Artificial intelligence has come a long way in the recent years, and I think it's finally time to get it to do what I was never strong enough to do myself: create a Sonic OC. What could go wrong?

Having your OC being a -dead- time traveler is actually such an interesting concept, since he could still show up in any point of time, assuming he's been there before his death
Imagine being a time traveler and going to a point after your death and being like "i died a week ago, but i have 20 more years left"

If anyone wants to easily gen an OC that doesnt look near-identical to Sonic on Dall-E mini (or using the "meme style" on Dream AI which works exactly the same) here's a weird protip:
Ask for "Infinite the Jackal".
The AI does not know what to do when you ask for Infinite and it will give you a bunch of whack OCs. Trying to get an actual picture of Infinite? Impossible. But you can get a primative cross between Infinite and Shadow, black and yellow wolves, cyan hedgehogs, and etc. It doesnt really know what species it is making, though some are canine, some are hedgehogs. You can specify a general color to aim for, male or female, and you can put in a FEW certain personality traits that will give it a more personalized outcome, but there are descriptors which will "break" it and those will give you non-sonic furry OCs. Or literal clothing items. It will put the OC on the dress instead of in a dress, for instance.
I have genned a couple hundred OCs for fun like this. I reccomend using Dream while the "meme" style is still available as it works a lot faster, but you do get a slightly higher resolution with Dall E Mini if you tap one of the gens and right click to save. For Dream, download the trading card so the image is decently sized.

I don't get the logic? He'd still die. If a time traveler got shot in the face, they wouldn't survive just because they're a time traveler. You existed yesterday, but if you died today, the fact you were alive yesterday wouldn't make you still alive.

You'll still die in 2030, but, from the perspective of the various yous dispersed throughout time, 2030 is not yet the present, meaning you can still exist after 2030. Future you may have died in 2030, but present you can exist whenever. Although you will inevitably still die in 2030, there will be infinite yous that exist in sort of a loop, so you're effectively immortal.
Time paradoxes are the reason Scott exist but at the same time doesn't, technically speaking because of this Scott is in a permanent state of Superposition.
Even if it's not a raccon, his design is cool, I guess.
Also, R.I.P Scott. He was a brave traveler who just survived for so bit time. May he meet Sonic and co. in another time...

Still to this day I remember my first sonic oc. He was a red sonic with green parts on his spines like shadows red parts. Named Neo the hedgehog.
Mine was similar, it was Classic Sonic with Shadow's color pallete and red quill things, plus extra spikes, a hair thing on front of the head like Tails (it looked more like Amy's, but you get what it is)and he had different shoes.
Then i made an OC with the O meaning something, it was actually an original design.

He goes through time to solve many mysteries but his greatest challenge has come up.
How did he die?
Having a rebellious streak he finds out his death is around the corner so he indulges on his favorite past and future past times.
He’s a raccoon from an ancient civilization that was whisked away to the future where he grew up learning about various sciences.

this video was hilarious! I love how you took advantage of the wacky ideas instead of just trying to get a more normal response.
Years ago, me and a friend of mine created a bunch of Sonic OCs. What started out as a fox with elemental powers hanging out with his hedgehog/dragon hybrid friend resulted in its own separate story and universe, completely disconnected from the Sonic franchise. We came up with various alien races, an entire galactic empire, etc.
Hell, if I had the time and dedication, I could probably write a book on just the backstory of each character with how much we expanded this fan universe.

Very interesting that BlenderBot3 decided to use this story in the creation of Scott the racoon/hedgehog.

Another addition you could add, since so many people want the raccoon, is coon tails in Scott's hair! Also i headcannon scott is actually from the future where sonic is famous, but went to the past because he knows how sonic is defeated, so he grows up in the past to prevent sonic's defeat. But when he saves sonic...he dies instead. He was an enigma. He did it all because he looked up to sonic and no one even knows his name 😢 though sonic will remember him forever

Personally I tend to use ChatGPT for help with character creation when I don’t have any ideas cause it pretty much writes up an entire bio for them lol
Also you avoid the hassle of the ai getting distracted by certain words and going on unrelated tangents XD
