Hey Jordan, just a suggestion... Wouldn't the windmill be a better fit in the corner instead of the haunted mansion as it would fit better with the medieval theme along with the castle etc.✌️❤️🇬🇧👍
Would the red and white coaster fit sideways where you are going to put the Disney castle? And then build the Disney castle where the coaster currently sits? That would be a better way to break up the line and not block the raised platform. It would also make the castle more of a centerpiece. Also, I’m not sure of a fix but the Ferris wheel blocks the rest of the park when looking at it from the front of the tables… for the walkways, tile makes more sense than greenery. Amusement parks normally have concrete walkways and then potted plans along the side.
Here's a suggestion, how about put the Disney castle on raised platform and make a walkway up, with that you have more free space to work with, on top of that you can sort of make all the medieval building and castle all connected to the Disney castle and the amusement park, That will explain why there is a medieval building in middle of city, because it's all part of amusement park and the knight and people in there are role-playing
it would be hard, but you could maybe try to angle the disney castle 45 degrees and that would give you the space to double it and not crowd the entrance with the coster. The layout is looking good!
Also he could angle the haunted mansion ride so that it faces towards the amusement park, so it would create a more secluded park area, as well as making it easier for the staircase and queue to lead into both the Disney casket and the mansion ride
Just to throw it out there, maybe scrap the water fountain or move it near the entrance. Possibly put in some very tall trees to put in between the roller coasters, and could be seen over the carousel. It'd break up the coasters without completely hiding your fountain. Possibly have some small picnic tables or benches so families could have shade to eat or rest.
Your amusement park and the roller coasters specifically are what got me back into Lego since i stopped as a kid. Even though my room is small I made my closet to be able to fit them since my cat destroyed my loop coaster and I had to rebuild it. I used to play with knex since it was the only way to build a roller coaster realistically. now I have the 2018 RC and the loop coaster. Gonna buy the space coaster when it comes out but I'm gonna have to keep it boxed because of space no pun intended. also hunting the pirate coaster which I would also have to keep boxed
I liked your earlier idea of having the Disney Castle by the entrance such that visitors to the park would walk through it after crossing the train line. Otherwise, as others have said, place it at a 45° angle and that will free up some space. I also agree with others that your fountain should not be hidden behind the carousel, if you bring that out from back there you could slide the carousel back a little bit and create a bit more space for a walkway. At the same time though, I don't think having all the ride in a line is a bad thing as it give you more room in front for other things.
Couple of ideas. 1. Move the Disney castle between the rollercoasters in current layout. 2. Put the Rollercoasters at opposite ends of the park from each other, rides staggered in-between. 3. Swap the Disney castle (fully built) with the ferris wheel, the round castle would nestle nicely in the train track curve. Love your channel. ❤
Looking forward to seeing how you pull off making this park look nice, its a challenging limited area for sure, lot of the rides and castle dont have a lot of breathing room.
Have you thought about putting the Disney castle on an angle so it backs into far corner more? If you do that you can see you builds on the raised platform better
Awesome! I continue to admire your Growing Lego City! 🌴🌲🌳 - Multi-level Amusement Park! to free up space. 💡What if to extended (in the shape of an L) a raised platform along the Amusement park!? and put part of the park on this platform, for example, Red Rollercoaster and some other buildings, and we'll make more room for the Disney castle and other attractions. You may only need to raise the bottom shelf higher. 🙂
Been watching your videos for a few months now and I have to say, really enjoyed this one! The editing of you figuring out the math and locations for each plate in the amusement park was so interesting! Would love to see more like this!
Thanks for sharing the time lapse of you building everything. I enjoy that, you normally jump to when it's done, which is also cool, but seeing the process is much better!
Just adding my random thoughts to the mix of ideas … move the Ferris Wheel down, move the Loop Coaster down, push the Merry-go-round to the back, bring the fountain forward then turn the long grey area into a midway with small games, small rides and food vendors plus green spots and benches to rest at. I know this leaves all the big rides in a line but the minifigs would have easier access to everything and a pleasant stroll down the midway. :-)
Good start. It's so hard as very limited in space. There's so many other rides that would also be great but no room. I believe some have suggested but the Disney castle should go at an angle. That'll break the linear layout, look better and stop it from blocking the platform so much. Look forward to what you decide.
I don't mind the straight line of all the rides. You can't see the water fountain at all how it is. If all the large rides were in the back and the shorter ones were in the front, you would be able to see everything. Large rides in the back, smaller rides, and vendors in the front. You could also rotate the Disney cable to fit better in the corner.
