Duratect MRK on the case and bezel is NOT a coating. It's a surface treatment. The crown and caseback are Duratect TiC and that's also a surface treatment.
Absolutely stunning watch that is way too small and way too light. I’m not sure how tall people reviewing this watch are, because they all say it’s too big. This makes me laugh. It’s tiny!! It’s like a Lego watch. That being said, I’m a 6’7” 325lbs dude, so I like a big watch.
@@rollyjolly3076 Its super durable and scratch resistant unlike the mineral glass used in this piece which will scuff and scratch over time. The comment is fair seeing as Chinese watches under a $100 come with it these days.
I've read Citizen uses a specially hardened mineral crystal on their watches. The high crenelations on the bezel top should protect the crystal from most bumps. This particular uniquely shaped case also facilitates the use of two plain rubber O-rings 1 1/8" diameter from the hardware store ... which can be rolled around the watch's "shoulders" top and bottom horizontally for further protection from bumps. The O-rings cross the watch crystal from 11 o'clock to 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock to 5 o'clock.
Beleive me. No need of a saphir glass. The citizen glass will last without bad scratchs. Have been wearing mine (the black one) as a tool watch on daily base over the past 18 months. No problème at all. Confortable, accurate and so easy to read including under water. I highly recommande this watch.
The crystal is really deep in the watch, almost impossible to scratch. Also, replacing a crystal is just $50..... people make too much of this, really.
I have the camo blue dial and i love it. Its different and i love weird watch cases
Same same!
I just picked up one of these yesterday my local Costco had them in stock and I fell in love instantly what a wonderful watch and an excellent review
Thank you! It's such a comfortable watch and really stands out !
Great "unknown" piece! I never heard of this one until i came across your review!
Anddd that's exactly what I hoped! It's so rad, had to tell everyone!
I once lived in Atlanta, too. Cool watch!
Great review of a wonderful watch!
Such a cool piece !

I am not very educated on the matter(apologies), what's the difference?
Love it!!
Need it sooo badly
great
I like the watch as a divers tool. It is troubling that the sweep second hand doesn't line up with the seconds markings thus making it look cheap.

Holy shit!!!!
Mines on order.
are you sure the buckle is titanium, feels plastic on mine
Should have added a sapphire crystal for the price.
If it had a sapphire crystal, I would have purchased one… maybe next time.
What's a sapphire crystal for and why its important ?

@@harpomarx7777 you can simply buy a 29mm diameter screen protector in tempered glass from several sites. Cheap and you won’t notice it.

seiko solar diver 200m use hardlex crystal too....

Tool box of a diver, if I’m diving, I’m bringing an air integrated dive watch. Do you even know what your talking about?
