    First, this channel is underrated, don't understand why so low subscribers. As for the subject of 996, as someone who used to work in HK in the 90's, this is common in Asia, especially the Tiger economy. Personally, I think this is one of the reason why so many HK people jump on the opportunity of leaving HK on the BNO offer. I myself left when I started a family and seeing myself burning out with little time for my kids. The balance for family/work time is required. 996 is OK for about max 10 years before it burn you out.

    China’s population is predicted to drop soon and the labor supply has been decreasing since 2013...so i doubt it
    the work life imbalance is also why people don’t have kids...as if people don’t have time
