What a difference finishing the wall made! It’s got to feel really good to inch closer to having a city full again! The amusement park is just within grasp. 😊
Oh, man, I love the trains. It's great seeing them go in and out of the tunnels and the life they bring to the city. And the platform looks great. All that green is awesome.
This is one of my favourite city updates. I felt the elation too when we got to see all three trains running together. Satisfying indeed. Congrats Jordan.
Congrats - the train lines look great. Always awesome to get that sense of accomplishment after putting in all those hours and iterations of the layout. Enjoy
Great Raised Platform! One idea: the haunted mansion would like nice between the road and the railroad track by the residential area. Would be a good transition from the residential to the theme park.
Looks great! Well done for cracking on with those coverings! That's a lot of work and man hours but we'll worth it!! Thank you for acknowledging my suggestion about swapping the lines over. I wasn't sure if you'd read it! I'm still going to insist I feel you should as it would be so much better if the station services both lines properly. I'm sure you could build a nice fancy footbridge to solve the problem of the train lines to get into the park..and also something you've never built 😉 Keep up the hard work!
I’m the corner closest to your desk, where all three railroads kinda converge, if you don’t end up adding foliage, it would look pretty neat with a skinny observation tower to look over the amusement park.
Love the city, congrats on finishing the wall segments. You could add a couple coin operated binocular stands along the trail, for minifigs to look out over your city? What about shifting things so the Blacksmith's is right in the corner, then placing the Haunted Mansion beside the mountain observatory? I think those two would go along theme wise better. You could put the mansion on a raised rock/green mix of hill as a transition from the mountain to the airfield area?
Whoooo! Finally adding depth to that road tunnel I remember suggesting that a while ago! XD there's something so satisfying about the trains going through the tunnel, especially the passenger line through the long tunnel! Personally I'd raise the haunted house more than 3 brick, it should be a little taller than the Blacksmith otherwise I fear it will be too hidden in the corner
One day, (when you have more space of course) - I'd love to see the theme park get some theme upgrades... You could have a Marvel section to help display more of the Marvel stuff from the shelves, maybe a Harry Potter world, and a Star Wars section... basically a mini universal studios/disneyworld. Just thought that could be a cool solution for clearing some display space on the shelves, and integrating some of those sets into the city.
It looks amazing, congratulations on completing the upper level! 🎉🎉 I have been thinking your layout of the amusement park could be improved a bit by moving the Disney castle to the far end near the platform, it would make it similar to the "highlight" of the park that you have to walk down the whole park to get to. Like a natural end point of the park so to say, it would also place it in close proximity of the other castles and remove the loop coater from blocking the view of the corner! Keep up the good work bricksie!! Really enjoying your hardcore dedication to the city in these past weeks!
Everything looks amazing! I wondered if you might put a crypt beneath the haunted manor, instead of the grounds, and maybe a staircase/walking bridge to get up to it from the park
Behind the school, then add the Mystery Machine, perfect place for the haunted manor. That way you have TWO places they could visit. lol If you can figure out a way to turn it into the Wayne Manor... Remember that The Batman movie 76183 Batcave set in the Wayne Station??? Add the classic tv-series batcave 76052, too it and... Yup, Haunted Manor just transformed into Wayne Manor, just needs a way for Batman to reach the road, from the Batcave, somehow. I would suggest making your Bricklink ideas station, fully set for the theme park, meaning reworking that switch track, make it a section that's double tracked, for just the station. Maybe adding your Disney station to it, as well. That would let you use longer platforms, while you rework things a bit, so both stations become one station. Get lego set 7197 I think you might like it. Yes, a Indiana Jones set, but a Italy oriented one.
It would be cool if you worked that part of the raised platform into the theme park somehow… water slide maybe? Or the log ride? Just some ideas! Awesome awesome work!! Love the videos!!
You seem to be avoiding the amusement park. the Castles almost done you are going to have to deal with the amusement park sooner or later LOL. Another great video
In one of your previous vlogs you showed an empty corner base plate by next to the bookshop and museum. Maybe test out how the haunted mansion would look there?
Perhaps you could build some bedrock/mountainous terrain under the Haunted Mansion so it has this daunting “mountain castle” look in the corner looking down on your city. Could be a cool way to end the city in that corner so it gets the appreciation it deserves.
Bricksie I was only suggesting about changing your lego train layout around the park, because when you start to actually work on the park that extra space will be helpful. Better off doing it now, instead of realizing it later.
Bricksie 2023: I've added a raised platform to my city! Bricksie 2033: City Level 88 finally completed! Bricksie 2043: I just got a shipment of gray bricks to complete Bricksie Tower at Level 143... Bricksie 2053: So you can see the ceiling for the first floor has been demolished to make way for Sky City...
In the corner on the raised platform you could put a pond and some trees there it would look so good! Also, you could put the headstones on the hill if you do put the mansion in that spot!
Amazing work Jordan! As a regular viewer, I can’t help but be super happy for you that you are fulfilling your vision of the raised platform and train lines! Cheers from San Francisco! 🍷
Awesome update! Was wondering if you could build another raised platform station at the amusement park? Would break up the wall rock area inside the park nicely, or it could be a shop built into the rock face?
if you make the edge of the blacksmith plate even you can start the haunted mansion plate from there because the plate of the blacksmith goes a bit down so if you make it even and raise the haunted mansion up from there it can be higher
Loved the new platform coverings! But I disagree with the decision for the Haunted Mansion… only place for it is on a shelf (even if it does overhang a little). I think it will just look too out of place
I love it !! Your city looks so amazing , really . How you ever wondered how many pieces you have used to make your city so far ? Has to be well over a million pieces , yikes . thanks for the video . 👍 Take care, Dreamer
@@Bricksie The time and the work you have done ... so far... shows it !! 👍 Just think what is to come when you are able to find a larger place !! Take care, D.
Looking great! (Though, did you test the tunnel curves with the Disney Train carriages as well? IIRC they're a bit wider than the engine and it'd be a shame if they clipped the tunnel corner if you ever did run it that line)
Hey bricksie Im coming back to Lego after being away for many decades (yes I'm old) I have to ask what is the purpose of the mills plates? Are they just stronger/sturdier than basic base plate or is another magical Canadian reason for them. Much love bud keep up the great work.
That lego city has better transportation networks than most non lego citys

