Act 1 > the normal banger tee lopes music
Act 2 > “Get ready for the next battle”
Amy has a double jump instead of just the Hammer Spin. Nice improvement from Origins
Ah yeah I’m really happy for the Double Jump now.
But it’s nice she still gets to keep her Hammer Spin from Origins, although it works differently here. It only appears at the start of both her jumps and then when you hold down the hammer rush button and she starts spinning really fast.
So now, Amy has a Double Jump, a Drop Dash, and an Insta-Shield all in one. :D

Yeah. There must’ve been some miscommunication between teams regarding her general moveset, because they both seem very different when it comes to the mechanics.

I'm REALLY loving the level design. It's like a perfect blend of CD and Mania to some extent.
True, those tube sections in particular remind me of the ones from Stardust Speedway (more specifically the Past version in terms of level aesthetic)

Speed Jungle's precisely what the doctor ordered, what with that JSRF-styled Act 2. If you're looking for a glimmer of promise in Superstars, this is it.
Amy got buffed like CRAZY compared to Origins
+Hammer Spin is automatic

yeah amy is noticeably slower than sonic while running but is fine when shes bowling
These Bonus Stages remind me of a mix of the Special Stages from Sonic 1 and 4 Ep.I (more specifically the former with the fixed rotation) and the scrapped Bonus Stages from Sonic CD in the multi-layer aspect
the speed jungle music is so much better than bridge island its not even close
Bridge island ost in this demo seems incomplete so I wouldn't judge yet. Both acts use the same song (which is unusual for classic sonic), and there's a more complete version of the song in the multiplayer trailer that isn't heard in the demo.
I'm sure that version in the Multiplayer trailer is probably the version that's gonna be used for Act 2.

From this demo music, I think Tee composed speed jingle act 1 while someone like maybe Jun did act 2 (because of the synth and drums)

Act 1 music is really good, Act 2 is kinda rough, doesn't sound like Tee Lopes to me. Also, I can't even hear the act 1 melody at all in it
I like act 2 . Personally the only rough themes I heard were the boss themes unfortunately

The only thing I'm kind of "eh" on with Amy, is having her always spin with the hammer. It's like having Sonic use the Insta Shield, it seems like it should be an ability and not an always on feature. But I'm still excited for the game.
Act 2 doesn't sound like Tee, so it may be another composer
Jun Sunoue is also working on the music so it might be him
Jun Senoue is the sound director and along with Tee Lopes there are other composers from other parts of Sega's sound team.

Not sure what that weird silence was in that last part of the first boss, but besides that, looking good!
Looks like a glitch to me.
You can see Choc selects that one ability that summons clones to deal damage to enemies on the screen, and judging by other footage posted by this channel, all activated abilities have music associated with them. Just before that ability initiated, Choc got hit, which caused the song to stop before it ever got the chance to start up. Seems like they forgot a sort of flag to start the boss music back up when hit out of the ability.
My hypothesis might be wrong but I'll be DAMNED if that sudden silence somehow makes its way to release.

I kinda miss Amy being the hard mode character like in Sonic Advance. She seems like an easier Sonic in this game. I just thought it was cool back then when most additional Sonic playable characters made the game easier that one of them actually made the game harder while still being fun to play as.
She's not hard mode at ALL in her Advance-styled Genesis hacks. The buffs to her jumps are ridiculous. She's developed a fair reputation as the acrobatic character.

She has a double jump and the insta shield in one. She can drop dash too. She’s a better sonic.

@@P0tatoz9Her drop dash ability doesn't give her speed like Sonic does in Superstars it just acts as a defensive ability so Sonic is still faster in most cases
@@jamiemanning4944 yeah but the drop dash is only like a tier one spin dash, so it’s not really that important, especially since Amy’s double jump Carries momentum so she gets plenty of speed and air, making her faster than sonic.
@@P0tatoz9 I just mean that he can accelerate more quickly. Amy very well might be more useful in the long run but Sonic can accelerate more quickly

That'd be kind of strange, why would they insert a song from another zone here? Idk, I know placeholders are a thing, but that doesn't quite add up imo.

god, I hate Jun Senoue music, it stands out like a sore thumb, I don't get why he insists so much with reusing the same Sonic 2 drums. The worst part is, the melodies are really decent, but the sound direction is lacking
If you’re going on about the boss music, they’re sonic 4 prototype songs used as a placeholder. It’s the same music used in the summer game fest one too since they are the exact same build. If you’re going on about the stage songs tho?? Couldn’t disagree more both acts go hard 🔥🔥