Around 8:58: I think a fence along the train track would be ideal, it isn’t uncommon for railroad lines to be fenced off. Plus you could probably do a combination of fences of hedges! Hedges on the back corner of the ferris wheel and a long strip of fencing along the long straight sections of tracks on either side where necessary. I think the fence, if you do choose to go with it (and I suppose same can be said for the hedges) shouldn’t be as tall as the mini-figures as it could block some of the details in the park, plus we can use our imagination that folks in the park would be smart enough to know to not hop the fence. A bridge over the tracks to the haunted house might be a bit too tall and may take up a lot of space, since it’ll need to accommodate the Disney train, which the smoke stack makes it quite tall. A level crossing would be ideal. Signs would definitely look nice for them, however the little arms for those crossings can be skipped out as some railroad crossings don’t have the arms! Only the signs, bells and lights. Some even only have just the sign! However these are all my ideas/suggestions, do what you see fit! This is looking wonderful already and I can’t wait to see what you do with this park!
For the odd space behind the ferris wheel, maybe you could put some bathrooms and concession stands or hotdog stands there plus a picnic table or two? That way the gap makes sense.
Dropped a like for the video. I also think it would be cool to have some water going around the Disney Castle. Maybe like when you double the size of it that could be something you work on to finish it off and then have some type of small bridge over the water for the guests to walk over. That would be super cool
Have you considered putting the haunted mansion near the lighthouse on the hill that you had once planned to put the observatory on? You could make a secret entrance to the cave below from the mansion. If it would fit of course.
Hey Jordan, love your work. first time commenting. Maybe its a good idea to turn your carousel 90 degrees so te mechanism to make it spin is on the side of the raised platform. Maybe that way you can bring it closer tot te tracks and leave more space to walk behind it to the fountain. Maybe you can integrate the mechanism in a stand or a planter of some sorts. Keep up the good work. Thanks for your content
If you rotate the carousel 90 degrees so the motor connection is facing the Disney castle, that will give you a few studs between the carousel and the train tracks for a walkway. Or gives you a couple studs to push the carousel closer to the tracks giving you more space on the other side by the fountain.
I'm just saying - the Disney Castle on the hill overlooking the park would be very cool. Plus it goes with the mid evil theme - like how Disney has different lands within the Magic Kingdom. All you need it some stairs. Plus, then the raised train line could also function like the monorail does in Disneyworld as well.
WHAT IF the disney castle, doubled, go up the raised plataform and kinda make a connection to the medieval scenes?? the haunted house thing could go in the residential area, connecting with the more forest-ish part of the city..
Great progress. But merry go round is cramped. Put the merry go round where the Ferris wheel is. Disney castle should be place at 45 degree angle so it’s hides the shelf bracket. If you wanted to get crazy you could move the train track one track width towards the stairs to make more room for the amusement park.
I'm so happy that you are starting to work on your theme park. I totally love the starter so far... Just don't forget to leave space for the new theme park lego set for this year. Hmmm... Wonder what it's going to be?
The castle should be on the platform behind the amusement park instead of the medieval blacksmith in my opinion. It would look so grandiose. You can build out the platform forward if it needs more depth. I would put the loop coaster on the other side and get rid of a few buildings in the street next to the train station. 16:32
Hi Jordan, just an idea. When the Disney castle comes with an angle of 45 Degrees, will maybe be more space available and also an increase of the distance towards the roller coaster. Best regards Steve.
I like what you have going. However, I don't see a problem with all the rides in a line. It would leave plenty of room for vendors and games and seating. But it's your park and your choice. Looking great!
Looks great Jordan!! Just an idea to get you some more room, what if you used the track that the Disney train sat on all the way to raised platform instead of the one you currently use. You’d have make a small bridge over your maintenance hole. Just make it easy to disconnect and move the tunnel but it would give you a lot more depth for the park & definitely get you more room to break that line up more you were talking about.
The train inside the park uses a lot of space. You could consider having the big train station as an end station, like the Milan’s station in Italy. So both track will end in the station, and you could make the lines connect to the city line or create another city train track. I just feel that cutting the train line from the park will solve all your space problems
Hi love your videos 😍. I think you should have the Disney station behind the castle so the mimi figs can go from one end to the other on the train, in the park. Thanks 👍
What a massive project youve just started but an awesome one 🙂 Idea: The "Mixer" that is raised up by clear glass... what if you put it ontop of an Entrance Archway(a raised platform as you mentioned) on the other side of the tracks as a continuation of Bricksie Entrance ?

