It's important to realize that Meenu and Nofil are supposed to be a peripheral track in zpkb. Zard Patton Ka Bunn is not a love story. You get that from the title of the show itself. It's Zard patton ka bunn. If somebody still has any confusion they should go and read the nazm that they title has been taken from. And at no point did Kashf state that the show was supposed to be a love story. There's enough of those on television right now. This is the one time it is supposed to be something other than that. It's educational content.
This was the same with kuch ankahi. They kept wanting for a love story between Aliya and salman when the whole story was never just about them it was much more than that
Precisely, and it's quite disappointing in a sense that they have so often called for change in Pakistani television, new ideas and content, and when they're presented with it they look for the same old i.e. the love angle. We learn nothing from romantic stories. ZPKB has substance, give it the respect it deserves.
ZPKB: On a scale of 1 to 10 it’s an 11. It makes you cry, it makes you emotional, it makes you smile. So glad to see Abba and Roshan back and also Chacha Afzal in form, bringing relief and smiles after the last sad and intense episode. Also the writer didn’t make Meenu an all wise girl lecturing everyone which would have looked preachy and unrealistic. Such good, sensible, realistic writing presented in a thoroughly engaging manner.
This is exactly what I like about Meenu's character. She isn't faultless; she called Dr. Nofil a murderer in front of everyone. I appreciate how her mother scolds her, and rightfully so. Dr. Nofil's reaction is likewise natural. Anyone will become enraged if they are falsely accused of murdering someone. But I felt so bad for Meenu when he returned that box of mithai, but I can completely understand his anger. However, what a great watch this drama is. There isn't a single boring episode of ZPKB. You feel more depressed after watching the truth of our society. The best part is that nothing in this show is inspired by foreign culture. Everything is so relatable in this drama.

I don't think Zarnab is in love with Munna as of yet. She is just overwhelmingly grateful, it is beyond her comprehension and quite honestly humbling and gratifying for anyone, not just Zarnab, that someone would be ready to give up their life for her. This is something she expected from Faris maybe, not to the extent of losing life, but the sincerity and protection. And she gets that from someone she had assumed the worst of initially. She has been disillusioned, humbled, overwhelmed and all of that has manifested into a growing soft spot for Munna. And quite honestly, TV shows have shown women falling for much less, let alone absolute dedication.
Well being a woman if man can show through action he can quit all for her and give his life any woman will fall for it .this is rare in real-life but in dramas it happens

Hassan and team, aren't you tired of using the same 'Is Zarnaab in love? Is Munna in love? Is some XYZ in love?' in the titles? While ZPKB is presenting serious issues like child labour and questioning who is at fault-parents or society for enabling it-you continue to focus on these romantic stories. Please grow out of this repetitive narrative.
ZPKB: Just wanna to point out to Aamna here, that this is a Kashf Foundation show where the love story is actually the peripheral to the main theme. The main theme of ZPKB is upliftment of a village that is stuck in the rut of overpopulation, unemployment, hunger and lack of education. Meenu and Noufil's story cannot be the focal point every time. They are protagonists yes, but have a lot to do in their respective character arcs than just romance each other. Like Udaari was about ch!ld abu$e and Arsh and Meera's angle was only a small part of it, Dil Naa Umeed to Nahi was about traff!ck!ng and Jimmy and Rakhhi's story was a small part of it, Kuch Ankahi was equality of inheritance and financial independence of daughters and Aliya and Salman's story was a small part of it.
Goodness gracious Zarnab is not in love with Munna ,she is overwhelmed that he almost lost his life protecting her (atleast thats how its projected to her) , she is feeling guilty & is developing a soft spot that doesn't mean she is in love And ppl in cmmts needs to chill ,there are hundreds of ptv dramas which has shown fl falling in love just like that without any story or build up. You guys just amazed me sometimes. 🤦🏻♀️ Munna was taken hospital when zarnab was having lunch so maybe it was 1 or 2 pm she went & stay at hospital for 26 hours , so she came back home next evening take a nap & wake up at 8 O'clock so that she can take dinner for munna stayed for few hours and then came back at 2:00 a.m thats why faris got angry too k raat k 2 baje wahan se arahi. Because she even said to her father k subah mujhay job pe bhi jaana.
Gentleman: Zarnab and her father relationship ❤. Her father defending her in front of Haris. Zarnab in hospital with no make up and her expressions were awesome

