Kitzbühel FOOD TOUR to 'Hahnenkamm Stüberl' & 'Mocking das Wirtshaus' 🇦🇹 What to do in AUSTRIA

We experienced two very different sides of #Kitzbühel today!
We took the gondala up the mountain to visit the #HahnenkammStüberl , a traditional 'Hütte' where Lisi and Andreas gave us a warm and hearty welcome.
Lisi has been serving her guests for almost 50 years now and she's known for her delicious #Kaiserschmarrn and beautiful and positive personality.
A traditional and heart warming place.
We had such a wonderful experience there.
When we got down the mountain we visited the #MockingdasWirtshaus where we experienced a more contemporary version of the traditional 'Hütte'.
Martin & Andrea grow their own vegetables behind the restaurant and work with an open kitchen. You can see the team prepare contemporary versions of traditional dishes through a massive glass window. Transparency is very important for them. You can even book a table inside the kitchen so you can witness up close how your delicious meals are being prepared.
The contrast between the 2 restaurants couldn't be bigger but they both deliver a unique culinary experience.
Our hearts, souls and tummies were completely satisfied. 😋
