Hey awesome video. One thing has changed since, the FCAR now has more recoil and much more damage falloff so beaming a target in 1 clip from 60 meters like you showed in the recoil control is now extremely difficult. Thank you for the guide, I was waiting for something like this tailored for the Finals. I often do a 10 to 20 minute warm up before heading into lobbies. But some days I end up spending 2-3 fully timed-out sessions in the room. Usually practicing stuff that I was messing up in my lobbies earlier. Or just hoping to build better muscle memory of some of the mentioned techniques. I'm glad you mentioned a few case scenarios that I'll be adding to my regiment! Even the crouch while reloading is a good habit to pick up, which I haven't really done -- but similarly for light (cloak build) I tried to build the habit of cloaking on reload. Although it isn't specifically Aim Training. As important as recoil practice, on a per gun basis; I also think its important to know/feel the ammo limit of a gun. This is to build more attunement to reloading. For example, AKM usually allows me 2 lights and 1 medium target for a full clip. So as a goal, thats my target -- knowing that I missed a few shots, and I've already unloaded a lot on a medium and 1 light. I can anticipate I won't be able to finish my 3rd target without reloading. I just reload and reset. This was a habit I picked up, when I started using the FCAR but spent most of my clip on 1 target. Optimally I can get 2 targets; but if I missed my shots -- I'll have taken out my first target while having a remainder of 4-7 bullets left. 7 Bullets generally still is enough for another light target with the FCAR, but in real situations -- its nicer to have a full clip again than going in with 7 bullets, thinking they'll all land. This does build COD reload habits-- which is why I think its still on a per gun basis. You can't treat reloading the same on the AKM and FCAR for example. But then you really shouldn't build bad habits reloading after every encounter like the FCAR, with the Lewis gun. It's something I'm working on... There are times I want to reload on the Lewis while still having 30+ ammo... and the muscle memory gets me caught out sometimes... But I think building mental/muscle memory on reload timings of a gun is essential. Anyway thank you
Hey man, that actually is super good feedback. This situation has actually happened a lot to me in tournaments on a consistent basis especially with the Defib meta, being aware of the bullets left is super important. I will note it and implement on upcoming guides for sure. Thank you!
Liked, Subbed, Notifs on, and finally, a comment. 10/10 editing and 10/10 content. I've been looking for ways to improve my gameplay in The Finals, and this is primo content. Would love to see a video on building awareness and game sense in the future! Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you and it helps a ton! I have a couple ideas and that's definitely one of them I plan to make. After solo-queing ranked I can tell there is a need for a video like this, being that this game requires a very different mind set from most FPS in the industry. If the kill everything in site, 1v3, ditch teamwork mindset breaks I believe that a lot more people will find this game more enjoyable and start to actually have fun!
excellent video, even if I use the controller this guide still gives excellent ideas, especially that of not being stiff, I am stiff with my thumb and hands and my whole arm is affected, it seems that I struggled in real life, now I have taken I recommend being lighter and more relaxed and the recoil is held very very well, it almost doesn't exist, I was already able to hold the recoil well before but now it is more effective. It's not easy to break this habit but already today in a few hours of play I've improved a lot, I don't imagine in the long run. Anyway, thanks for the video and your advice.
The Finals is the first fps game I’ve ever really gotten into. I will follow this guide daily for the next month and see if it actually helps my in game performance. Btw: great editing and overall video quality
Thanks man and let me know how it turns out for you. I'm always learning and feedback will definitely help me refine these guides to make them even better!
Update: I wasn’t as consistent as I had hoped to be, but even so my average kills per game jumped by 8 after it had plateaued just playing games. I’m sure that if you were more consistent you’d see even better improvements. Personally the most useful drill was just the tracking target while moving and jumping around, taught me to fine tune my mouse sensitivity.