The way Yumna switched between her expressions in the last two episodes was so perfect.Right from her running towards Munna actually that scene needs to be discussed more clearly She started walking fast with panic & then breaking into run ,that scene looked like it was from a movie literally, Haisaam's direction,the cinematography & Yumna as Zarnab all these three things fell so perfectly in sync ❤️💯
Zerd pattoon ka ban. It was a very good episode. The acting of Menu and Rani's mother in Rani's funeral was amazing. Appreciating Sajal Ali's acting is like showing a lamp to the sun. Naufal's role is also very strong, Hamza is playing it very well. Roshan and Menu's scene was very natural. And who is playing the role of Menu's father, he is a very good actor, I am watching his third drama. Sorry, I forgot his real name He is a versatile actor. Overall, it was a very good episode, and ZPKB is an amazing drama with great direction and a great realistic story. I want to a big shout out to the whole team of this drama.. great 👍 👌 ❤️❤️ ❤️
11 episode of #Zardpattonakabunn wasn't boring at all Amna ..... Cause in starting they showed Rani Funeral which was very veryyyyy important And sad ... I think it's because they have been showing so many other issues in the village because of poverty and lack of education that you would expect them to move on from child labour in 4-5 episodes.
'ZPKB'- My initial reason to watch this drama was Sajal because she totally engages Me with her natural acts every single Time. The way she exudes pain though her act is so heart touching. ofcourse the writing is good but what performance by the child actors😊 I was teary eyed seeing them. The issues shown are the bitter reality of our society & the acting by everyone is what is keeping me hooked. The young Hamza is also giving decent performance. A different script👍
You should watch DNUTN (Dil na umeed tou nahi) of Yumna. You would realize that these dramas like zpkb is just like a child Infront of DNUTN because that dra addressed almost every social issue. There you would got Asian world wide famous couples scene. YUMHAJ.

Gentleman was highly enjoyable. Great father figure and loved Yumna’s acting. Her face is like a canvas and her expressions are different colours which changes all the time.
These 2 episodes of gentleman is very high to understand . Zarnab real heart touching acting supernatural feeling to express to the audience. Her dad is doing wonderful and real expressions in everything. 👍👍👍
Faris is definitely a grey character, actually Zahid has played the character so gracefully, like man is struck between two women both of them having a dominating personalities, you know the man in distress where he knows that he has lost the trust of the woman who he claims to love but yet gets ready to hold on to the remaining threads which Zarnab did in the initial episodes when she didn't find the full involvement of Mifra in Faris's life. I don't know you guys noticed the possessive streak of Faris came out with full force,his expressions where he looks on as Zarnab prays & Amna was very much correct Faris is starting to loose his cool, want to see how far he can go for winning back Zarnab
Loved the review of #gentleman. I really enjoyed these 2 episodes as well, actually the last 4 episodes were really enjoyable. Bas I hope it stays fast paced like this and they end it at the right point without dragging the drama.
I am probably repeating myself - My mother - a South Indian (Tamilian) probably doesn't even understand urdu or Hindu accurately. But she loves you Aamna. When asked why? She said I just like her persona and aura. 🤍💓 . She loves you, Hasan and Tabesh, but Aamna the most. 🤍
gentleman- just observation ..regarding time, so saturday epi starts that day was sunday ( Z abba mentioned it) then call happens they rushed to the hospital, prayer is happening on evening tym (gets from background) they stay night there, came back home in morning/ noon( not mentioned but somewhwere there) Zarnab wake up at 8: pm ( there is mistakes in subtitles its not a.m bcz her dad didnt mentioned abt day & night so i assumed it was night bcz after that they go to the hospital as Z abba mentioned 9:30 it was night time ) they came back home like 1:30 pm as mentioned in the episode...

