I think Saad deserved a better girl. He doesn’t deserve a girl who’s going to be miserable with a rotten face and make his life terrible even though he did absolutely wrong! He didn’t even take an advantage of the situation and refused the nikah.
I also think Maheer deserves someone she loves and who loves her, and not be tied in a marriage where the love is one sided.
@@Mangakuray then maheer should have been brave enough to not accept the nikah. She should have told her parents that she will not decide anything untill she talks to areeb once. In a fraction of sec she believed that he cheated her.
@@alifiyabhanpurawala1373 Who can be brave with a father like that who keeps emotionally blackmailing her and keeps repeating what will happen to his izzat if the nikah didn't happen..the poor girl didn't have a choice. She was literally forced into it. At the same time, she is under the impression that Areeb cheated and left her high and dry..afterall his mother called the whole thing off.
Personally I think that when Maheer said Qubool Hai it was Saad who resented her for saying it. No matter how much he loves her the scenario in which they got married was the last thing he wanted. He wanted her to say no, letting her go would’ve been easier for him than being with her while she is in love with someone else. And since Saad already said no once, he expected her to say it this time. He can’t be the one taking all the blame on his shoulders everytime. If Maheer isn’t brave enough to say no to her family then she doesn’t deserve to marry Areeb.

MPHT: I can't warm to Zaviyar as an actor or as his characters, I find him uncharismantic with no screen presence. I don't usually care about the nepotism debate but doubt he'd be getting these lead roles without his father's name. His actings fine even good but he has side character energy, the guy that would play the girls brother etc. Wahaj on the other hand is killing me, the pathos in his eyes, I can't bear his suffering 💔 what a mesmerising actor.
the sudden shock on saad's face when Maheer said QABOOL HAI was such a treat to watch and Wahaj delivered it perfectly. The man was ready to listen to her saying NAHI QABOOL but she shocks him. He was in utter disbelief that he would hear her saying yes to him. And saad was ready to face rejection again, his only concern is seeing Maheer happy. What Maheer did was cowardness and the shock on Saad's face explains that he cannot believe Maheer is that coward.
How is it cowardness, areeb’s mom just called and said that we are not coming etc etc so everyone is thinking that areeb ditched her.

Saad took all the blame on himself. She did Saad dirty... And now she didn't even resisted, she didn't even said a single thing to her father... She just said "QUBOOL HAI" .
For me maheer is a very weak and coward girl who can't even stand for herself...
Maybe she could've said k jab tk meri areeb sy baat nai hojati mein nai karoon gi nikkah, aik baar baat hojany dein usky baad jis sy kahein gy shaadi kr loongi... But she couldn't... You can look at it in a different perspective but to me that's cowardliness... Being dependent on others for your happiness is just not it yaar

MPHT: Show me the eye expressions of Wahaj looking at Maheer and I can tell through his eyes whether he is Mutesim or Saad, no dialogues needed. The very visible helplessness, pain in his eyes show that he is Saad. Brilliant expressions!
Feeling sorry for Areeb too. Both boys are good, sincerely in love. Heart went out for Maheer too. This episode was a bomb of emotions. The taya and dad knew they had a substitute dulha, Stepney Saad, so didn’t bother to contact and demand explanation from Areeb’s dad. Such parents treat their children as pawns, using them to their advantage without considering the turmoil they would be creating in the lives of the children.
I think parents were correct in shutting them off. The mother was hiding their true behavior ..maheers father realized he doesn'twant his daughter with such people who disrespect her to this level.
But whatever it was , it was maheers choice so good or bad , it was upto her..then again, the girls can't excercise their choices here
In last night episode of TB, Wahaj's smiles, smirks and attitude was chef's kiss. He was looking so lovely in those scenes. I wasn't wrong when I said he will nail those hot roles. And his acting is always on point.

I absolutely can’t wait for your review of Tere Bin on Monday!! If you both haven’t seen it yet your both in for a treat esp episode 12! I mean, these two episodes were the best ones of the drama yet. So much to say on it, I’m actually really impressed with the script & writing of characters in Tere Bin. Wahaj & Yumna’s chemistry was on fire. Wahaj Ali is totally smashing it as Murtasim - acted so brilliantly in it. Can’t wait for your review!!

I usually don't watch dramas and love hearing Hasan & Amna talking & reviewing dramas , but as I'm watching Tere bin these days and completely obsessed with it. I can't concentrate on today's review .. can't wait until Monday for Tere bin's review.

I think Bakhtawar ended really well 👌🏼👍🏼 Loved the fact that she stuck to Ahad & their relationship was mutual…
Also Dilawer stayed a good friend who she can always turn to. I think the last episode almost compensated for all the flaws & loopholes in Bakhtawer 🙂
MPHT: Maheer married Saad as a safe bet and as a friend who will understand her dilemma. She can ask Saad to end the marriage whenever she wants. It’s a temporary solution for Maheer.

