . So yes cause these men are breaking the vows taken during marriage and it is cheating , betrayal of highest sorts.

      If the married man uses the women, he's a psycho, more correctly, a sociopath. However, if its not a use of them but a care and mutual benefit, then its not psycho behavior, there are other things going on, but its not the actions of a sociopath.

    If Sun is in Leo 12th house with Saturn 30’ away, is Sun shaming Saturn and/or is Saturn in chariot? And if Venus rx is there 6° away is she shamed by both? Does Saturn in joy in 12th cancel some shame? Also does Mercury dignified in Virgo neutralize some shame of Rahu within 2° there and Mars in Gemini within 4° square? Already I’ve seen some shame type events play out in this person’s life but more of a setup/bullying by others thus far… being passive to others intentions, not assertive, letting things slide.