I play on console I’m still going to try and implement these drills on controller. I’m sure I will help me. I’m new to the game and always getting outgunned. Just watching this has showed me why. Big love man. Awesome video ❤️
Dude thanks for this training guide. I just started The Finals and having so much fun but I noticed the matches are getting tougher so ima start this routine asap and be consistent. Thanks for all your time and work you put into this.
Yea I’ve felt it too. A lot of player are starting to master specific guns/classes and are definitely settling into the meta. So I’m right there with ya, every time I think I got a good grasp on things SBMM has a funny way of humbling me. Lol
The Finals is my first shooter and I can’t explain how bad Im at aiming. I improved in everything but aiming, to the point that Im using Flame thrower as my only way to do more damage. Ive been doing Aimlab but I got no significant improvement. I will try your practice session and update with results in a month. I really hope this can help me bc I love the game❤. Thanks
Thank you! I'm stoked you enjoyed the editing. Its so true though there is a lot of talent getting on board with this game and its finally making me enjoy scrolling through my suggestion page again!
@@HazedNConfused will put these training regiment play. That deserves a subscription! Keep up the amazing edits and quality videos. Hard work pays off my friend
Another advantage to counter strafing in this game is that it reduces recoil. When u move your crosshair quickly there's a system which reduces your recoil to compensate for tracking fast moving targets. So u always want to be counter strafing in a gun fight(This is true for a lot of other games as well).
Brother you got some serious talent the whole videos edit is godlike the best I have seen on a youtube video Thank you for the dopamine boost man@@HazedNConfused
Starting my journey today man every day every time I play I’m going to be warming up with this and working on everything to become the best player I can be excited for this journey
Amazing video. Wish there was an equivalent for controller! Some things like tracking and strafing crosses over but tips on stick control within its inherent limited range/speed would be awesome
Everything in this routine is effective for controller, the only difference being the way both inputs control recoil while stationary. However with that being said you are correct about the strafe speed and that is something I plan on addressing in an upcoming routine specifically for controller. The routine still needs a lot of tweaking because they did go overboard with the nerfs which I suspect they will revert to a lesser version soon because it is borderline unplayable at close ranges against Mnk (this coming from an MnK main). Whenever they come out with a fix and the "feel" of roller is accurately addressed then I can start basing specific scenarios off those mechanics.
At 4:56 that is what they teach you for speed shooting yes death gripping a gun will make you miss basically if you want to shoot a gun for your first time somewhat use some of the tips
@@HazedNConfused tells you how much stuff you can learn from games that somewhat equate to shooting like not looking at the dot I’m right eye dominate and left handed so I just see the dot and not the sight
Awesome video, great tips and phenomenally edited, was just wondering if there's a Kovaak's playlist you'd also recommend, I remember you mentioned something about it in your first video. Keep up the good work!
First of all thank you so much for watching and yes I highly recommend the Kovaaks Voltaic Strafe Fundamental playlists (Platinum Rank and up). You can find the link to it right in their discord. It works miracles in this game!
Just gonna step in and say nice intro got me hooked instantly espescially since i just start creating vids and also nice routine im defo gonna implement it to my warm up. Keep it up!
The first day of practice went well, I'll try to practice on video for a couple of weeks, to be honest, it became harder to play for L (with random players you play solo) most of them started playing for M and I definitely lack the skill in the movement, think about releasing a video about the movement and tactics (dash and hook rope)
I'm right there with you, I mained light dash through out the beta and grapple hook was close second (personally felt cloaked was very unfun compared to the other 2). I was considering making a video for that because there are a lot of key bind changes that actually make it 2 times easier to use and more maneuverable. The default binds are not that well optimized for the class, for instance dash being on "q" making it very uncomfortable to dash backwards in an engagement, which is incredibly useful when out maneuvering a melee weapon. In regards to the balancing, light needs a buff especially to dash and grapple, not health so much because the whole point of the class is high risk, high reward. So far the patch has buffed them a little on the weapon side, but you still have 2 class that are both high reward/ high reward.