Regarding Tere Bin i dont think Murtasim is scheming or anything flirting with Meerub...i binge watched the whole of 12 episodes 2 times just yesterday i now get the reason for him to fall for her..i believe it is a mix of the fact that she is a challenge for him from the beginning as she is raised differently and has a different mindset altogether regarding life etc plus the fact that she has opened up to him somehow during the misery and tragedy she faced yet she is striving and not giving up...guess these reasons sound attractive to men of high morals and values like him

After watching the teaser there was a little confusion but I guess after episode 12 it's a bit clear that he's not completely changed his personality or anything he's just changed his approach to deal with meerub knowing what all she's faced plus he really likes her...he's literally the same with his mom and everyone else....bt still there 10% doubt on my mind regarding his attitude bcoz someone rightfully pointed that the lyrics of the ost (kya hote hai bewafae, tujhe karke dekha dunga, kisi dhoke me na tu rehna, tujhe pal me bhula dunga) really scare me and indicate that this is a revenge drama.

I respectfully disagree with Aamna on zaviaar's performance. His performance felt lackluster, weak, and unnatural. Hania was impressive. Wahaj on the other hand has given a stellar performance so far. He expresses emotions through his eyes with sheer brilliance. It's a stupendous performance, richly deserving of the love and attention he is garnering from the audience.
They're totally biased towards nepo kid Zaviyar literally can't act totally expressionless and it's not his first project after doing couple of series he still didn't improved a bit and even hania was also not that great suddenly talking in a child voice doesn't look natural but yes wahaj is great he did impressive work..
I have so freakin much to say about Tere bin, sadly have to wait till Monday.

MPTH: I was rooting for Saad and Maheer to be together, but not in this manner. And in the last episode, I desperately wanted Areeb to reach there on time and marry Maheer. Because I didn't want to see another story about a girl who is left alone at the altar before the Savior (our hero) comes up and marries her. I'm literally sick of watching the same old ghissa phitta plot. 🤦♂
Please discuss Tere Bin on Fridays. By Monday its impact has lessened.

As audience I'm definitely rooting for Saad because he's a true gentleman. However, i felt really bad for Maheer too. I've seen a lot of comments blaming her for not reciprocating Saad's love. It's not her fault. It's about her feelings too and what she wants. One cannot blame her for not having romantic feelings for Saad, especially when she is not even aware of his feelings. Secondly, even if she knew it, she is not bound to love him back. It's all about consent. And luckily Saad respected that. Some people unfortunately do not understand it.
As for Areeb, I cannot root for him because he comes across as someone irrational and a bit immature. And it has been shown since the beginning. First they showed it through Anabiya's friends talking about him that he's moody and can change preferences easily. Secondly, his irrational proposal in front of everyone, without realizing the uncomfortable position he was putting her into. He didn't realise that proposing like that leaves no room for the girl to say no. Then ofcourse the gun scene which shows he isn't very level headed. Then in one scene he tells his mom that he will change Maheer after marriage and make her exactly the way his mother wants. That to me is the biggest red flag. Why marry someone when u want to change them later? Such people fight their parents to marry u but later when it's time to take a stand for their wife, they can't do it because they want her to change.
So yes, it's about Maheer's consent but as audience we know that she won't be happy in that marriage because she won't be respected. But we as audience know this, not Maheer as she is in love, so she can't be blamed for it.
And yes, I think she'll be miserable with Saad in the beginning and might give him silent treatment but much later she'll realise who's the right man for her.
MPHT: It's astonishing how predictable and boring this drama is. I can't even look at the performances after looking at the boring plot. Everyone is blaming Saad, why is no one asking, where did the rishta came from, right after the engagement with Saad was called off? Why is Maheer not telling anyone that she knew Areeb and maybe they should wait for awhile or let her talk to him?
Why was Saad put in a situation where he has to sacrifice his ego again, just for a women he knows doesn't love him? I'm so done with this drama.
This drama is senseless just like Tery Bin. A cliched story should make sense as well. MH made sense even though it was overused trope. Yes agree, one should think aik dam sy Saad ny inkaar kya aur rishta aa gya and that too on Maheer's recommendation herself. Dumb characters I would say.

