My favorite place, next to my granny's, for biscuits with chocolate gravy. Yum Yum! I can taste it now. We have loved every meal that we have eaten here. Always excellent food and service. Tappy bacon...lol...too cute!! Ya'll should capture and have printed, where Brett and Jennifer were sitting in those rockers. That would make a great framed print. Never heard of chocolate gravy but I did try red eye gravy, too salty for me.
Bought huge green tomatoes at a farmers market and my daughter bought a cornmeal green tomato mix at a famous Nashville restaurant.

If you get the chance to try chocolate gravy, we definitely recommend it. It's sweet and an interesting combination to have with biscuits. I think it was just someone's excuse to have chocolate for breakfast lol. You definitely can't pass up on some tappy bacon. How did your fried green tomatoes turn out? Our first visit there last year was terrible. Might have just been an unlucky time that morning, but eggs were cold, sent back, replacements were luke warm at best. Will probably give it another try when down again.

To me, it's very similar but the consistency is just a little different. The wait was 45 minutes but there were a lot of outdoor games to keep everyone occupied. Thank you, Carla. Breakfast is our favorite
We enjoy it too. We were hopeful to try some of their fried chicken to see how it compares to Mama’s Farmhouse Kitchen but we were pleasantly surprised by their breakfast. We hope that you guys are having a great weekend.

Everything looked delicious! The peach preserves looked so good. Would love to try them. The biscuits looked very soft. Loved Gentry's response to the cinnamon rolls. Next time it would be great if Brent would sing a little of Garth's Papa Loved Mama. 😆Another great video!
If you guys are ever in Gatlinburg, the best fried chicken we've ever tried is at Mama's Chicken Kitchen. Y'all should check it out. my sister used to make homemade biscuits and homemade chocolate gravy quite often unfortunetly she passed away on us of a stomach aneuryseum back in january she was only 48 years old

We are coming to the area in 3 weeks for the first time ever definitely going to try this place out. Is it all you can eat breakfast and do they have fries? My youngest is autistic and will only eat fries at restaurants
Hi @lindseylawrece7192 We didn't see fries as an available option on their breakfast or lunch menus. However, their sister restaurant (Mama's Chicken Kitchen) does serve up fries as an option. We hope that you and your family have an amazing trip and thanks for watching.

is strawberry butter (I realize the strawberry isn't in this show) similar to frozen strawberries and syrup at the grocery store?
Elena, yes it's very similar in texture/consistency but the syrup tastes much different.
Hopefully they have changed staff. When we were there all they did was sat across from us at a table wrapped silverware and bad mouthed managers and talked about bad customers.
