Orleans, are,Still the one s,that I have been,Walkin and Dreamin, with ,musically for many many moons.absolutely love their talent.A very underrated group.I hope the last couple generations are listening.
Superbly written, arranged and performed ! Thank you for sharing this new song. Orleans is still the one with incredible vocals, harmonies and instrumentals. Thank you all for keeping this band alive. Been a fan since day one.
Can't wait to hear them live after this tragic pandemic! From one of my favorite bands during my high school days growing up in Syracuse N.Y. I was privileged to see them handshake up close taking photographs at an outdoor track/football field concert in Haverhill Mass I believe in 1980. Stumbled upon this song and was touched and mystified on how great their harmony vocals still are after nearly 50 years!
This just made my day! What a great song and a great recording. The vocals and guitar work are just fantastic. I especially love your vocal harmonies. I had a chance to visit briefly with Lance in the merch tent in Sandy, Utah a few years ago when you were here on tour. What a great guy! Orleans has been a fav of mine since 1979 when I first discovered the band at the ripe old age of 12! I love, Love, LOVE your music. Thanks for the gift of continuing to share it with us, especially at this time when we can't go to live concerts to see you!
What a great vocal Lance and the harmonies are outstanding. You just keep getting better. Love never took time when it came to your music! I’ve loved it since the 70s! Thanks!
Lance you voice is spot on! Great harmony. I did a story for the Ithaca new times after Orleans played at the Salty Dog. Just Larry, John, and Wells. I don't know if it was a first gig or not but it was just the three. I still have that issue of the new Times with the Photos I took. Later on I sent it backstage at the Unicorn to get it signed by then Lance was on board and all four of you obliged.
My mother Bo is friends with John Hall (on acoustic guitar), that's how she was able to get me hooked on this band and more importantly this song. In fact its my and my girlfriend's love song.
Roger, that is my good friend, Yvonne Smith. You can read all about the history of this song and the making of the video by visiting my blogpost. The link is above in the "blurb".
Best Song and Production I heard so far this year. Killer Bass and Harmony Vocals. Really touches me. How did you get that Acoustic Guitar Sound at 0:21?
@@OrleansOnline I have recently "found" Orleans band online and started listening to your musical treasures. Takes time. Are so many, fortunately. I agree. You have two great drummers in the band. What a luxury. 🤘☺️ /Musical autumn greetings from Sweden/Margareta