Nice update! Was wondering if the fountain looks better and makes more sense near the entrance instead in behind rides? Also as other say definitely double the Disney castle and change the angle and it would look amazing
Hey Jordan great you start the park been a lnog time coming i know your pain when dealing with coaster i have 3 of them for my Holiday village , you moved the loop coaster out of the corner for blocking the raise platform and castles but if you put the Disney castles it does the same .. here idea just throwing this out there maybe if you have the parts- you plan on modding the Disney castle anyway! then having it aise up in to the coner space on and angle like on a 45 dgeree angle the the train line would need a tunnel under it and that would give the space for the Haunted Mansion and Hauted house be thremed together with trails and stair leading to the Disney castle which keep the castle on the rasied platform theme going ! again just throwing it out there
Hello, fantastic work you present once again. The Disney castle could be placed slightly diagonally, so you would also have an interesting and appealing layout I think. :) I'm curious to see what happens next. Greetings from Germany
Your Lego amusement park looks amazing and might be might favourite part of your whole Lego city, I will say though that I don’t really like how you have decreased your Lego amusement park. Now I know why you have done it so you can fit more roads, buildings and streets/cars but I liked the space you had allocated for your amusement park previously but none the less it looks amazing and can’t wait to see the end result.
Just a thought that might incorporate some past ideas. I like replicating walking through the castle at the park entrance. Perhaps raise the entry gate on a platform that allows guests to walk over the train and straight through the elevated castle. Then, at the backside of the castle, descend down to ground level for the rest of the park.
Can't you turn the Disney castle with 45 degree so the entrance will face to the corner close to the train line? therefore the tower would cover less from the corner of the raised platform once you put something there? Just because you removed the loop coster because it was too high but now the Disney tower is covering that corner, and it would also give you probably a bit more space even if you double it up.
An idea for the future- Build the theme park inset into a lowered portion of the city surrounded by rock edges/waterfall and your favorite green space. There is a Six Flags in San Antonio, Texas that is built into a rock quarry and so a lot of the super tall rides are the only thing you see poking out. Can even make a zip like that way, tunnels...etc etc ❤
Love the amusement park layout looking great, what if you were to put the castle on a 1 brick platform that would allow you to set it back in the corner at an angle, giving you a large court yard space you can use as a food court area with restrooms and food venders, allowing you to use the pathways between the rides for just pathways instead of trying to add venders in a already cramped space. Just a thought, thanks for all you do, especially taking the time away from the kids and Mrs. Bricksie (Jose`)
Hey Jordan things are looking great! Seeing the midevil section looming above the amusement park makes me wonder if it would be possible to integrate the midevil scene into the amusement park. Of course, then that raises the question of how visitors would get up onto the raised platform. What could happen is since the haunted mansion needs a staircase/bridge to get over the rail line, the entire baseplate the mansion sits on could be raised. From there, it would have a modest sized staircase leading up into the midevil area. I'm not sure if it would be possible/ realistic but something to think about.
They used to put carousels up on a 2nd story. Maybe a pagoda type build with an arcade or vendor stands in a round or octagonal building on the first floor and the carousel on the 2nd floor?
Another though, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Custom MOC roller-coaster!! You could then tailor it to the space you have for the Amusement Park!!
after all that, hate to suggest, would be cool to combine-the-coasters ;) there is a easy way to link the first and second roller coaster to make a single epic ride
jordan, your lego is good, but youre very good at thinking out solutions to things and also at documenting your problem solving and thats what keeps me subscribed. cheers
What about raising the red and white coaster a bit and running the train thru it. This would allow u to put it where the haunted house is with the train running thru the coaster. Would really open up some space.
As much as you don’t want too, I think the amusment park is in need of some more space as the Disney Castle looks out of place and there will be no room for a stage and the bridge bit looks out of line. And the Disney castle definitely needs to say in the amusement park in my opinion
I have been building a amusement park for a while and it is very big Some custom rides that I made is a few different spinner attractions and a few redesigned sets from creator and one from city and some static water rides
I think the amusement park does not add enough value to the city. The roller coasters are just too large and adds hectic space. Would be awesome if you look the big rollercoasters out and focused on a couple main amusement park rides (like the carrousel), the Disney castle and then some food vendors.
YES YES YES YES YES YES 🙌 btw leave the Disney castle till last because their is a rumoured bigger version coming out very soon EDIT i just thought unrelated but you could do your own version of the Hollywood sign somewhere on the raised platform
That loop coaster is the real haunted house. I can't imagine the jump scare if you came around the bottom of a coaster like that right when a train passed.
Hey Jordan, just a suggestion... Wouldn't the windmill be a better fit in the corner instead of the haunted mansion as it would fit better with the medieval theme along with the castle etc.✌️❤️🇬🇧👍
Or another mountain like hill
Jordan loves rebuilding things!
great observation, I agree 100%
Yes
Would the red and white coaster fit sideways where you are going to put the Disney castle? And then build the Disney castle where the coaster currently sits? Thought of that too!
Yeah i thought that coaster should be sideways back there too.
Facts
Agree with all of that.

