I always pick Hookup against Jugg or Naix because the tighter cogs can delay them even when they're debuff immune. Also the tighter cogs can be used on the creepwave to pull the lane back in some cases.
Another common tip for Clockwerk. He can hookshot at creeps. It's useful to get out of bad situations. Like you go deward, they see you and chase you, and you hookshot away
Man Clock is such a gem, just so enjoyable to play with even as a 5. You just do so much that's it's hard justifying not picking him. I also go 212 instead of 211, I find that threatening the enemy laners' mana pools tends to reduce their aggression and create a safer space for your core. Also, come on, it's fun knocking them around in the cogs.
For the past two weeks, I've been on a winning streak with ten consecutive victories, which feels great. I've had a significant impact by building aura items for the team, such as Pipe, Crimson Guard, and Vladimir's Offering, and occasionally a Heaven's Halberd, allowing my offlaner to focus on becoming very tanky or a damage dealer.

Clock one of my bests... 1. One of a few heroes that has 3 ability to stop tp 2. One of a few heroes that has all 4 spells offensive 3. One of a few that has stun for a bkb/ ls Rage/ jug battlefurry 4. Can solo kill on 6 almost every hero in da game 5. Simply dewarding with rocket 6. Create a lot of mess and make enemies plit easly 7. Easy to jump in/out of a fight 8. One of a few that can "cliff" others
A couple of things about Hookup. Friendly creeps count, so creepwaves can be used to escape or travel the map with. You can even use hookshot to farm, hitting two melee creeps at the same time is not difficult. Getting blink with it is also an option: Blink on enemy, power kog and hookshot back to your team.
His batt assault is just so good vs enemy supports that have channeling spells e.g. lion, cm, warlock, wd, pudge and those with long cast times like earthshaker. Watching ES cast enchant totem but can't during the duration of battery assault is just hilarious to see lol
I play clock core at 7.5k mmr, hookup is good for maneuverability (flash farming) which clock lacks when played as a core and super value if you can get that multiple hookshot off in a teamfight
I remember accidentally picking clock support and I had never played him before, apologising to my team in advance, we ended up getting stomped with me being the mvp on my team lol
Yeah I’ve been playing it too just cuz it’s Tanky and natural spirit vessel buyer. But been playing Grimstroke more. That hero is amazing right now. Stroke of fate scales insanely well
I dunno man lich is also pretty strong this meta. I even made a lich heart (ofc with the usual ghost scepter, force staff, and glimmer and eul) and i could even almost 1v1 an anti mage that was -3 levels. Plenty of triple kills and assists all around.

dont use cogs vs jakiro in lane, his innate splits his attack into 2 attacks so he just has to click each cog once, its free farm

212 is lvl 5, 211 is lvl 4. but both of these builds have cog on lvl 1. Id assume you mean 211 vs 121.

ive been playing clock 4 im in love with the hero. he is so stable and causes a ton a chaos on the map at a very early timing with urn battery combo.

I love this character. I miss his Q being able to pierce bkb back when I played dota1. Really annoying it doesn't anymore.
