DUDE I cant even count how many times i've gotten wrecked by my team throwing molotovs at me or my frags bouncing off a teammate that ran right in front of me. Actually a great change

i tried doing the win 1 tournament yesterday. im not good at shooting but i at least know you win by doing the objetives. 3 games in a row my team was eliminated first round and i was the only one Who had something in the objetive puntuation column

Yeah it’s really harsh, I’ve been making videos for a while on who people should focus the objectives but I’m just too small of a creator to really improve much, I will say it has gotten a bit better but overall yeah it’s hard :(

Literally the only circuit challenges I knew about (and took an interest in) were the ones that got nerfed. Everything else I got by just playing and never looked at it.
I liked that I had to push myself a little to complete those.
I do play ranked but hadn't won in a bit (solo queue woes). The challenge made me focus up and get it done.
Yeah good point too, I think it changes when people solely focus on them, especially when they wait to see what they are before attempting to try them out
The main thing is the FPS so much better they just improved the performance

If you check the store, usually whenever it says the next shop update will be is the day of the next update. Hopefully that helps for telling when then next updates will be in the future :3

my battle pass rewards don’t show up in my inventory when i unlock it… i was trying to equip the defibrillator wire skin but it stayed locked

Can proudly say I finished the ranked tournament challenge before they changed it.
Everyone keeps saying that it’s the challenge set but it’s the challenger set which is completly different
Okay but me going into Ranked to get that challenge was fulfilling!
Fully solo queued, took a couple L’s due to bad randoms but when you get a run going ! Theres nothing better
It was an adrenaline rush of sorts and showed me that Ranked is the best mode See you in The Finals

For sure! It’s basically a perk that people get for being in the Discord community but I ordered really really good internet and it’s coming in June (not the commentator!) but when that happens I’ll stream waaay more

This game was so much fun when it first came out, but with all these updates it feels like a totally different game. I had hop that they wouldn't try to make it a "competitive" game for streamers but instead let it be light hearted and fun.... So I decided to try Apex again and its actually gotten a lot better now that it isnt so mainstream
Yeah honestly I’ve always said that this game is directed towards a casual one than a competitive one, but I will also say that there’s always going to be sweaty players in casual games. I don’t know about the catering to streamers etc because a few “top players” I know felt it was the opposite, and left the game. It’s in a weird place right now but I have full faith we will pull through so both sides benefit.

Well, I actually just completed that challenge win one tournament. ..ohhh well
I have been trying to unlock the “Win a tournament” challenge since it came out. I actually won a tournament while the challenge appeared and it didn’t count it because i was in the midst of a match which was so frustrating. Basically I needed to win 2 in order for it to register. Not kidding. After a gruelling week and a half, I finally won another tourney and got the achievement yesterday… just for them to remove it today😭😭😭😭
Yeah exactly this is why I’m not the biggest fan of them changing it ahha, you feel pretty proud of the achievement and then suddenly they switch it out lol

Imho I think the win tournament shouldn't even get to be in the challenger circuit but in the pro and master circuits are alright

I think it’s the MP5, but if you look at my old videos (CB2 - ranked needs to change) the XP-54 used to be iron sight so maybe it’s from that
It kinda hard not see the challenges as just weeklys like i don't want them to be hard but at the same time i don't care much but im going to do them all anyway

In oceana servers ranked mode pretty much doesn't exist so I'm kinda sad they removed the ranked requirement...
Yeah someone actually mentioned that it’s pretty impossible to find a queue in OCE or SA so I actually understand this change in that perspective

Yeah I think the 93R needs to do more damage at range too, it really struggles to pickup on advantages vs using the XP/M11 etc, same for the FAMAS, it’s just not that useful range wise since it’s burst
@THiiXY Agreed we need some gun balancing changes, straight up all they need to do is match up the 93r ttk to the m11 and xp, maybe increasing fire rate to match ttk woulf be the way to go Idk. A range change would be nice also.

Do you mean the fame points? I think they might do so by Season 3 honestly. I know it sucks but I think that this is more of a “test” season for their new algo but yeah that’s a topic in itself, a lot of things to talk about. Maybe I’ll make a video on it.