@@HazedNConfused i agree with you about everything. Especially everything related to to dash i can only do it well forward and right, if left and back , my fingers cramp when I’m pressing Q key
@@Winterg0thcompletely agree. Every time I had to dash backwards with Q, it always messed up my finger placement. Try swapping jump to scroll wheel down and put dash on the spacebar. This is what I am using at the moment and it is working really well with dash. Let me know how it feels if you do!
@@HazedNConfused I got it, it sounds unusual with the mouse scroll wheel. And during practice with a sniper, do you also have a large spread of bullets?
When first doing the snap-fire exercise it is perfectly normal to have a large spread being that you are adjusting to the timing so that when you fire the game registers your accuracy as Aiming Down Sights rather than Hipfire. The other factor that you should consider especially when moving is that the reticle is not directly in the center of the screen for the first .25s when pulling up the scope. That is why centering with the hipfire reticle before ADSing is vital because it gives you a rough idea of where the center of the screen really is during the beginning .25s. Hopefully this helps!@@Winterg0th
I would really appreciate if you explained, for my controller users, what the 3 different types of aim assists are, what they do, and how to pick the right one. The three aim assists settings be, linear, sinusoidal, and exponential. From my understanding its that Linear - great for hip fire assists Sinusoidal - A reverse S curve, ive hear it makes hip fire aim assist harder? But im not sure, i dont use it Exponential - I've heard is supposedly the most intuitive of the 3, whatever that means. I personally use linear.

Thank you!
Dude the editing here is insane
Thank you, I appreciate it! 🙏🙏
Already started seeing results after 2 days really helpful man
That’s actually awesome to hear and super motivating too, thank you so much for trying it out!
This guy is insane the quality of his content is just amazing
Appreciate that man and its super motivating for me to hear!

Thanks man and I'm going to try my best and keep it up. Thanks again for all your support!
I play on console I’m still going to try and implement these drills on controller. I’m sure I will help me. I’m new to the game and always getting outgunned. Just watching this has showed me why. Big love man. Awesome video ❤️
Sick video. Your editing was off the charts.
Thank you! This theme is VHS next theme I'm bringing back the DVD theme (not joking lol).

Lol
Right on! Hope to see you out there and maybe even get a lucky team up with you. See you in The Finals! hahaha@@HazedNConfused
High quality stuff here. Great info and excellently presented. well done.
Thank you for the positive feedback! I'm glad you found the information helpful, it really makes my day!

Nutty video, keep it up. You can grow quick!
Thanks a bunch! Your encouragement means a lot. I'll do my best to keep it up!!
this is a fantastic guide my guy. props and thanks for the tips.
Thank you and anytime man, I'm just glad I could help!
That's insanely well edited and a pleasure to watch.
That really means a lot, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks
Please let me know, I look forward to seeing your results and thank you for the support!
Your editing is crazy :)
I appreciate that, thank you! 🙏🙏
Very nicely edited
Man this game is bring very talented people out of the woodwork
The gift that keeps giving subbed!!
Thank you! I'm stoked you enjoyed the editing. Its so true though there is a lot of talent getting on board with this game and its finally making me enjoy scrolling through my suggestion page again!
Yo this editing in the beginning is insane ❤
Video I’ve been looking for
Thanks, hope it helps!
@@HazedNConfused will put these training regiment play.
That deserves a subscription! Keep up the amazing edits and quality videos.
Hard work pays off my friend
Yo that editing is fire
Thanks a ton man, appreciate all the support! 🙏
Another advantage to counter strafing in this game is that it reduces recoil. When u move your crosshair quickly there's a system which reduces your recoil to compensate for tracking fast moving targets. So u always want to be counter strafing in a gun fight(This is true for a lot of other games as well).
Yessirrr! It has a ton of benefits!
Damn son, that intro be banging brother!!
Gave me goosebumps 🤤
Really appreciate that man, thank you!
