Bruce is issuing a revised version of his ruleset under the monker "absolute monarch", that seems right up your street! Looking forward to seeing how this battle report plays out
Don't mind me, just wondering if you'd be able to check out Horizon Wars: Midnight Dark and run its solo rules! It's a 6mm sci-fi/Battletech alternative. Very, very interesting shooting and defense mechanics. Been pining to set up my own table but I just haven't had time the past few weeks.
I'm not familiar with Midnight Dark - I remember hearing about Zero Dawn a few years back tho. Problem is that I don't have the 6mm figs necessary, so it would all be pen and paper. You think anyone would want to see that?
Initial Set up IMHO the Artillery should not be out on the extreme right Flank, open to Cavalry Charges, a Line infantry should have been out there and when the Cavalry came around they would form Square. It was Interesting but there should be a way to use morale to either get rid of the markers or when enough are accumulated they are routed.
Now that's an interesting idea - same order of battle, but hidden set-up would change the game. It would still be in the same tidy little puzzle package that I like, and create some interesting matchups on either flank. Good thinking!
Morning from SoCal!!! It's about 3 a.m. I should not be up 😴. Glad I am.

@@williamswargames Oh nice...I will keep an eye out for that
I love the itty bitty teeny tiny scale
Interesting little game.
systems that use simultaneous fire or defensive then offensive fire for these musket periods can make things interesting
First! Greetings from Poland
Working on my 2mm minis while listening. Got to finish that project.
Thank you sir. *Turns to the black powder fans* Lads! We have finally received some sustenance this day! 😅
