  • Art tutorial on drawing faces. (sorry the volume is a little low)
I do accept tips for the tutorials. Rather than my normal PayPal Link I'd prefer tips go to my Kickstarter for my new books, Nautica and Insects 2 at the link below:

And to check out my sketch booking class on Carla Sonheim's platform click the link below:

Thank you so much for this! I too get so bored by the equations of face drawing and this is exactly the type of tutorial that is much needed. These type of imperfect portraits of imperfect people are more exciting and have more character anyway.
I loved your Sketchbooking Workshop and for the next one, I wouldn't mind more sketchbooking, portraits, collage. Whatever you do... I'm in! My sketchbook practice is so much more joyful now since taking your class. Woot!

Loved the sketch booking class and would love a part 2. Collage and your fish & insect drawings are also something that would be great to learn. Thanks for recording your livestream today

Hello! I wasn’t able to watch live, but just watched and wanted to comment about your next possible class. I would be very interested in portrait drawing. (Well, honestly, I would be interested in anything; I really enjoyed your sketch booking class.) This was a fun tutorial. Thanks!

I loved the course of sketch book. I sure will take a second class and glad you’ll be doing one. A portrait class would be nice but whatever you’ll do it will be great!

Ahhhhh this is so cool! Love it! Learned a lot! Thank you for sharing your process. For Carla Sonheim please consider a portraits workshop? I love your work, especially your portraits!

Watching on replay. I would love to take a portrait class with you! This one is outstanding! I prefer to draw/paint non traditional faces (not quite abstract, but also not worrying too much about mathematical proportions.)

I loved this demonstration!!! Thank you so much - the usual “face formula” seems restrictive, so thank you - love the character of your faces! I drew along with you and it’s not amazing, but I do love it! I will be taking your class on Carla’s website soon. Have a blessed day!

I really love your work Lewis and your video tutorials are awesome. Thank you so much for what you do!!! It took me quite a while to figure out how to work Kickstarter (I am not great on the computer, lol) but I have made a pledge and can’t wait to get the books and the reward. I am also looking forward to another class from you on Carla Sonheim’s network. All the best, Deb

"The Forgotten Society" by Alan E Cober IS still in print. Bought one from Amazon recently.

In answer to your question does it ruin the magic of someone’s work after you see the process. It has happened to me with one artists work recently but that was the first time and I’ve watched many artists I like’s creative process. I’m not feeling it with yours atm either.