I think you should motorize all amusement park rides where possible before finalizing them, would be cool to see everything running at once.
Couple of ideas.

Also on an angle he may be able to still double it up
I agree on the comments of allison and Ian.

No need to defend your trains, it is your City! Loving the work and am fascinated (as always!) with where you are going to take us on your adventure!
Loveimg the new placement s in the emusment park.great stuff on conecting all the plate s ... s so no gape s..
I Hella love the shelf baseplate you did for the Ferris wheel. That was very smart.
For the odd space behind the ferris wheel, maybe you could put some bathrooms and concession stands or hotdog stands there plus a picnic table or two? That way the gap makes sense.
Use tiles and jumpers to place the disney castle diagonally. Then you can easily double the castle plus it breaks up the grid look.
I have waited so long for this

Hey Jordan. Great MOC! You should turn your Disney castle on the diagonal and use up lost back corner.
Love your videos!

Can’t wait to se it evolve

The theme park looks great man! :)
finaly!🥰
Hi love your videos 😍. I think you should have the Disney station behind the castle so the mimi figs can go from one end to the other on the train, in the park. Thanks 👍
I actually can't wait to see how you work this - the time has finally come!!!
I like drinking my morning coffee well I watch you build your Lego lol good way to start the day
What a massive project youve just started but an awesome one 🙂
Idea: The "Mixer" that is raised up by clear glass... what if you put it ontop of an Entrance Archway(a raised platform as you mentioned) on the other side of the tracks as a continuation of Bricksie Entrance ?
just thinking the problem of space and the train track... can you just uplift shaker and carousel on top of the train track to get more space? so don't need to worry fencing the train track and get little more space for the amusement park. Also maybe to put Disney castle in angle with the train curve?
Wow
The grey strip in front of the red and white coaster could be for park games like balloon pop, frog launch, basketball shot, etc.
Nice update! Was wondering if the fountain looks better and makes more sense near the entrance instead in behind rides? Also as other say definitely double the Disney castle and change the angle and it would look amazing
you should add a viewing platform and maybe a tourist area and a train stop at the big colorful pillar
Can’t wait for this new Lego series journey
Hey Jordan great you start the park been a lnog time coming i know your pain when dealing with coaster i have 3 of them for my Holiday village , you moved the loop coaster out of the corner for blocking the raise platform and castles but if you put the Disney castles it does the same .. here idea just throwing this out there maybe if you have the parts- you plan on modding the Disney castle anyway! then having it aise up in to the coner space on and angle like on a 45 dgeree angle the the train line would need a tunnel under it and that would give the space for the Haunted Mansion and Hauted house be thremed together with trails and stair leading to the Disney castle which keep the castle on the rasied platform theme going ! again just throwing it out there

