17 Seconds (Student Short Film)

- This is a short film that Mallory (of DC) adapted/wrote, directed, and edited for a class in the media arts program. The cast and crew was made up entirely of members of Divine Comedy, and though the film isn't officially affiliated with DC, we thought we'd post it to show the Divine Comedians doing something outside their standard sketch comedy medium.

I clicked on it thinking it looked interesting, (I like short films) only to find that it starred the cast of Studio C. I can't get away from it....

I love how you try to really have a good pronunciation and end up speaking like a robot. I must say that being in "English mode" it took me to listen again to realize it was in French.
And because the cultural gap may be a trap here this is actually a compliment on your pronunciation.

1) BEST STUDENT SHORT FILM EVER
2) Freaking Matt and Whitney gave me feels even though it's usually Jason and Whitney
3) I saw the bloopers of the slap scene and honestly, it ended it amazing
4) The way it ended was so incredibly boss, it makes me want to be a spy and seduce Matt then kill him. Except I wouldn't be able to since he'd make me laugh so hard

Great looking, good sound, and the dark comedy worked! I'm a big fan of DC, and I really liked it all the way up to the very end, but the finish didn't do it for me. It felt like a joke without a punchline. Nice job anyway!