Brother you got some serious talent the whole videos edit is godlike the best I have seen on a youtube video
Thank you for the dopamine boost man@@HazedNConfused
Just discovered you and will start implementing this very well-explained routine, thank you for taking the time & effort, liked and subbed! 🤗
Your very welcome and I'm really happy the guide helped. Thank you so much for your support and let me know how it goes!!
the editing was next level keep up the good work!
Thank you and will do! There is more to come!
Great video cant wait to apply these principles
Thank you, hope it helps!
Starting my journey today man every day every time I play I’m going to be warming up with this and working on everything to become the best player I can be excited for this journey
Followed this video for a month about 5x a week and it has drastically improved my aim and recoil control undeniably.
Just saw this man and I gotta tell ya. It made my day, thank you so much, this makes what I do all worth it!
Bro your editing style is so good this vid also helped on my aim thanks!
Whenever they come out with a fix and the "feel" of roller is accurately addressed then I can start basing specific scenarios off those mechanics.
wake up babe, Haze just dropped Aim training 2.0
Lmao 😂
I would say the quality of your video is great. Keep up with the editing.
Insane video...❤💥
Thank you man!
Insane video and insane editing, thanks for all the tips !
Thanks a ton! Glad you found the video and tips helpful. There is more coming your way!
At 4:56 that is what they teach you for speed shooting yes death gripping a gun will make you miss basically if you want to shoot a gun for your first time somewhat use some of the tips
That’s crazy I never knew that!
@@HazedNConfused tells you how much stuff you can learn from games that somewhat equate to shooting like not looking at the dot I’m right eye dominate and left handed so I just see the dot and not the sight
Easy like. Great video!
Thank you!🙏
realy nice guide thank you
Awesome video, great tips and phenomenally edited, was just wondering if there's a Kovaak's playlist you'd also recommend, I remember you mentioned something about it in your first video. Keep up the good work!
First of all thank you so much for watching and yes I highly recommend the Kovaaks Voltaic Strafe Fundamental playlists (Platinum Rank and up). You can find the link to it right in their discord. It works miracles in this game!
Dude you're amazing, this help me a lot as a console player 🤧
Just gonna step in and say nice intro got me hooked instantly espescially since i just start creating vids and also nice routine im defo gonna implement it to my warm up.
Keep it up!
Thanks man truly appreciate it, and I hope it helps!!
Finally, time to get to work.
I'm right there with ya, letss get it!
Amazing video could already see improvement in the first couple of days doing this warmup before playing
Wow very cool editing 🔥🔥
Thank man, appreciate it!
Awesome video. Def gonna try this out! I’ll come back to this comment if I noticed an improvement!
Thanks for the awesome guide!!
Wooow... kinda beast
claw grip + arm aiming = infinite mousepad glitch
Nice edit!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
This is some *crazy* editing for a guide brother! Liked and Subscribed right away
Very well made video, keep up the great work!
Thank you so much and absolutely will do! 🙏
bro spent half his time on the video intro
True true lol
I’m controller but these tips are still very helpful great video
Sure is, but I am developing a controller aim guide as well. So stay tuned!
Great editing dude. Keep it up !
Appreciate it man!
Bro I saw you kill staycation😂 helped my aim thx man

The story of my life. lol
Super awesome video, these tips helped me immediately
Thanks man, glad I could help! 🙏
Excellent video and awesome editing. Thanks for your effort! Youll go big with this no doubt in my mind 🎉❤
very good and quality video
It seems you have some experience or background as a professional coach. Great video!
Hmmmm 😉
Sick intro
Thanks a ton man!
I would really appreciate if you explained, for my controller users, what the 3 different types of aim assists are, what they do, and how to pick the right one. The three aim assists settings be, linear, sinusoidal, and exponential.
From my understanding its that
Linear - great for hip fire assists
Sinusoidal - A reverse S curve, ive hear it makes hip fire aim assist harder? But im not sure, i dont use it
Exponential - I've heard is supposedly the most intuitive of the 3, whatever that means.
I personally use linear.
great work here. can you make a kovaak's playlist as well ?