thats a great start to the theme park. nice work
awesome video jordan the amusement part looks amazing great job
Hello, fantastic work you present once again. The Disney castle could be placed slightly diagonally, so you would also have an interesting and appealing layout I think. :)
I'm curious to see what happens next.

Oh yes I am excited
Awesome Amusment update
Oh man, I've been waiting for the full Disney castle for so long!

I vote for a raised platform above the train track on the side wall to create an elevation and more space for the amusement park
This is so cool 😎
I appreciate the daily content. Really cool to know that there will constant updates everyday.
FINALLY!! Let’s goooooooo
You could add the up house
Amazing

Love the amusement park layout looking great, what if you were to put the castle on a 1 brick platform that would allow you to set it back in the corner at an angle, giving you a large court yard space you can use as a food court area with restrooms and food venders, allowing you to use the pathways between the rides for just pathways instead of trying to add venders in a already cramped space. Just a thought, thanks for all you do, especially taking the time away from the kids and Mrs. Bricksie (Jose`)

Maybe turn the Disney castle 45 degrees, so the entrance is pointing diagonally towards the standing hole, might give you more room to expand it
You can fill the castle in completely, just build it at a 45° angle, and move a few things around to fix the problem.
FINALLY 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You could always just put the loop coaster on the track shelf until you have a bigger space to dedicated to a theme park
Here's a suggestion. What if you were to make the train go up over the pedestrian crossing, and have the pedestrians go through a tunnel or something?
you could make a milsplate with a complete turntable build in. that way some of the buildings can be placed in a angle much easier and faster.
About time, I’m so excited
Hey Jordan things are looking great! Seeing the midevil section looming above the amusement park makes me wonder if it would be possible to integrate the midevil scene into the amusement park. Of course, then that raises the question of how visitors would get up onto the raised platform. What could happen is since the haunted mansion needs a staircase/bridge to get over the rail line, the entire baseplate the mansion sits on could be raised. From there, it would have a modest sized staircase leading up into the midevil area. I'm not sure if it would be possible/ realistic but something to think about.
I like the MILS for the Haunted House , great idea -- great tip !! Overall it looks great . Later , Dreamer
They used to put carousels up on a 2nd story. Maybe a pagoda type build with an arcade or vendor stands in a round or octagonal building on the first floor and the carousel on the 2nd floor?
Make the train go tru the disney castle (:
Another though, I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Custom MOC roller-coaster!! You could then tailor it to the space you have for the Amusement Park!!
after all that, hate to suggest, would be cool to combine-the-coasters ;) there is a easy way to link the first and second roller coaster to make a single epic ride
jordan, your lego is good, but youre very good at thinking out solutions to things and also at documenting your problem solving and thats what keeps me subscribed. cheers
What about modifying the white rollercoaster to fit sideways along the back with the raised platform and raise it up and span over the train tracks.
Have you thought of building the entrance to the theme park on the top of a hill/bridge that goes over the railway? Cues up the stairs
I think it might look good if you try and integrate the Disney castle into the entrance of the theme park.😀👍
Ok let’s go
I have been building a amusement park for a while and it is very big
Some custom rides that I made is a few different spinner attractions and a few redesigned sets from creator and one from city and some static water rides
I think the amusement park does not add enough value to the city. The roller coasters are just too large and adds hectic space. Would be awesome if you look the big rollercoasters out and focused on a couple main amusement park rides (like the carrousel), the Disney castle and then some food vendors.
You could move the white and red rollercoaster 16 studs closer to the loop coaster
you could angle the diseny castle by 45° angle. i think it would better fit the space
