All I know is after over 30 years playing guitar and owning at least 50 guitars over the years, including Gibsons and Fenders and G&L and Washburn and Ibanez and and Ibanez and Ibanez and Ibanez... My Schecter C-1 SLS FR S Evil Twin Elite is the most amazing guitar I've ever had. Nobody AND I MEAN NOBODY puts together a guitar so badass for the money like Schecter.
I bought that exact same Evil Twin last year and over the 26 years i’ve been playing it’s by far the best i’ve played too. That swamp ash back is gorgeous
@@Alan1978M My dad just bought the new Epiphone SG inspired by The Gibson Custom Shop. $1,500 It sounds amazing. @@mykuntstynx9463 I have the regular C-1 SLS Elite in Black Fade Burst with the natural back and it plays and sounds amazing. What does irritate me though, is that they apparently don't do any matching of the body woods? The wood on the left side of mine is pretty saturated and dark while the right side is very pale/light. I wouldn't expect bookmatching at that price point but I feel like they should at least pay a little bit of attention to not have it look SO different on a guitar with a natural back/sides. But as I said, other than this visual issue the guitar is amazing. It has quickly become my main guitar and I'm definitely up for buying another Schecter in the future.
@@ToxinInMyVeins That would be a bit of an irritation for sure considering the back is just as awesome looking as the front because of the neck through design. I must have lucked out because mine is perfect. If there was any kind of a finish issue on mine it would be how I can feel the seams of wood on the front of the guitar directly under the Floyd cavity with my fingers as it's not a perfect blend. Other than that, it's perfect. And I'm not even sure if what I'm talking about is a flaw. And I had to dyi my own silent springs for the trem. Yes Sir I love it.
@@dancortes2164 any access to a 006 would just be enough for me. But since we are asking for specifics I’d love to see a baritone 006. And one with the original pickup format with a humbucker and a single coil.

The fishman opencore modern is essentially the OG modern with a 3rd voicing. It delivers a really accurate splil coil tone - the one thing I've always felt was missing from the OG moderns.
Love the telecaster style guitars. Solar has a baritone one in blue I’ve had my eyes on. I have a Schecter PT special and it’s brutal. Love that they are broadening that line up. Never played a multi scale though! Cool take on it. Also looooove the new Zacky Vengeance signature. The gold hardware makes it stand out with a clean look for sure.
Schecter has some epic remakes. I been trying to license my vertical scallop to Schecter as a limited run experimental guitar. I’ll try after I get a viral vid with a Ytuber.
Sup brada, good to see you doing well. I fkn love Schecter and glad they are getting some props lately. Now if they can keep QC on the straight , prices somewhat affordable and good designs they should be squared away for a while.
Heavy agree, with the "If you wanna make a multiscale, make a multiscale". Nothing else seems great after getting used to a Strandberg 8, if the PT MS 8 had a 28" scale on the 8th string it'd almost be a no-brainer for me (still awesome ofc) lol
Pretty positive the Open Core Moderns came out late last year. They've got the same voices as the newest Fluence Moderns, but with the "open core"/uncovered look if you're not into the typical covered look of your usual active pickups. Love the content as always, man!
I love the Wilde audio , nomad in natural schecter is absolutely stunning…. Not for everyone but. Dude your an awsome player, I’m more into streetpunk and oi! And definetly old school hardcore…but I’m learn a lot by watching you play. I’m 50 and one thing I say to kids . Is you never know wich and when someone playing will inspire you. Big reason I've been grateful to work with them for so long. I still have a C7 Blackjack from 2006 thats taken a beating through constant shows/tours with no issues. I keep coming back to them specifically because they show so much love to lefties
There is a reason brands angle their pickups for their multiscale, and Schecter is about to find out This will sound like a middle pickup on that. And having a longer scale will not solve this issue. That's sad, because the guitars looks amazing
I wonder if they had a longer pickup and angled it the other way where the top was at the bridge and the bottom was all the way to the neck would sound good, you wouldnt need a pickup selector.
Ormsby is doing multiscale right. Six string: 25.5 - 27.5”, Seven string: 25.5 - 27.8”, Eight string: 25.5” - 28.3". 25.5 to 27.5 is just not enough for an 8
I'm curious to hear your thoughts about the new Schecter Meegs PT EX guitar. 27.5" scale tele shaped 6-string 👀 I'm digging it's style and the 27.5" scale on a 6-string I don't see too often from the major guitar companies.
PT model is named for Pete Townshend of the Who. First sighting of complete Schecter tele model was probably on the Eminence Front video. Probably still their best selling model/line, after all these years lol
Interesting timing, after years and years of avoiding Schecter, I just bought my first one the other day and it was a PT Special. None of the metal guitars interest me at all, the only stuff I'm remotely interested in from Schecter is the retro stuff, and they make the most sensible 'modern'' telecaster I could find with the features I wanted. I've always thought Schecters were overly gaudy looking, stuff that caters towards the younger demographic. Didn't know that they have a bunch of old school inspired designs until recently.
When the Wylde Audio Thoraxe came out, I hated it. Then the Goregehn came out...and it looks awesome to me. It seems even Wylde fans cannot agree which ones are ugly and which ones are dope lol
I sent that to one of my friend who was looking for a "Tele d'l'enfer" (Tele from Hell) for his collection, and if you'd just put a red pickup in there it'll look mean as hell
Dude, the PT-8 Black Ops is literally the next “expensive” piece of gear it get. That guitar is literally a dream guitar of mine, but it’s black instead of green to black fade😎
That new Wyld audio needs the jack moved to any other spot. I love guitars with cut outs there, but then half the time they put the jack right where your leg goes. Solar does the same thing with their star shape.
I’m glad to hear others that appreciate Wylde, love him or hate him he’s a workhorse that has filled some legendary shoes over the years including making his own way…..as far as his guitar line the barbarians are awesome AF….
Zakk was the guy that inspired me to pick up the guitar way back in the day, but you have to admit, after he left Gibson or Gibson left him, however it went down, the guitars got uglier and uglier. The bullseye Les Paul Custom was so cool back in the day, but his new signature stuff looks like it melted in the sun.