Gentleman. These two episodes were great. No matter how much I appreciate it, it is less. The direction was very high. Especially the scene when Zarnab and his father are listening to jokes in the hospital, and Muna is looking at Zarnab, and whenever Zarnab looks at her, he looks away. Yumna is great, Humayun Saeed also acted very well. Khalid Anam's role is also very good, and his acting is also very good. Overall, these episodes were amazing 👏 😍 🙌 ✨️

In Gentleman there is no time issue. Subah nashtay ky bad usko goli lagy and next day subah usko hosh aya.... Then they go home for nap and wake up 8:00 pm in evening and go there at 9:00 pm and return home at 2:00 am..... Hope so you understand the timing issues

I'm not sure that ZPKB was conceived to deliver entertainment specifically. I consider entertainment value more of a by-product of the narrative as expected from a Kashf foundation product. Hope it comes with a trigger warning, though (unless I've missed it), the child describing what was done to her and funeral scenes were extremely difficult to sit through but I understand they're portraying the grim reality. Also, the realistic arc of Dr. Noefl's character admitting he is afraid of the village bullies and is not "superman"..quite impressive. As well as in this episode, not easily condoning how Meenu humiliated him in front of others with a gross accusation. Gentleman: This is pleasantly surprising me with a study of complex characters and their clashing. This redefining of a " gentleman" is delightful. I am enjoying it greatly ❤
Gentleman: Seems like every couple of episodes are dedicated to building character arcs of all the characters…shows the brilliance of the director…these two episodes belonged to Zarnab’s father…my favorite line of his was when he said that his daughter deserves to be happy…that was so beautifully and sincerely said…a small token but with deep and powerful intentions…

The interactions between Zarnab and the policeman/doctor: First time he recognizes her as the TV host; second time he might have realized she’s Faris’s fiance. The only odd thing I find was giving her the information about who shot Munna. The doctor is too busy with a bullet ridden patient and his care; when everything settles down, he asks for a selfie.

I agree. I enjoy this drama, but there are some issues with it. The creators of this drama are trying too hard to make it a revolutionary series of Pakistan, but there are several scenes and tracks that are quite troublesome. They are really preventing me from appreciating this drama even more than I do right now.

The way Yumna switched between her expressions in the last two episodes was so perfect.Right from her running towards Munna actually that scene needs to be discussed more clearly
She started walking fast with panic & then breaking into run ,that scene looked like it was from a movie literally, Haisaam's direction,the cinematography & Yumna as Zarnab all these three things fell so perfectly in sync ❤️💯

Zerd pattoon ka ban. It was a very good episode. The acting of Menu and Rani's mother in Rani's funeral was amazing. Appreciating Sajal Ali's acting is like showing a lamp to the sun. Naufal's role is also very strong, Hamza is playing it very well. Roshan and Menu's scene was very natural. And who is playing the role of Menu's father, he is a very good actor, I am watching his third drama. Sorry, I forgot his real name

11 episode of #Zardpattonakabunn wasn't boring at all Amna ..... Cause in starting they showed Rani Funeral which was very veryyyyy important And sad ... Then They added #Roshen and #Meenu Scenes about 500 Rupees which makes that Rani funeral Sadness light and Add a Slid off entertainment 🙌🏻 And they showed #Meenu Mistake to show that she's not always right ..... That episode wasn't boring! Am not 🚫 agreed with youuuu about this boring stuff ...... And Next episode of course they will talk about Rani topic again cause A little girl have death her ribs was broken 💔..... Of course #DrNofil will try to Bring justice ⚖️ to #Rani .... I think it's because they have been showing so many other issues in the village because of poverty and lack of education that you would expect them to move on from child labour in 4-5 episodes.
'ZPKB'- My initial reason to watch this drama was Sajal because she totally engages Me with her natural acts every single Time. The way she exudes pain though her act is so heart touching.
ofcourse the writing is good but what performance by the child actors😊 I was teary eyed seeing them.
The issues shown are the bitter reality of our society & the acting by everyone is what is keeping me hooked.
The young Hamza is also giving decent performance. A different script👍
You should watch DNUTN (Dil na umeed tou nahi) of Yumna. You would realize that these dramas like zpkb is just like a child Infront of DNUTN because that dra addressed almost every social issue. There you would got Asian world wide famous couples scene. YUMHAJ.