MPHT- We know Maheer will eventually end up with Saad but I personally don't want her to marry Saad like this because she will hurt Saad's feelings unknowingly because she will continuously cry day and night for Areeb in front of Saad.. I want her to understand Saad's worth and love for her and then decide if she wants to marry him or not..
Really not sure why amna was praising so much Hania for this episode… hania did an average job … there was so much flaws in the story as well…

MPHT: I’m going to question the praises of HA’s performance…watched bits and pieces and other than looking pretty, her performance lacked the impact…she should have had a certain level of anxiety and fear, mixed emotions…but it all fell flat…

I'm Team Saad always! Because Maheer may not deserve this gem of a human at this point of time. But eventually she'll see his love. There will be a time his love will overpower all her emotions she's ever felt for Areeb. I think it would be more difficult on part of Saad because he'll see her miserable about Areeb and in turn will be miserable about her. Always feeling stuck in a marriage that is all about him sacrificing for her emotions. And the saddest part is he won't even be able to speak about this turmoil he'd be going through. Atleast Maheer will get a channel to vent out her feelings to him. But dearest Saad won't. I'm just hoping this phase passes soon and Maheer actually realizes that Saad and his love is unmatched and she truly needs to move on with him for him and her own self. 🤧❤️

I think Bakhtawar was a best drama. In 25 Episodes they covered many topics acid attack, dirty politics, gender discrimination.

Mery Ban Jao is the best ongoing drama right now. So subtle messaging. Not any hint of preachiness. They incorporate message superbly within the everyday lives of characters rather than dumping the messaging on the viewers brains just like Bakhtawar last episode did. I am loving Zaki and his Boss. Want to see them together happily soon. Amazing acting like our main leads as well as Azmiya's and Zaki's moms and Hira Tareen. A rare drama where every actor is delivering.
But Asmiya’s , “ ju tum kaho gaye karo gi” is becoming irritating now. The girl knows very well what he means by that, still can’t say to him to wait for two days till marriage. Not such a big deal. There are tactful ways to tell him that too. That is not a sign of being naive, it’s being a goof, having no confidence at all.

But she doesn't know how to make him understand. She loves him and is afraid to lose him. For her like every girl, love matters. Like she said in one episode that if Fardeen makes me cry then he is the one who brings smile on my face as well. Believe me, many girls think like that. Azmiya's problem as far as I think is not knowing how to say no. She doesn't want to hurt anyone as you can see she couldn't even say no to her Bhabi. Don't forget he knows what he is doing. He knows her weak points. And he hits there.
@@rabianaseer5087 Exactly. This is very common with girls who have been raised protectively, are simple and naive. People like Fardeen exist too and they take advantage of such characters because they know it's hard for them to say No. They gaslight and make others do what they do not want to under the guise of love, and emotional blackmail. For Azmiya, Its actually a case of poor boundaries....in our society, girls are not taught to establish strong boundaries. They don't have the concept of maintaining boundaries with close contacts or relations. The conversation between bhabi and Azmiya highlights that and so does the conversation between mother and Azmiya where she lectures her that she has to listen to her husband. In our society, mothers and elders are always giving such advices irrespective of anything else. That is how the girls are raised, that is why many a times domestic violence, marital rape and child abuse are so hushed and shoved under the carpet.
Amna is right that if Azmiya had complained of Fardeen after marriage, she would not have been taken seriously unless something major would have happened.
I WAS ROOTING FOR SAAD AND SAAD ONLY. Mujhe Maheer or Areeb se koi lena dena nahi, dono bohat irritating characters lagte hai. :)
I think Maheer has certain traits of her mother. The way she fell for areeb instantly and then failed to realise how humiliating Areeb’s mother was and lastly expecting saad to always rescue her and not doing anything for herself. She is the one deeply in love with Areeb and she would not say No to her father. But she expect saad to take all the blame second time. Like seriously you are not even willing to make a small effort to get your love. She could have told the dad that I don’t want to marry saad as he said no before and I want to take my time. It’s so unfair that saad is ending up marrying her while she and her mother take him for granted.

Off topic : when Saad's father blackmailing him to marry Maher I remembered a scene from Ishq Jalebi where Ashiq Hossain forcing Basim to marry Isha. I was loughing that time but now I am felling it was very problematic.
Yeah, it reminds me of Ishq Jalebi, and the amazing chemistry between father and son in that drama…but here, the relationship seems forced…can’t get past the nostalgia, therefore can’t seem to really get into MPHT…

Did you guys miss something? Am I misreading something? At the very last few seconds of the final episode of Bakhtawar, in the village, after the shots of her teaching the children, the very final few seconds show a close-up of Bakhtawar in tears, lip trembling, face crumpled in sorrow. For me, there was only one implication of those tears. The pain is for lost love, love that she had for Dilawar (is that his name?). I disagree with Amna when she says Bakhtawar was infatuated with him. She wasn't. She was in love with him. She settles with Ahad because a life with him will be appropriate and of course he will be good to her. But the heart wants what the heart wants. I would have been surprised if she had shown no nostalgia whatsoever at having lost Dilawar. It was very sensitive for the story to have paid that one last tribute to the lost love.
I thought that she was thinking about her lost sister and brother
I think it was more for she had lost and endured in the past.. esp her brother and sister
Bakhtawar: why was Bhaktawar crying at the very end of the play. The last scene shows bakhtawar with teary eyes. Are they planning a sequel?