Still nothing from embark regarding players in the defib animation. It's basically an impenetrable piece of cover during the 3s it takes to bring them back, so fucking corny. Hopefully more people start abusing it so they might actually do something.
Sounds like someone got outplayed lol. But that's a good point, and I'm curious if that could be detrimental over time. Maybe have the reviving player not block bullets?
Ohhh was really it blocks bullets? Damn yeah I actually didn’t know that. I mean I will say that’s more of a “scenario bug” but you’re right it could be annoying even if it does happen randomly… I’ll do some tests and let them know!
Nobody was being "forced" to play ranked 😂
In the announcement for the playlist update, they stated unranked tournaments would be coming back. All people had to do was wait for unranked to come back if they didn't want to play ranked.
I can't believe people complained hard enough for them to change these challenges. Especially the 11 kills in 1 match. Seriously? Just play powershift. That's less than 1 kill per minute. These rewards aren't for challenges anymore, they're for participating.
I remember when people actually liked having cosmetics being unlockable from challenges. If you can't complete the challenge, you can't EARN the reward. Now you just have to kick and scream enough on the internet to convince the devs to give rewards away for basically nothing.
I hope the next stages of these circuits don't get watered down now. I'd like to see a cosmetic that's hard to get like some rewards in past Halo games.
Imagine being a developer and having to consider whether mtx cosmetics are safer than challenge rewards now. Embark won't get bad press for releasing another skin in the shop, but if they make challenges "too hard" they'll get bad press. It's insane.
Yeah I agree, as I said in the video this is more of a “challenge” if everything was super easy then overall people would just be bored. I think sometimes they need to put their foot down and be like “tough” but I do understand the ranked one.
Yeah that’s the whole point with the diamond skins, if you can make it to Diamond then you don’t get the rewards, but with the circuit it should be the same haha.
I do believe though that not everyone has the time to grind out this game compared to others, but still it should be a better balance which is challenging
@THiiXY If they didn't replace weeklies with circuits, I really don't think it would have been an issue. They shouldve just added weeklies back and said "there's your xp."

Ranked system is a mess
The win 1 tournament they shouldn't have taken out or made it easier. When I won my tournament it felt good, but what I will say I don't think this is due to skill but more so that their are so many cheaters in ranked and it really exposed the game and the cheating issue.
I’m not kidding, I rarely see cheaters so I have no idea where it’s coming from. Like in CS2 for example, that actually has a cheating problem but this game I see a cheater 1 in 100/200 matches…

The comments on not being able to win a single tourney say a lot about the skill level and nonchalant attitude of players in this game. I’ve soloed so far to plat as light this season and have had to hard carry most of my teammates. The amount of toxic trolls, brain dead players and skill issue teammates was far too frequent. Not trying to be mean but unless you have spent hundreds of hours playing causal mode and studied how to play ranked beforehand you are honestly wasting your own time and that of those who can actually play this game well. Please invest sometime in improving your individual game play before you put yourself in situations where you can’t contribute and are just a liability in ranked
It's a free to play game. I'm surprised they didn't lean more on the casual side. All the more reason not to shuffle people into ranked that don't want to be there. Besides, you have to play a decent amount of games to hop in ranked in the first place, will more time really change the quality of your match made teammates . You're sounding salty about the game's matchmaking which in my opinion is the result of the lack of people invested into the mode due to a multitude of reasons, the meta and cheaters seeming to be the loudest complaints.

Weekly store updates are killing my vibe to be honest. I get excited for new content, and get served paid skins that are mid. I ain't tipping. Once you complete the battle pass there's no reason to play..

Yes you’ll get the skins in Season 3, it will appear as soon as you load the game up after patch day :)
I actually said before that I think store updates should be every two weeks to allow time, because they’ve been releasing pretty much “bigger” collections “nearly” every week it’s bound to have periods where it’s less appealing. Apparently they have a tonne of ideas still though so I’m excited for whatever their decision is :)
I've noticed morale in game going way down recently. Team mates just quit if they aren't winning. Its getting really stale with the lack of balance changes and meaningful content.
Hasn’t been my experience in Comp at least, I usually Duo-Queue and I already got to diamond. I’ve had only a small handful of leavers on my team.
Quickplay, people are always leaving though
Yeah quick play people leave quite a bit but it doesn’t bother me, ranked I haven’t had a leaver unless it was lag etc
