For longevity... I've had my unger for 5 years. Replaced one sleeve collar and the cone twice a year. Being I use it for 9 hours a day 6 days a week year round that's a good deal. The cold below 20 degrees takes a toll on the tip. The locking mech wears in very cold weather. And the only reason I had to replace the collar is my employee tightened it waaaaaaaaaay to tight! It took the two of us to unlock it. Take care of your pole and it will last forever. Just upgraded to the xero this year, which is auch lighter and versatile pole.
I have the 30ft soo heavy! But nice and stiff and affordable!! Great video!!

Do people still buy those? If you are looking at the larger pole, for nearly the same price, you could get a trad pole

All i use is unger poles, i have a few 5 section and a couple 2 section for smaller jobs. For sure a superior product.