Pakistani drama known for logic and transparency. No doubt actors done fabulous job in MPHT. But logic is completely missing in recent dramas such as tere bin, MPHT, Bakhtawar.
1. Itne bade ghar me shadi hui thi lekin kisi ke pass family ka contact no nahi tha.
2 . Itne bade logo ki barat me sirf family ke 3 log .
3 . Aise itna jaldi nikah ka kon faisala karta hai
I agree with Hassan that though the episode was strong the hospital scene had severe loopholes. Someone is waiting to get married to you lol its not a birthday invitation that you dont go to any extent to inform the other party.
But at the same time I agree with Amna on maheers resentment towards Saad and the marriage. However no, I didnt feel bad tha the marriage didn’t happen because as an audience we can see they werent ‘in love’ it was complete infatuation from maheer and plus a zid from areeb’s side so you really dont feel bad for the couple. If you were convinced that it was love then you would’ve felt bad and wished areeb would reach on time. Now coming back to maheers resentment. She might hate on Saad because on the next episode promo we see areeb reaching the wedding venue and fighting with the family, so maheer would regret this marriage as in her eyes areeb didnt dhokafy with her and also she might hate Saad as she particularly asked Saad to go to areebs house but he didnt. He didnt because the father stopped him so no fault of his but ofcourse maheer wouldnt know this. And then im afraid Saad will be busy in fixing the mess and getting maheer out of this marriage for areeb. Oh God please no!

Tere Bin and MPHT both trending here in India on top spots. Not the kind of dramas that I started watching Pakistani dramas for and definitely not my cup of tea ( may be some day I will binge watch as background noise). But am sure they are achieving what they wanted and am so happy for Yumna and Wahaj, especially Wahaj 😍 He deserves it. I just hope hope hope that he goes on to do more diverse work like he has done before because now he surely has the power to control the scripts he chooses. Another such actor whom I would like to see find a little more success and better roles is Osama Tahir. Please interview him SH he is a very fun and smart person.

Of course maheer should be with areeb as she loves him . People are saying saad because they feel for him . But in real life how a girl will feel distorted if this situation happens. Marrying a person who u dont love on the day when you are waiting to get married to the man of your dreams will make you feel so depressed. If the makers will show maher falling for saad later and marrying then it will be a same old plot .The drama is hit only because of pwerful star cast

Dear A and H; its rather early but I want both of you to please please pay attention to sar e rah's first episode - overall fine except - main lead heroine is a taxi driver's daughter - poor and only "matric pass" - yet changes multiple stylish outfits ( elegant solids mostly ), has manicured nails and honestly appears far too cultured and put together to realistically represent the class she is portraying - I thought it took away a lot from the overall impact from an otherwise decent drama. I would like to know your opinion please, thanks

Uzmia's character has been written absolutely correctly. Nobody in our households or school teach us about trusting our intuition when someone makes us feel uncomfortable. There are so many other reasons how children grow into adults with no self worth. We face narcissistic abuse and learn ourselves what's wrong with our conditioning and go through a painful yet self evolving journey. Zaki keeps reminding the girl that she should not simply bow down to the nasty fiance and put herself on the pedestal. Everyone around her has made her believe that she is lucky that Fardeen has chosen her. She is very sheltered and has no social life. Somewhere she is also seeking an opportunity of a fun, romantic and independent life in the United States.

Agree with Hassan , Areeb should have made the call . Areeb ‘s personality has slightly gray shades . We saw him put a gun on his temple in his obsession to marry Maheer , and leave his parent’s with no choice . His mind was focused on his father’s surgery and he did not call his bride to be and explain to her He certainly had ample time .
The story so far has clarified itself the shortcomings of Abeer who has an impulsive one track personality
Saad is emotionally a rock solid man who loves Maheer . He is not smitten by her. There is pure love and respect.
Coming to Maheer , she will be longing for Abeer ‘s love . Perhaps she will be indifferent to Saad’s affection .
Bottom line to this serial will be Maheer’s realization of Saad’s affection , sacrifices and love and she will happily come back to Saad her soul mate ❤
Episodes will be interesting to watch their ups and downs in their marriage .

MPHT, felt pain for everyone in this episode, that helpless situation was goose bumping. You want that she gets married to the boy she loved but then you don't want Saad to be left heartbroken. Even you don't feel happy when Maheer said Yes but at the same time you're happy that she is saved ... What a destiny ...what an episode. Taqdeer hay yeh. Apparently Saad wins but he is not he has to face real challenges now. Her heart belongs to someone else , let t's see how things unfold in front of Maheer. I must say to Maheer, you are a lucky one.