That turned out so well! Well done! Love seeing the three trains running at the same time!
This is definitely the best train setup in a city you’ve had so far. Everything looks so clean and cohesive. It’s freaking nice

One of the things that makes your videos so good is the amount of progress you make. It's actually pretty wild.
Really nice train setup. It's finally finished and it was all worth it.
This is one of my favourite city updates. I felt the elation too when we got to see all three trains running together. Satisfying indeed. Congrats Jordan.
Congrats on finishing that project! It looks incredible with the finished platform coverings! The city has never looked better!

You could place the hobbit hole set in the corner, I think it could fit really well.
that intro was nice foreshadowing its good to see all the trains running through the city
Awesome! So much fun to see the 3 train lines running. Also really love the raised platform area. Thanks!
So happy for you ,that you got the castle area and all 3 of the train lines done ! What a hugh task ! Congrats!

I absolutely love the look of the raised platform. Great job.
What a milestone, platform looks awesome! Thanks for sharing more great Lego content. Best city!
Now you need multi-cam views, including GoPros on the trains, rollercoaster, street views, from the tops of towers, etc.
Woo hoo looks awesome . Loving the trains . I guess a castle needs a cemetery. It could be a haunted church.??
The Haunted Mansion would be a scary tourist attraction of your city and I hope the BricksieLand reopening is next I’m excited to see it

Wow, your Lego city is absolutely fabulous ❤
Awesome paint work love the trains and city
im looking forward to seeing what you do with the haunted mansion - i would love to eventually make one

You sound tired man. Time for a long nap next to the babies! Thanks for sharing!
The wow.factor......great job!! ❤
On the little platform on the train track tunnel in the corner you should put a little hobo camp.
That haunted house might be able to go up on a rock cliff style elevation in the corner and then just fade the left side down to the rest of the hill.
Really nice job with the city .Must have taken you quite some time to for the whole build.Good stuff.
You should try to connect the two tracks together
WOW! Beautiful tunnel! I also have to build one in the next episodes
Looks great Bricksie!!
Maybe have the Painter CMF painting the black wall in the fake tunnel... and change a few of the bricksto gray...lol
Wonderful 😮😮
Looks awesome 👏🏻
Looks awesome!!
You should do ocean with a viking ship getting ready to attack on the last part of the platform.
ive been watching you for like 3 years and I still find this stuff interesting.. lol I need a new hobby hahah.
I still think if you work the Haunted Mansion grounds into its hillside it would be pretty awesome.
if you make the edge of the blacksmith plate even you can start the haunted mansion plate from there because the plate of the blacksmith goes a bit down so if you make it even and raise the haunted mansion up from there it can be higher
I'd love to see the Tower of Orthanc in that corner space. Or a tower of some kind.
