Guys, that was fantastic! It's far different from the way I make wooden boats; I follow the English tradition of making the ribs first and fastening the strakes to them. But your way is at least as strong and should have good sea-keeping ability. I'm guessing this boat is intended for high speeds and protected waters, judging by the design. It's a little flat-bottomed, narrow and probably not enough freeboard for open-ocean work. I would have built shorter and stubbier and double ended. But still, it's a very nice boat, and built by an experienced crew. The one thing I noticed was you cut excess material on the boat and make the ribs to fit whatever the boat does with the planking. (Those guys chopping out the ribs with nothing more than an axe and a planer was a delight to see!) I would have measured twice and cut once, as we say around here, and then fit the planks up on the ribs, but not before they were cut to size and shape. Then again, I also need a loft floor to build it on; I can't just build it in the back yard the way you guys did. A question: do you guys ever build clinker-build, or lapstrake? I have never seen a carvel built boat where you built the planking first and then the ribs. Nice, very nice indeed.

saran dari saya, kalo bisa Tools kerjanya ngikutin perkembangan jaman bro... biar bisa lebih efisien diwaktu, sama naikin nilai jual, kaya buat pasak sm rautan pasak ada dijual online juga tuh... cuma 20 rebuan 1 biji tapi bikin pasak jadi lebih cepat

@@JJfishing19marine buset mahal nya 😂 di kampung saya 50 juta sudah dapat perahu yg lebih besar dari itu. Bahkan bisa memesan kepada yg ahli membuat perahu. Kalau perahu bekas sekitar 30/40 juga dapat yg besar dari utu