Gentleman was highly enjoyable. Great father figure and loved Yumna’s acting. Her face is like a canvas and her expressions are different colours which changes all the time.

Faris is definitely a grey character, actually Zahid has played the character so gracefully, like man is struck between two women both of them having a dominating personalities, you know the man in distress where he knows that he has lost the trust of the woman who he claims to love but yet gets ready to hold on to the remaining threads which Zarnab did in the initial episodes when she didn't find the full involvement of Mifra in Faris's life. I don't know you guys noticed the possessive streak of Faris came out with full force,his expressions where he looks on as Zarnab prays & Amna was very much correct Faris is starting to loose his cool, want to see how far he can go for winning back Zarnab
Loved the review of #gentleman. I really enjoyed these 2 episodes as well, actually the last 4 episodes were really enjoyable.
Bas I hope it stays fast paced like this and they end it at the right point without dragging the drama.
I am probably repeating myself - My mother - a South Indian (Tamilian) probably doesn't even understand urdu or Hindu accurately. But she loves you Aamna. When asked why? She said I just like her persona and aura. 🤍💓 . She loves you, Hasan and Tabesh, but Aamna the most. 🤍

gentleman- just observation ..regarding time, so saturday epi starts that day was sunday ( Z abba mentioned it) then call happens they rushed to the hospital, prayer is happening on evening tym (gets from background) they stay night there, came back home in morning/ noon( not mentioned but somewhwere there) Zarnab wake up at 8: pm ( there is mistakes in subtitles its not a.m bcz her dad didnt mentioned abt day & night so i assumed it was night bcz after that they go to the hospital as Z abba mentioned 9:30 it was night time ) they came back home like 1:30 pm as mentioned in the episode...

Gentleman. These two episodes were great. No matter how much I appreciate it, it is less. The direction was very high. Especially the scene when Zarnab and his father are listening to jokes in the hospital, and Muna is looking at Zarnab, and whenever Zarnab looks at her, he looks away. Yumna is great, Humayun Saeed also acted very well. Khalid Anam's role is also very good, and his acting is also very good.
Overall, these episodes were amazing 👏 😍 🙌 ✨️

That certain fd are a cult , Before they were trashing Gentlemen, now they are trashing whoever is praising it . According to them , only their fav deserves centre stage - bhale hi deserving ho na ho.
I'm not sure that ZPKB was conceived to deliver entertainment specifically. I consider entertainment value more of a by-product of the narrative as expected from a Kashf foundation product. Hope it comes with a trigger warning, though (unless I've missed it), the child describing what was done to her and funeral scenes were extremely difficult to sit through but I understand they're portraying the grim reality. Also, the realistic arc of Dr. Noefl's character admitting he is afraid of the village bullies and is not "superman"..quite impressive. As well as in this episode, not easily condoning how Meenu humiliated him in front of others with a gross accusation.
Gentleman: This is pleasantly surprising me with a study of complex characters and their clashing. This redefining of a " gentleman" is delightful. I am enjoying it greatly ❤

Rahat's version if" tuhmari chup" is not really catchy ,why they dont play atif's version in background in recent episode. .
The interactions between Zarnab and the policeman/doctor: First time he recognizes her as the TV host; second time he might have realized she’s Faris’s fiance. The only odd thing I find was giving her the information about who shot Munna. The doctor is too busy with a bullet ridden patient and his care; when everything settles down, he asks for a selfie.

I agree. I enjoy this drama, but there are some issues with it. The creators of this drama are trying too hard to make it a revolutionary series of Pakistan, but there are several scenes and tracks that are quite troublesome. They are really preventing me from appreciating this drama even more than I do right now.

Though the production, location, and acting in Barzakh are receiving high praise, I found the storyline of the series to be very uninteresting. I believe the creators of this show are trying too hard to make it the most unique and unusual content ever produced in pakistan.

So they should be represented in our dramas aswell, and then they will praise how well makers provided solid reasons for the characters to be the way they are.
