I miss The Somatic Defilement days :c By far my favorite album by them. Fairy Fay, The Somatic Defilement, Ear to Ear, Devirgination Studies, Prostatic Fluid Asphyxiation, Alone in the Morgue, Festering Fiesta, Vicer Exciser, Articulo Mortis .So fucking good.
I don't understand why so many people are hating on this song. I get that they might not like it, but it just seems like everyone's stuck in the past. Somatic defilement was almost a decade ago, let it rest and just appreciate that Whitechapel are still making music.

They went from Deathcore/ Deathcore w/ groove influences, to Groove with core influences. Whoa huge difference right? No, they just replaced SOME mindless chugging with actual riffs, and started having deeper lyrical content than the overused ripper theme. Even with the respect I have for the metalhead community, a lot of core fans tend to be some of the most musically narrow minded people.
Why the fuck is everyone hating on this track? I can hear Phil's voice is still the same, the guitars are a bit more dominant and groovy. Honestly, this track is badass! Sure, The Somatic Defilement but if you try and say they are terrible now then you seriously need to rethink that statement. They have gone in a SLIGHTLY different direction but they still are one hell of a band! \m/

Learn that everyone has different opinions and whitechapel is more "core" now but still heavy, and if the song don't talk about cutting heads, raping corpses or drinking blood, what?, do you have a problem with that?? the song still's good, and probably the album will have more heavy and dark songs. Personally I like the sound of this song because it is chaotic, especially guitars. The band can be more metal or core when they want, and will still remain being deathcore, it is good that the sound of a band evolves. I really don't understand why people crap on Deathcore. It's not the best metal has to offer, but it's still pretty damn good, and this is coming from a guy who normally listens to Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot (yeah, metalheads just love them, too).
Fucking awesome. They went for more of a natural sound. The way the band actually sounds. Loving the mix , everything sounds nice and dinamic. Can't wait for the record. Leaving little details like 0:02 make things special. I understand people who wants their music to sound like it was played by a computer and edited to death probably wont get it.

SAW them live a few days ago at Into The Grave and this song was the show opener - it was epic! Man, they did an amazing show, everybody was cheered up and energized and being a part of the crowd was fucking awesome! Definetly want to see these guys live again!

I think Whitechapel is separating itself from Deathcore to more of Groove metal feel. if you are a deathcore fan you probably won't like this that much.

I love to see people complaining about the song isn't heavy, or that's boring, or that they prefer the pre-this-is-exile-whitechapel because the sound was heavier. Learn that everyone has different opinions and whitechapel is more "core" now but still heavy, and if the song don't talk about cutting heads, raping corpses or drinking blood, what?, do you have a problem with that?? the song still's good, and probably the album will have more heavy and dark songs. Personally I like the sound of this song because it is chaotic, especially guitars. The band can be more metal or core when they want, and will still remain being deathcore, it is good that the sound of a band evolves. It must be sad be one of those people who can't appreciate the core or the metal in deathcore or those people who can't appreciate death metal and deathcore

I really don't understand why people crap on Deathcore. It's not the best metal has to offer, but it's still pretty damn good, and this is coming from a guy who normally listens to Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot (yeah, metalheads just love them, too).
Fucking awesome. They went for more of a natural sound. The way the band actually sounds. Loving the mix , everything sounds nice and dinamic. Can't wait for the record. Leaving little details like 0:02 make things special. I understand people who wants their music to sound like it was played by a computer and edited to death probably wont get it.
I love technical ass recorded all to fuck music as much as the next guy, but you are right, can't beat a good raw tone.

Recently discovered these guys, and I love them. I caught a few minutes of their warped tour set, but I was seeing another band at the same time they played.
I think Whitechapel is separating itself from Deathcore to more of Groove metal feel. if you are a deathcore fan you probably won't like this that much.
