If you can’t afford one, I’m pretty sure you can get a great Warmouth guitar and build an amazing unit for a lower price. It just won’t have that fancy relic job. The important thing is to find a good guitar repair guy who knows what he’s doing to properly assemble it. Fortunately I have access to some really good talented guys who can do it

I'm happy for John that he's getting his own shop up and running, and proud of Casino for helping him out - not that he necessarily needs it, but you guys had a great relationship with him at "his last place" and truly appreciate his work which will only promote his business, and get people some sick new guitars from a master craftsman continuing to gift his craft to the world.

I’m not someone that will be able to afford one of these works of art, especially as a lefty that’ll never have the chance for one of John’s custom guitars. But that doesn’t mean I can appreciate how great they look and all the work that goes into them!
If I had the choice between a new Fender custom shop Tele and one of these, I’d choose one of John’s new guitars any day of the week. Nothing really against Fender. But I think it’s important to support builders, especially the ones that have the experience and talent as John Cruze. Just with Casino doing this with him makes me more willing to by all my guitar stuff from Casino.
Thanks for the interview Jonathan and Mr. Cruz. 👍🙏

Great video as usual. Hearing Mr. Cruz talk about the fret wire and the pains of stainless makes me wonder if that newer gold stuff will catch on more in the near future. Supposedly it is a lot harder, and more durable than the nickel wire, but it's easier to work with than stainless. Doesn't tear up the tools as much. You have to be ok with the gold color which is somewhat limiting. Thanks again for the video. It is very cool to take a look at his shop.

Stainless steel frets sound different. Some people don’t dig it.

those headstocks remind me of the crappy hondo strat knock-offs from the 80's. not a good mental image to have when you're talking about a $8-9k guitar.

No matter what they do, no matter what they design, nothing compares to the Fender headstock on a strat. It is f^&*ing perfection.
