Deep gratitude for the conversation. It was very heart-opening and insightful. Diane brought in the Civil War. I am in the process of writing a book about my ancestors, and this is the chapter I am deeply in right now for the purpose of healing this big trauma fragment that is rooted in slavery. Your comments about trauma not only overwhelming but disconnecting were exactly what I needed for my orientation in my writing at this moment, the direction of healing being connection. The energy contained in trauma being transformed in the ways you describe with grace in the space makes me so hopeful. Thomas, thank you for your ongoing guidance and presence, and for bringing in such skilled people in the field of trauma healing. 🙏🏼💗

    I’m crying before even watching.
Safety, regulation, touch & attachment have all been potent themes in my journey dealing with intense suicidal ideation.
I feel like I’m healing generational development attachment wounds.
    Thank you.
    Looking forward to tuning in.

Very hopeful presentation, love your energy, and vast experience on the subject, Diane. Thank you so much for the richness of your sharing both personally and professionally. This would be an excellent topic for the TICC group, in working with attachment wounds when they show up in leadership capacities.

I’m listening for understanding. When I went through a devastating loss my husband’s family distanced themselves from me even though he asked them to reach out in support to me. Now I have a hard time wanting to attend family events that feel superficial and pretend.
